Chapter 27: Burn In Hell
Asha woke up in what appeared to be a wooden shed. She was tied to a stake and began to panic. Below her feet was brush and wood easy to set fire to if someone wanted. Asha struggled with the ropes that tied her against the stake.
It didn't take her long since she had FBI training, and Caren wasn't that good at tying ropes. Asha carefully stepped over the brush and wood and was headed for the door when it was thrown open.
Caren and Gretchen walked in and Gretchen sighed, "I told you to let me tie her up."
"Well I'm sorry! I didn't know she was that smart, I thought she was just a hothead." Caren said, and Asha scoffed.
"At least I'm not a serial killer!" Asha said, then punched Caren in the face. She kicked Gretchen in the knee then ran out the door. She bolted through the woods that she wasn't familiar with and eventually had to slow down.
She was tired and everything was dark, it had to be around 10pm. A twig snapped probably 15 feet from her and she jumped and crept quietly away from it. She hid behind a tree catching her breath and looked behind over her shoulder on both sides and waited.
There was no one there, she didn't hear voices. Was she safe? She searched her pockets for her phone but it appeared they had taken it from her. Asha moved away from the tree and headed back in the direction she came. If she went any farther into the forest she wasn't going to find her way back out.
Caren suddenly popped out from behind a tree and smacked her with a crowbar. Asha hit the ground instantly out like a light. Blood pooled out of her head but she was still alive.
"I think it's time for us to teach some lessons about people getting involved." Caren said, and Gretchen joined her.
"What'd you have in mind?" She asked, and Caren smiled wickedly.

Aubrey was tired, she hadn't found Asha after searching all day. "Damnit I told her not to get involved." Aubrey muttered to herself and took a shot of vodka.
She jumped when she heard glass shatter outside and an explosion. She threw open her door and on fire in front of her house was Asha. Aubrey grabbed her fire extinguisher and rushed over spraying out the fire.
There wasn't much left other than a charred sticky black corpse. Aubrey knew this was a warning to not get involved, but this was Asha. It wasn't someone she couldn't stand like Victoria, or Owen. It was her wife, the love of her life for several years.
She pulled out her phone even though she knew Gretchen wasn't far away, and she dialed 911.

The police arrived shortly with Gretchen in the lead. They took Asha away in an ambulance. Gretchen approached Aubrey who was sitting on her porch. "Are you okay?" Gretchen asked sitting next to Aubrey.
"Do you really care?" Aubrey asked, and Gretchen nodded.
"Of course I do. We are friends." Gretchen said, but Aubrey scoffed and stood up.
"Could've fooled me you two-faced whore!" Aubrey replied, "go fuck yourself." Aubrey slammed the door and locked the four different locks on her door. She pulled out her phone and sent a text to her remaining friends. Linda, Tori, and Scarlett.
"Meet me tomorrow at my house, we're taking these two down." -Aubrey
"Are you sure it's a good idea to mess with them??" -Scarlett
"It's either that or the rest of us are going to end up dead." -Aubrey
"We'll see you tomorrow." -Scarlett, Tori, Linda
