Xornoth's Perspective-

Xornoth walked down to the library and saw Rose sitting at a table, a couple books pulled off the shelves and put next to her.

Lumi left and Xornoth walked up to Gem's mother.

"You wished to speak with me?" He asked and Rose looked up.

"Ah, yes, I'm glad you're here. Your parents have told me everything they know about what happened to you and the demon. But I need to know if there's anything else you haven't told us."

Xornoth hesitated, thinking back to last night.

Rose's stare softened as she saw Xornoth hesitate.

"Xornoth, I need to know if anything else has happened."

Xornoth took a deep breath and nodded.

"W-well something did happen last night."

The Previous Night-

Xornoth opened his eyes and gasped as he saw he was in the corrupted realm. He saw the demon cackle.

"You seem scared every time you arrive here. It's like you're surprised I haven't left you yet."

"You've already done what you wanted with me!"

"Have I though? Your pesky father got in the way. Guess next time I take over I have to get him out of the way first." The demon muttered.

Xornoth looked worried, "What do you mean next time?"

"Oh come on, you're not that idiotic. Figure it out, kid. I'm stronger than you'll ever be."

"Yeah, well as you said, there's something holding you back from full power. Seems you're not as strong as you think you are." Xornoth snapped.

The demon's eye twitched and he grabbed Xornoth by the neck and slammed him against the wall, causing him to scream out in pain as he felt his back ache.

"You want me to be mean? Fine, I'll be mean." The demon growled, "Look kid, I'm being nice by biding my time. I'm letting you live your little pitiful fucking life, but once you get on my nerves, I'll take over again. I don't have to ask you every time, you know. I can just swoop in because you're just so fucking miserable right now. It's easy now that I've broken you down."

The demon let go of Xornoth, dropping him onto the ground.

Xornoth coughed and felt tears form in his eyes.

"You know what, why don't we start my plan right now? Seems like you're not gonna get a good night's rest because I'm gonna need to take over for a bit." The demon smirked and his hand plunged into Xornoth's forehead.

Present Time-

"-and I don't know what it's planning, but I imagine it has something to do with him gaining full power." Xornoth sighs.

Rose nods, "Do you have any idea what he did when he took over last night?"

"I...don't. I can't remember anything after that dream. All I know is that he must've been quiet when taking over because no one told me if anything happened last night."

"Well thank you for telling me this. You may leave."

Xornoth nods and slowly stands up, walking back up to his room.

He saw an owl on his windowsill and assumed it was Scott responding to the letter he sent earlier.

He gently grabbed the letter and pet the owl's head.

He sat down and opened the envelope, unfolding the letter. He was confused and reread it before realizing that the demon must've had something to do with this.

What the-

Xornoth felt himself get a splitting headache and he heard an echoey voice.

"Oh! That's for me. Why don't you go, and I'll handle this."

Xornoth felt himself grow drowsy as his head fell onto the desk. 

Yeah so this may be a bit confusing but let me tell you, the next chapter will be like hell. it was so confusing and I had no way of making it make sense so uh- good luck with that whenever I post it.
