As I walked away I turned to Brick. He was the Omega, and had 3 sons, Storm, Cloud, and Gills. I walked over to him. " Can I go into the woods? You know im 5 moons." I pleaded. " I guess but dont cross the road, you know where that leads to." " Ok." And by then I was bounding out of the camp. I passed Stone and Luna. I wanted to be away from them. I kept running until i saw the fear stream. I came to a quick stop and slid on mud. I stared into the stream that seemed to be moving like a herd of elk. I estimated the jump, about 5 feet. I turned around to see if anyone was watching. No one was there, I at least thought shimmer would come. I backed up and did a running start. I hit the ground with a hard thump. Good thing nothing was broken. I looked at my paws. Eww! I thought. There was mud everywhere. I shuck my paws and walked deeper into the woods. I heard what sounded like thousands of pawsteps. I saw a light brown leg and then another and then what looked like a thousand legs. I then realized that those were elk. I turned around and sprinted for my life. I didn't know where i was going but hopefuly it was safe. The elk were gaining on me. I saw the path. I heard a low growl and then two wolves popped out of the bushes. It was Dread and Wind! Wind grabbed me so fast. All I could smell was redwood and flowers. I was saved, not only saved but going back home.
