Jimmy's Perspective-

Jimmy traveled to Rivendell, a nervous wreck. He was led upstairs by one of the houseworkers and saw Scott lay down on his bed, his wing and shoulder bandaged. The corruption was digging into his body and apparently it could damage his powers.

Wallis looked up and he saw Jimmy.

"How's he doing?" Jimmy whispered, watching as Rose and Gem were trying to heal Scott.

"Better, but a part of the corruption had already entered his body." Wallis said.

Scott was awake, but barely. He swallowed the healing potion Gem gave him and he turned to Jimmy.

"Hey...how're you feeling?" Jimmy whispered, kneeling down.

Scott tries to shrug but winces.

"Just take it easy, it'll be okay." Jimmy said, holding Scott's hand and kissing it.

Scott smiled and Rose cleared her throat.

Wallis looked up at her, wanting to know what she was going to say.

Rose took a deep breath, her eyes flicking between Scott and Jimmy. Her voice was steady but soft, reflecting both her concern and her determination.

"Scott, the corruption is strong, but so are we. We need to find out where it's spreading and counteract it before it does more damage. It's not just about healing the physical wounds; we need to address the corruption directly."

She glanced at Wallis, then back at Scott. "We've got a few leads on how to extract the corruption, but it's going to require some risky magic. We'll need your cooperation and your strength."

Scott nodded weakly, his grip on Jimmy's hand tightening slightly. "Do what you have to do. I trust you all."

Gem, who had been quietly preparing more healing potions and magical artifacts, looked up. "We need to start immediately. Time is of the essence, and the longer we wait, the harder it will be to remove the corruption."

Scott woke up and he saw Rose and Gem standing nearby.

"How do you feel?" Rose asked.

"A bit sore."

She gave him another healing potion and Scott drank it slowly.

"Can you try moving your wing?" Gem asked.

Scott folded out his wing and waved it slowly.

"Thank you so much, Rose." Wallis and Allison said.

"Of course, I hope that he starts feeling better soon."

Jimmy walks over and Scott smiles.

"Hey." Scott smiles.

Jimmy smiled back, "Hi."

He kissed Scott's cheek.

"So where did you go?" Jimmy asked, "Your parents caught me up on the fact you left."

"I kinda got lost..." Scott said, not wanting to bring up his fight with the demon. Xornoth's fearful look was still lingering in Scott's mind.

Jimmy looked concerned and he squeezed Scott's hand gently.

Scott looked back at Jimmy.

"Are you okay?" Jimmy whispered.

"Yeah, I am. Just uh- got lost and found a bunch of corruption and tried to fight it off."

"Oh...well, just be careful next time, okay?"

Scott nods.

"And you know you can tell me anything, right?" Jimmy said in a gentle voice.

Scott looked in his eyes before nodding.

"Right..."
