THE PRIEST had run away, seeing the dead people enter the small chapel he lived in was terrifying- it might take a bit while before he comes back.

But the skeletons had settled themselves on the benches, and Draco waited on the very end of the isle, waiting in his black suit. He didn't feel upset about this- besides his mother, there was no one, and nothing keeping him up here.

So it really was no problem.

Once everyone was settled, they waited, and locked their eyes (some that had them.) on the door on the other side of the short isle.

Just a moment later, Y/N entered the small chapel, her gown beautifully fit on her body, and her veil covering her beautiful face.

Everyone smiled seeing the girl. This was it, she was going to meet the happiness she's been dreaming of.

Draco himself couldn't help but get lost at the sight of the girl. Merlin, how ever did he fall in love with her? The corpse bride?

Stopping by the altar, Y/N smiled up at the boy, her eyes glinting with joy through the thin fabric on her face, "How do I look?" she asked in a low mumble.

The blonde gave her a loving smile, "Like my wife," he said, making the girl blush- even though she can't physically do that, really.

Olke, being the one to marry the young couple, cleared his throat, and with that, the two faced him, both couldn't keep the smiles off their faces.

"Are the both of you ready- are you both sure for this?" asked Olke before starting.

Both Y/N and Draco nodded, "We're sure," they said, almost at the same time.

The old skeleton just nodded, "Very well," he said, and with that, he started the ceremony, "Let's skip the boilderplate and get straight to the vows. The living first- Draco Malfoy, please do," said Olke.

Draco nodded, and took a deep breath, but before he could start, Y/N slipped off her ring and gave it to the blonde with a small chuckle. Draco let out an embarrassed laugh, and finally continued, "With this hand, I will life your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine," he said, and took a candle from the table, lifting it up, "With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

He slipped the ring into the girl's boney finger, making the girl smile- but she couldn't help but feel guilty for some reason.

As if she forced Draco into this- which she didn't.. right?

"Now you," Olke nodded at Y/N.

Clearing her throat, she took a deep breath, "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine-"

She stopped, her breath hitching when her eyes caught the sight of two girls. The other she knew, but the other, not really.

Astoria's eyes were wide as the full moon as she and her sister hid by the door. Y/N saw the tears in her eyes, and she couldn't help but feel guilty.

"Go on, Y/N," said Olke, making the girl snap out of her trance.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, she forced herself to just look at the blonde, who smiled lightly at her, "With this candle.. I light.." she trailed off, her eyes making its way to Astoria, Who slowly made her way inside the chapel, "I light your way.."

Y/N looked down. The guilt she's feeling was unbearable. She can't do this- Draco was never hers. This isn't supposed to be about her.

"Y/N..? What's wrong?"

She looked up at the voice of Draco, her eyes full of sadness, "This is wrong," she said almost above a whisper. She removed her ring, and gave it back to the blonde, "I love you, I'll always will. But you're not mine. You were never mine. My dreams were taken from me, now I've stolen someone else's."

Draco furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, and Y/N saw that. Instead of answering him, she let her eyes go to Astoria who stood in the middle of the chapel, her eyes glassy with tears. The blonde followed the girl's eyes, and immediately was surprised to see his supposed to be bride standing there.

"Astoria!" he exclaimed, and saw the girl's sister, "Daphne!" he exclaimed once again, surprised to see the Greengrass sisters there.

The younger Greengrass walked forward, "I thought you were married?" she asked.

Draco walked down a step, "I thought you were too?"

Astoria looked down at her finger, and saw the ring there. She took a deep breath, and nodded.

"Where did you get that..?" Y/N asked, seeing the ring. She thought it looked very familiar.

Before anyone could answer, Francis Warrenton entered the chapel, the same old devilish grin on his face. Astoria backed away, and Daphne immediately took action to cover her sister from getting hurt if ever, "Oh, what did I miss?"

A gasp was heard from Y/N. She remembers the man very much, "You!" she exclaimed, making everyone look at her, "You're the one who killed me! You took my ring! And you're the reason I'm down there instead of here!"

Francis dusted his suit off, "Nonsense! I am a respected wizard!" he exclaimed, and walked forward with such pride.

Fuming, Y/N pointed at the ring, "The ring has my name in it, you can see it inside."

Astoria removed the ring with furrowed eyebrows. She did, indeed see a name there, "'For Y/N, with all my love,'."

Everyone looked at Francis. Astoria hated to admit it, but she can't say she was surprised, and so is Draco. Francis Warrenton, along with his ancestors were dark wizards, so it was something they'd do.

But that doesn't mean it wasn't wrong.

Draco, came for the man, pushing him as hard as he could, "Murderer!" he exclaimed.

Francis let out a laugh, "Like you're any better, Malfoy."

At that, Draco couldn't help himself, he gave the man a swing of the fist, hitting Francis' face with such force. He didn't have his wand, and desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Warrenton gave him one back, but with the blonde's seeker reflexes, he immediately ducked.

The dead people screamed, cheering for the blonde, as if this wasn't a matter of life and death. And as they did, Y/N took care of Astoria and Daphne, taking them behind the pastor's table, thinking there was the safest.

"I want a divorce!" exclaimed Astoria.

Olke only nodded, "Done," he said.

And with that, even though Y/N didn't want to, she exchanged rings with Astoria. It was time to let go of this. She knew Draco wasn't for her even from the start.

"Let's see if you can fight this one," Francis crackled like a mad man, and took out his wand. Draco let out a gasp, seeing as he didn't have his own, "Avada Kedavra!"

The blonde closed his eyes as he waited for his death- but passed a few seconds, he didn't see any light. So slowly, he opened his eyes, and they widened seeing the Malfoy's former coachman in front of him.

Lester smiled, "You can't kill me if I'm already dead."

Without giving Francis another second to react, Lester already kicked the wand out of the wizard's grasp, making it fly out of his hands, and instead rolled through the floor, away from the wizard.

Francis' eyes widen, "You can't defeat me!"

The dead people laughed, "Oh, let's see," they said, and with that, they took Francis Warrenton into some kind of confession booth, and there, the four, Daphne, Astoria, Y/N, and Draco could hear the man's yells.

Y/N ignored it, and faced the three living people in the chapel, "Well," she sighed, smiling at them, "This is where I say good bye, where I set you free."

Draco walked forward, and took Y/N's hand in his, "You don't have to go if you don't want to," he said.

The girl shook her head, "It's time for me to go," she said, tears in her eyes. For a moment, they stared at each other. Y/N gave the blonde a tight hug, as it was their last one.

Hugging her back just as tight, Draco soothed the girl's hair, "For a night, you weren't bad for a bride," he tried to joke as they back away.

Y/N let out a laugh, and glanced at Astoria, "Well, you'll have a much better bride now," she said.

And with that, the corpse bride nodded at the three and started walking towards the doors of the small chapel.

As soon she felt the wind on her skin, she let herself go with it.

She disappeared, and instead, she turned into hundreds of butterflies, emerging into the wind.

Y/N was free.

And Draco felt happy for the girl. Cause if you love someone, you have to let them go, even though it's hard.
