It was early Morning, when Anika opened her eyes and saw the most beautiful scene of her life.

She saw Shivaay sleeping on the couch with Vanya asleep on his arm. She found the scene quite adorable. She stepped down from the bed and walked towards them.

She was trying to pick up Vanya and made her lay down on her cot but it broke Shivaay's sleep. He looked at Anika while rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, which Khushi found very cute.

A- Why are you sleeping here? You should've woken me up.

S- Vanya was crying very much at night and you were sleeping so calmly so I thought that I'll handle her.

Shivaay said with a cute pout and Anika smiled at him. She gently took Vanya from him and made her lay down on the cot.

A- You sleep on the bed for sometime and I'll go and freshen up.

S- No. You also sleep. Anyways, it's only 6 am.

A- But..

Shivaay held her hand and dragged her to the bed.

S- sleep.

He lied down on the bed and spread his arm for Anika. Anika smiled and rested her head on his arm and wrapped her another hand around his stomach.

S- Oh! I told you about my school best friend right. Actually today, he and his girlfriend are coming for dinner. Is it alright with you?

A- of course. I would love to meet them.

Anika smiled at him and Shivaay pecked her forehead.

A(thinks)- Should I tell Shivaay about Reyansh? I don't know how will he react?

Anika was lost in her thoughts and soon they drifted into sleep.

It was finally evening and the arrangements for Shivaay's guests.

Anika herself got ready in a pink saree while she made Vanya wear a cute onesie. And Shivaay was dressed in a white shirt with gray pants.

Anika went downstairs to the kitchen while Shivaay was playing with Vanya in the living room and she was watching her father very keenly.

Tai was setting the dining table with the help of servants and Anika walked towards them.

A- Tai, why are you doing all the work? You should've called me.

Taai cupped her face and gently patted her cheeks.

T- No. You won't be doing any work. You have given birth to Vanya only 3 days ago. You should rest. Now go and sit with Shivaay. I'll handle everything.

Anika smiled and walked towards the living room. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and a servant opened the door. Shivaay Smiled widely and walked towards the door with Anika.

S- They are here.

A man and a woman entered the main door with smile on their faces. Anika looked at the man and her eyes got filled with tears.

She rushed towards him and hugged the mand tightly while the man hugged her back.

A- Rey! I missed you so much.

R- I missed you too, my doll.

Shivaay looked at Reyansh and Anika with shock.

Reyansh broke the hug and wiped Anika's tears.

R- where were you? You know I was so worried for you. I thought I lost you.

A- I'm so sorry.

Reyansh just Hugged her again and she sobbed on his shoulder while Reyansh caressed her head.

Shivaay came out of his shock and walked towards them with a frown.

S- Anika.

Anika broke the hug and looked at Shivaay.

A- Shivaay, he....he... Is...

Reyansh looked at Shivaay and Anika with a frown.

R- But doll, what are you doing in Shivaay's house?

Reyansh asked her with a frown.

A- I....I...

S/R- How do you know Reyansh/Shivaay?

Both of them asked her simultaneously and Anika closed her eyes to regain her courage.

A- Rey, meet my husband, Shivaay and Shivaay, meet my twin brother, Reyansh.

S/R- BROTHER/HUSBAND?

Both of them were shocked at the revelation.

The woman with Reyansh wrapped her arms around his arm to calm him down.

Anika looked at her and smiled and she hugged her.

A- It's so good to see you, Maitri bhabhi.

Maitri smiled at her.

M- I'm so happy to see you as well but I think you have some explanation to do.

Maitri told Anika and she smiled sheepishly.

A- Okay, I'll explain everything. Come.

They all settled in the living room and anika started explaining everything.

A- Shivaay, Rey and I are twins and our parents unfortunately died in a plane crash and we were sent to an orphanage. We grew up there. When we were in college, Rey got an offer from an American company. He was reluctant to leave me but I wanted to stay here where my parents live their life. Rey left for America and I was here, when I started working at your brother-in-law's company and there I met Mallika. We became best friends but she always felt a missing piece in her life which was a baby. One day, when her pregnancy test came negative even after so many treatment and doctor told her that she couldn't become a mother as her uterus is very weak, she broke down in front of me.

A tear escaped from Shivaay's eyes, on remembering his sister's pain.

A- So I decided to be a surrogate mother for them but unfortunately, they lost their lives and I lost my memory so I wasn't able to inform you, Rey. Shivaay married me for the baby but I love him and he and Vanya are my life. I'm sorry I didn't tell you.

Rey nodded with a teary smile.

Reyansh hugged her and pecked her forehead.

R- I'm sorry you went through so much, doll. I and Maitri were worried sick for you when you didn't contacted us for months. We came to India to look for you and we even found the house empty. We thought we lost you forever but destiny brought us together again.

Reyansh told her and Anika smiled.

Suddenly, they heard a loud cry of Vanya.

Anika Smiled and picked her up in her arms and Vanya started giggling.

A- Ooh! My baby wanted attention.

Anika tickled her stomach and Vanya giggled. Everyone just adored the duo.

Anika took Vanya towards Reyansh.

A- Vanya, meet your mamu Rey.

Reyansh smiled and took her in his arms and Vanya just rested her head on his chest and all went aww on them.

R- see, my little girl loves her mamu.

Reyansh exclaimed excitedly and everyone chuckled at his excitement.

Soon they had their dinner with lots of past stories and laughters. And the dinner came to an end.

It was night and Anika was making Vanya sleep in her cot and saw Shivaay standing near the window lost in his thoughts.

She went towards him and touched his shoulder. Shivaay looked at her with a jerk.

A- what happened?

Shivaay just shook his head in negative and smiled.

A- Come on, you can share it with me.

Shivaay looked at her for a while and then decided to tell her.

S- Earlier, you said that you love me?

Anika looked at him like a deer caught in headlights.

A- I.....I.... It.....ummm.....

Anika was looking at him hesitantly, trying to explain her POV.

S- I love you too.

Shivaay confessed with a smile and Anika looked at him with shock.

A- What?

S- I said i love you too.

Shivaay exclaimed and Anika smiled widely.

Anika chuckled and hugged him.

Shivaay also hugged her back.

S- so what do you think about 5 more kids?

Anika looked at him in shock.

A- What? 5? No. Do you know how much it pains? Only 1 more.

S- Okay 4 is final.

A- No. Just 2. That's enough.

S- Okay 2 more.

Anika looked at him with widened eyes.

A- What? I said 2 kids - Vanya and 1 more.

S- No. You said 2 more.

A- Shivaaaaaayyyyy.

Shivaay just chuckled and pecked her forehead. Anika also Smiled and rested her head on his shoulder and they looked at the night sky with the moon shining brightly.
