Chapter 13: Dates and Discussions
"Scarlett?" Lori said, trying to grab her wife's attention.
"What did you do this?" Scarlett asked, seeming annoyed.
"Nothing; I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date?" She asked, and Scarlett smiled.
"Really? That's sweet. I'd love to!" Scarlett replied with a gentle smile.
"Great, let's go then!" Lori headed for the door, but Scarlett wasn't done yet.
"Can we fuck, too? Your ass looks fabulous in those jeans" Scarlett smirked seductively, and Lori rolled her eyes.
"Fuck it, why not."

"Aubrey Aquarius, this is getting ridiculous!" Asha shouted at her wife, clearly losing her cool as usual.
"What's ridiculous? Because I feel like your reaction is ridiculous, hothead." Aubrey replied, sipping her coffee and enjoying the book Tears Of Flames by Michelle Miller. She had found the book by browsing the bestseller list on Amazon and couldn't help but pick it up.
"Shut up, smartass! You have invited aliens into our home without asking me! They are trampling through here every day! I am an FBI agent; my files could get compromised!" Asha continued to shout, losing her mind.
"Asha sweetie, for one, they aren't making a mess; second, they don't care about your files; they aren't human and aren't even from this planet. Lastly, they are my friends, and I'd really appreciate it if you would be nice to them; I don't complain when you invite that two-faced whore over here, do I?" Aubrey preached to Asha, who fell silent for a moment.
"Fine, but if they touch my stuff or make a mess, I will murder you and them!" Asha threatened, and Aubrey laughed hysterically.
"Yeah, right, you couldn't live without me, and you know it." Aubrey challenged, and Asha crossed her arms and huffed.
"Shut the fuck up." Asha stomped away angrily into the bedroom and slammed the door.
Aubrey rolled her eyes, "humans," she muttered and returned to her fascinating book.

"Help me with my bra so we can go," Lori said, and Scarlett chuckled and clasped it back together. She then snapped it against her back which was not well received by her lover. "Really? Was that necessary? That hurt, asshole." Lori turned around and glared at Scarlett.
"Awe, it was in good fun. I love you now; let's go!" Scarlett chuckled, and the two headed to a nice restaurant on the north side of town. Everything looked too expensive to touch, which was definitely Scarlett's forte.
"Surprise your favorite place!" Lori said and kissed Scarlett's cheek.
"Very lovely; now don't break anything, steal anything, or start any fights. If you do, I will pretend like I do not know you." Scarlett told Lori sternly.
"I promise I'll behave, Ms. Scorpio. Now, let's go." Lori took her arm, and the two headed inside.
"Whatever you say, Ms. Leo," Scarlett muttered sarcastically. However, to her surprise, Lori behaved herself for probably the first time in her life. They got through the whole dinner without a single mishap.
"I'm proud of you; you didn't get in any trouble. Now, why can't you do that all the time?" Scarlett asked, and Lori shrugged.
"I don't know. I like living on the wild side." She sighed, but Scarlett smiled.
"Well, I'll tell you what, you can work at The Frisky Scorpion as my bouncer since my other guy left. I'm sure you'll have no problem beating people up and throwing them out if they cause trouble?" Scarlett looked at Lori and smiled gently.
"Hell yeah, I'll definitely do it! But what about my criminal record?" Lori questioned her, and Scarlett chuckled.
"I talked to Linda, and as long as you aren't serving alcohol or drinking, you can do the job." They pulled up to their house, and Lori smiled.
"Alright, I'm in."
