Book title: Summer Jam

Author:Ookaishy

Genre: Romance

Judged by: lonelywriter06

Title(5):5

Review: The title fit the feeling of the novel and made me want to click on it.

Cover (5): 5

Review: If I could give it more then I would because it is so beautiful and made me want to read the book.

Blurb(10): 10

Review: It was short and to the point plus, the author added a little note that related to a lot of people(including me) and would make somebody want to read it even more since people are drawn to things they can relate to.

Language/ Grammar/ Writing style (15): 15

Review: The grammar and writing style was good, it wasn't too slow or rushed and kept up the same momentum throughout all five chapters that I read. The author also used a good amount of words and synonyms.

Character development (15): 15

Review: The characters didn't have development within the first five chapters but I like it that way since there isn't anything wrong with them and brings diversity. The characters were described well and were relatable to both girls(Or anybody) rather they're more girly, or more masculine.

Creativity/Originality (15): 15

Review: It's a good story idea and very relatable yet I haven't seen any books with the same plotline. The chapters do play into the plot unlike some books that sorta forget.

Overall impression (25): 25

Review: Honestly, I loved it and it's something I'll also enjoy in my own time as well. There isn't anything I could complain about, the chapter length was good and it had a good flow. I really related to this book and it definitely left a good impression on me.

Reader's attention (10): 10

Review: The author truly does keep the reader absorbed in the story and makes me want to continue reading to see if she finally confesses what I'm pretty sure is romantic feelings towards her best friend.

Total score (out of 100): 100

Review: The book overall was perfect and fun to read! Just from the blurb it had my interest and it definitely didn't disappoint. It never once let my attention slip out of the author's grasp and since the spacing/flow was so good I had an easy time reading as well. I can tell this author put a lot of work into this novel and it definitely paid off. I enjoyed reading this beautifully done novel and will definitely continue to read it as well as the author's other book and any new releases.

Book title:Bloomed Beats

Author:PRAVALLIKARAJ

Genre: Romance

Judged by: lonelywriter06

Title(5):5

Review: The title was intriguing and fit on the cover perfectly. It drawed me in and made sense considering the genre.

Cover (5): 5

Review: The cover was alluring and the word placing was a fantastic choice. I like how the background was blurred and the two lines on the top and bottom of the title words.

Blurb(10): 10

Review: The blurb was intriguing and kept my interest as well as made me want to read it. The grammar for the blurb was good as well as the flow which gives me high expectations for the novel and the author.

Language/ Grammar/ Writing style (15): 15

Review: The grammar was amazing and so was the style of writing. It was very pleasing to read and so was the way the author used synonyms instead of repeating the same words over and over.

Character development (15):15

Review: I love Amber and how independent she is, I love the fact that she doesn't need a man which is sadly very different from usual cliche novels. It'll definitely inspire people to be independent and I love that. I hope that she does become more accepting of her feelings, but the author definitely did a wonderful job of portraying her character.

Creativity/Originality (15):15

Review: Like I said above Amber is very different from most mc's and so is the plot idea itself. I really liked the idea and I haven't seen it done very often but I do think that it should be done.

Overall impression (25):25

Review: I enjoyed reading and I think it was very well written. This author is very talented and this novel has huge potential. The chapter length was good, but it didn't leave an impression on me as good as it was.

Reader's attention (10): 8

Review: It was very good, but at some points it got slow/boring and didn't hold that same energy throughout the rest of the chapters. For me I would have stopped reading because I lost interest after a while, but the writing was still sickening(in a good way)

Total score (out of 100): 98

Review: I liked it quite a bit, I just think it needs to work on holding one tense and keeping the same excitement throughout the rest of the chapters. The grammar was beautiful and the author did a wonderful job on the blurb and cover. Again, I think the fact that she doesn't need a man is a nice refresher and the detailing to portray that emotion is amazingly done especially since it shows that she does indeed still have emotions.

Book title:Roses and Venom

Author:Siya_Stark3000

Genre: Romance

Judged by: lonelywriter06

Title(5): 4

Review: The title is a bit cliche but still was interesting and pulled me in. The font they used was beautiful and really fit the energy of the story and genre.

Cover (5):5

Review: The cover was gorgeous and I honestly wish I could say something was wrong with it but it was perfect. The font and place they put it on was all an amazing choice.

Blurb(10): 7

Review: It was hard to read and it wasn't very interesting. It was also very choppy and the author should work on their flow in their blurb.

Language/ Grammar/ Writing style (15): 13

Review: The author used a weird font that made it irritating to read and made all my senses automatically wanting to click off. There should be spacing between dialog to make it less confusing, but besides that it was good especially the word use and detail.

Character development (15): 15

Review: I liked how the author portrayed their personalities and I also liked how the characters complimented each other personality wise. The characters stayed with their original personalities of which the readers would have assumed by the blurb.

Creativity/Originality (15): 10

Review: It's an overused cliche trope and I've seen countless novels like it. This novel doesn't bring anything new sadly but that doesn't mean it's not a bad book, it was very well written, just a cliche.

Overall impression (25): 23

Review: It didn't leave an impression on me and it's definitely not the book I can see myself reading every day, but that doesn't mean others won't. It has potential and a good flow to it, it's just the font that messes with my head and makes me not want to read it. The chapters had a fair length and good word use, it wasn't slow and kept me interested after I got over the font.

Reader's attention (10): 10

Review: This novel does keep the reader interested, the author did a wonderful job on that front. It thankfully wasn't slow, or choppy so it piqued and held the same interest throughout all five chapters.

Total score (out of 100): 87

Review: I enjoyed it and it definitely has potential, the font of the story itself needs to be changed to something more readable as does the blurb. The detail was beautiful and so was the characteristics and how they were written and shown. I enjoyed reading. I just think the author should add their own twist into it to make it less cliche.

Book title:On the Edge Of Tomorrow

Author:0liviaRose436

Genre: Romance

Judged by: lonelywriter06

Title(5): 4

Review: It's an interesting name, I just don't see how it fits with the story, or genre. It sounds more like a horror book title than romance plus, it just sounds familiar and not something new and fun.

Cover (5): 4

Review: It's a pretty cover, don't get me wrong except the font is a bit unprepossessing and the whole silhouette of people being romantic in front of a crowd is just unpleasant. It's not very eye-catching and wasn't really drawing me in to read the story, and if I only saw that and the title then I wouldn't assume it was in the romance genre.

Blurb(10): 9

Review: It was written very well, but it's way too long and I lost interest in the first paragraph. It's very insightful about the story and corresponds with it as well, it just doesn't make me want to jump into reading it.

Language/ Grammar/ Writing style (15): 15

Review: Amazing! The grammar and word use was marvelous, the writing style was pleasant as well. I loved the detailing and how the author elucidated their characteristics and how they wrote their instant connection while also writing how they try to pull away from one another.

Character development (15): 15

Review: The characters were written magnificently and I loved how the author included their looks as well as showed their personality quickly instead of waiting to do so. I like how they can be so in touch with one another and how teasing they are. I love how the author wrote these characters, definitely some of my favorite writing on that front in a while.

Creativity/Originality (15): 15

Review: I found this book very creative and even when I have seen the plot done before I haven't seen the author describe it so well before, especially how much insecurity and doubt floods the mind in these kinds of situations. While reading I got the sense that it was based off of something, but that may be wrong either way though it definitely had a familiar feel to it even though I can't seem to recall when I read something like this.

Overall impression (25): 22

Review: Besides my few concerts which I've stated I quite enjoyed reading, I loved this author's writing style and loved how detailed they were. I can tell how much time and effort this kind of writing would take and the author executed it absolutely perfectly.

Reader's attention (10): 10

Review: The author did a wonderful job of keeping the reader's attention by continuously providing more action and not letting the energy dull. The flow was also good and wasn't choppy which definitely helped make sure the reader does not get aggravated and quits reading the book.

Total score (out of 100): 94

Review: I loved it! The author is very talented, the grammar and flow was good. I loved the word use and especially the detailing, the author kept the reader's attention as well. My only issues were the title, cover and blurb, otherwise I was blown away by the author's talent and this novel has huge potential.

Book title:Androphobia

Author:Dark_Queen_Writez

Genre: Romance

Judged by: lonelywriter06

Title(5): 5

Review: I found the title interesting given the meaning behind it, it did make me want to click on it to learn more. The title fits with the novel and within that range the genre as well.

Cover (5): 4

Review: Given it being an eighteen plus book, I don't see why there's a child on the cover, or how it fits with the title. The cover is gorgeous and eye-catching though.

Blurb(10): 10

Review: I love the blurb. I love how they put the meaning of the title just in case someone may have not known and I was pleased that it wasn't a bunch of paragraphs. Even though it was short, the blurb wasn't boring and had dialog that also reflected what the story was about and did intrigue me to read it and find out what happened next.

Language/ Grammar/ Writing style (15): 10

Review: In the prologue the writing style was very nice and it didn't have many grammar issues which got my expectations up, but then in the first chapter that all got thrown out the window. There were no details and only dialog, the rest had a bit of detail but mainly dialog without even explaining who was talking which was very disappointing plus, there were a lot of grammar issues.

Character development (15): 10

Review: I liked the characters' personalities and how they held and were made by past traumas, but I can't see many readers relating to any of them since it's so specific. Plus, the author didn't describe the characters actions, or anything in that matter.

Creativity/Originality (15): 13

Review: It's creative, but done so many times before, it's such a cliche but the author does put their own twist within it. If the author took the time to explain and detail then it'd be a much higher score, but it doesn't seem like much time was put into it.

Overall impression (25): 18

Review: I enjoyed the prologue the most, it was the only time the author really made me feel emotion for the character and the backstory. I think this book could be amazing if the author made sure to reread and correct any mistakes as well as put more detail.

Reader's attention (10): 5

Review: The blurb and the prologue again was very interesting and made me want to continue reading, but once I hit the first chapter I wanted to stop and click out because at times I couldn't even tell who was talking.

Total score (out of 100): 53

Review: The author didn't seem like they put much time or effort into it, it mostly seems like they slapped some sentences onto the page and pressed publish. This novel has huge potential especially with raising awareness on how to handle kids and how abuse affects young children's minds, but the author needs to detail more and show more emotion concerning stuff like that. My biggest concern is how there's mostly only dialog to the point where I don't know who's talking, before publishing the author should reread and fix any mistakes and take the time and give the energy to truly put emotion into their work.
