Hare meet me at the edge of Seasons cave. He smiled gently " That there is the younger wolves den." He said pointing with his tail to a large rock shelterd from the wind. " And that there is the prey pile." H esaid pointing to a small heap of rabbits and mice. I nodded trying to remeber everything." Go get something to eat and intrduce yourself " Hare said smiling. He gently pushed me towards the prey pile with his nose. I walked slowly to the prey pile, some wolves were starring at me. I picked up a small rabbit and padded over to a stump where i was alone. I took a small bite when i heard pawsteps coming towards me. I turned my head to see a small grey and white wolf padding over to me with a rabbit in her jaws. She sat in front of me and smiled " HI! Im Statue. Whats your name? We should be friends!" I starred at statue while she rattled off more questions. I swallows my small bite of rabbit. I gatherd up my courage and answerd some of her questions. " Imm.. Im Olive, and sure we can be friends." She smiled brightly, her Purple eyes shinging in the evening light. We spent a little longer eating and talking. " Well we should head to bed. Come on I got a spot for you." We padded over to the rock. She walked around other wolves until she got to the end of the rock, she layed down in her nest and looked at the empty nest next to her. I layed down in the nest.

I was just starting to doze off when pawsteps came stampeding in. " SEASONS! SEASONS COME QUICKLY!" One of them yelled. Wolves began stirring and getting up. Statute jumped up and i followed her. " What is it Somme?" A white wolf with a black muzzle turned towards us, her gold eyes blazing with anger. " Those hindleger dogs are back and they threatend us!" She growled. A brown and white wolf sholderd his way towards her. His green eyes restless and balzing with anger. " Its ok sis i'll take care of you! They wont dare step one paw inside our territory." He gazed down to his sister. " I dont need taken care of Horan!" She snapped back. A yellow and black wolf was talking to Seasons, who was just nodding like this was normal. " OHH! Horan Somme, this is Olive, shes new" Statue blurtted out. Somme seemed to lighten up and Horan's gazed softend, he smiled and said" Its nice to meet you. Maybe you can go on a patrol with us some day." I starred at his stuning eyes. His gaze darkend wen something nudged me. I turned my head to see Splotch. " Hey, I saved you a nest." He said smiling. " She already has a nest you gross furball!" Statute blurted out. I was amazed by Statutes courage. Statute walked me back to my nest, her pelt was still bristling with anger. They didn't seem to like splotch very much. I dont really care so whatever.
