I woke with a start, hunger was gnawing at my stomach. I pushed myself up on my weak paws. I yelped when I saw several wolves starring at me.A rabbit ran behind them. I had the urge to chase it so I did. I ran past them but that was my mistake, all stayed back but one. I leapt at the rabbit and got it! Pride surged through my whole body until one of them grabbed it. I grabbed the other side and tugged, IT WAS MINE! I tugged and tugged finaly the other wolf let go and walked away. I staggerd off and ate it. Energy went through my weins. I saw 3 dots moving towards me. I starred until they got closer, these were other wolves. They stooped in front of me. They were friendly I guess, One steooed forward and spoke. " Come with us its not safe out here, Im hare." He said smiling.I gulped and just nodded my head. Hare turned around and started to lead us back. A wolf about my age walked over t me gave me a friendly push. " Im splotch, whats your name?" I looked at him and my heart flutterd. " Im Olive." I said proudly, i raised my tail and head high. He just chuckled. I smiled at him. I looked at his light brown fur with a white splotch on his eye, his eyes were a hazel. I felt like i could get to know him, but he made me smile. I looked into his hazel eyes then turned my head.
