Aloha Mers! Today We'll Be Discussing My Least Favorite Topic: The War. The Start Of The War Is Mostly Just A Blur To Me, But I Guess It's Because Someone From My Pod Went Into South Pacific's Territory, And Got Into A Fight With One Of Their Trainers About How They Were Treating Animals. The Fight Got Resolved, But The South Pod Said We Killed One Of Their Other Trainers. The Trainer Was Found A Month Later In An Abandoned Cave, But The Damage Was Done: A Full Out War Was Here. Now Mers Are Dying Left And Right, And Battles Are Ending In Bloodbaths And Tears. So Far, There's No Sign Of Peace.

My Dad, The King, Met With The South King The Other Day, And They Tried To Poison His Drink. A Guard Started Coughing, And My Dad Gave Him His Drink. The Guard Fell To The, Dead Within Seconds. This Is Only One Terrible Example Of The War, And Most Other Murder Attempts Are Much Worse.

The Only Two Pods Who Have Yet To Join In On The War Are The East Arctic Pod And The West Atlantic. Everyone Else Has Already Taken A Side, Or Helped Us Both. About Seven Hundred Mermaids And Mermen Have Died Because Of This War, And I Have No Doubt More Will Come. We Are Doing Everything We Can To Bring Peace, But Every Time Things Start To Settle Down, Something Happens. 

Luckily, My Pod And I All Have Each Other, And Today While Visiting We Had A Celebration. In The Human World, It's Veterans Day, And For Mermaids, It's A Holiday Called  Viveta. It's A Holiday Celebrating The Love Mermaids Show For Each Other, And There's Singing, Dancing, And Fancy Tail Jewels! Even The Poorest People Come, And We Honor Them Like Anyone Else. The Dancing Was Amazing; I Couldn't Feel My Tail At The End! We Sang, Too. Everyone Was Laughing And Happy, And I Think We All Forgot About The War. I Just Got Home, And I'm Still Smiling.
