Hollow Attack

Kim decided to turn the company of her parents into a company specified in the making and editing youtube videos. The social platform was something she could make use of to help the country and also to help herself financially. Little by little her plans worked out and she became a successful youtuber. The company grew famous and day by day the staff augmented. Kim was happy to work with different people. She sure was the boss, but she too took part in the work. She worked during the night to compensate for her absence during the day. She also worked full time during the holidays but during the weekend, she worked at her part-time job at a restaurant. She was loyal to both jobs and never missed a day nor did she take a leave, unless she was very sick. At school she kept silent and never tried to make friends nor did others try to be her friends. Some incidents happened which casted a dark shadow around her, causing people to stay away from her. She spent all her time with headphones in even during classes. The teachers respected her choice and never caused any troubles for her on that topic.

During lunchtime, and breaks, she went straight to the school's gymnasium where she played volleyball, badminton, basketball or any other games the other students were already playing. She was kind of a multisport person. She loved playing volleyball and badminton. She would be taking physical education as subject in her upper classes and worked hard for it. In the gymnasium, she turned into someone else, she yelled commands, defended her team the best she could but in the outside, she became silent even though she still protected people from bullying. Many of the victims tried to befriend her but she shook them off.

She too noticed that she was always there when the building collapsed, fires started or any incident happened which caused many deaths. She wanted to do something, to stop what was happening, to help the people but she couldn't. She felt useless but seemed to be unaffected by the deaths at the same time. From time to time, she would see something on the buildings, huge masked monsters with a hole in the place of their heart. She wondered what they were. She also saw men, wearing black kimonos fighting those monster but they always failed and died.

It was Sunday, she was tired already. She was heading towards the restaurant where she worked when she heard glass shattering right behind her. She recognized the aura. The building behind her was about to collapse, explode. She had to get out of there or she'd be injured and would be late for work. She took her stance to start running, but stopped dead when a huge black, furry armored foot stomped in front of her. She landed hard on her right foot when she had forced herself to stop and felt an acute pain in her ankle. She looked up and met the red eyes of the creature. She saw it well for once. Its glare was on her and slowly, it brought a gigantic hand towards her to grab her. Kim was frozen on the spot. She knew she had to escape but her body disobeyed. The creature was slow. From the corner of her eye, leaning against a wall was a cylindrical metal pole. She ran towards it and grabbed it. She had to fight, it was the only way to be able to pass. The pole was no sword so she had only one attempt. She had to hit the head with a tremendous strength to at least knock it out so she could flee.

The furry hand had followed her movements. She climbed on the back of its hand and ran towards the head, trying her best not to slip and fall. It brought its other hand towards her but she avoided it by jumping over it. Upon reaching the face level, she saw a red, growing ball coming out of the mouth of the monster which was directed towards her. Fearing the worse, Kim yelled and hit its cheek with a horizontal motion. She heard the crack as she saw a hole in the mask where she had hit. The red ball did not reach her but hit a building which crashed down. The creature suddenly screamed which forced Kim to cover her ears as she closed her eyes tight shut and clenched her teeth. She lost balance as she had been stepping back and fell. She uttered a surprised yell as she felt herself falling. In the sky, she saw various mouth like dark abysses forming. She stared at them, her mouth opened as she gasped at the sight of the monsters which flooded out of them. They all dashed towards her. Seeing them coming at high speed towards her, she curled herself in a ball in the air, hiding her face with her hands crossed in front of it while she closed her teary eyes shut tightly.

In a second, she felt cold as small but strong hands caught her legs and shoulder. Before she could open her eyes, she felt a sudden wind brush her skin. She then dared to open her eyes and saw a silver haired head with turquoise eyes looking up at something. Her mind was racing. She was alive. She looked down to see that he was standing on the ground but his clothes... They resembled the ones the other men who died wore but then he had a white coat on it. She frowned at him. She felt like she knew him. She then heard another shattering sound and looked at where the creature had once been along with the others. Blocks of ice crumbled down.

Her rescuer looked down towards her and that's when it struck her. Her eyes filled with tears as a smile formed on her face. He too looked at her with tenderness and shock. No words was necessary as they hugged each other sobbing. He hugged her tightly and let her cry on his shoulder as he slowly caressed her ruffled hair.
