I sat with Horan, when Peppermint ran up to me. " Guess what! Sage said he likes me !" She screeched with joy. Her eyes leamed with joy. " Thats great. But are you guys mates?" I asked her gently. She nodded with joy. " He may seem shy, but he is so friendly!' I giggled. Horan nudged me, and pointed to Hare calling a meeting. " Attenion everyone, we are fighting Stone Pack today!" His howl echoed through the clearing. Mummurs passed through the group of wolves. Horan stood and howled his complaint. " What about the pups that we have to protect?!" He said gesturing to the log. Dusk, Dawns brother sat beside his mother, looking so sad. Pity pierced my heart. " Wolves will stay in camp and protect the pups and some of the older wolves. There is no need to worry." With that Horan let out a huff and sat back down. " The wolves that will be going will be Olive, Sage, Peppermint, Crisp, August," He scanned the clearing. He set his eyes on Splotch and Somme. " And Splocth and Somme." His voice echoed through the cleaing once again. The cold winds blew through our fur before he spoke again. " Now go!"

We charged out of the clearing, Horan and I step by step together. August, our Omega, lead us to our destination. I panted while I tried to talk to Horan. " I didn't know there were other packs here." With that, there were pawsteps behind us, some screeched. " Wait for me!" It was Staute. I hoped over a log gracefully. August abroptly stopped." Were here." His angry voice spoke. In front of us was a line of wolves, they starred angrily at us. " You actualy came, we thought you would chicken out." One spoke in a raspy voice. Staute ran up to my side. August voice was like a hind-leggers gun. " ATTACK!" He screeched, launching him self at a wolf. A wolf about my side was facing one of my pack members, his back turned away from me. I ran forward and launched my self at his back. I bit down on his scruff and flung him away from Staute. He hit a tree and landed with a thud. He tried to stumble up, but clearly something was broken. He lay there panting. August voice rang through te clearing of howling and screeching. " DONT KILL JUST INJURE!" He screeched. I ran away from the wolf laying at the tre and charged for one slightly bigger than me. I ran and leapt in the air. I twisted myself around and landed on his back. He fell to the ground, but turned over, pushing me to the ground. I bit his scruff, but he was one step ahead of me. He bit my back leg. I screeched and ducked and bit his neck. He growled and shoke me off. He grabbed my scruff and flund me into a pointed rock. I hit the rock and just layed there, to out of breath and weak to do anything. Something touched my shoulder. It was Shine. Don't give up, danger still lay ahead but this is not it, think about the future. You win this fight, they know to stay away. And if you lay on this stone, then you look deafeated, and this fight just started. Don't let Horan think he has lost you. Stand up and get back up there. After that she just faded away. I stumbled up, my heart pounding hard in my chest. My attacker was fighting Splotch. I stood and watched as he fought him. I starred in Horror as he killed him. Somme was behind him urging him to come help her. I ran back into the fight and screeched and I landed on a small grey and blue wolf. I kicked them in the chest and they rolled onto the ground in pain. I picked them up by their scruff and flung them down on the ground. " Never come back, you pest." I growled deeply. She scrambled up and ran away. The other pack ran off. " Goo job guys! They will think twice now."
