Book Title

I think the book title is okay. I’d also like to add that most of the things regarding universe come after the first few chapters. So I won’t say that the book title wasn’t a good choice.

Book Cover

The book cover choice is good with the image of a planet/ that gave some hints of universe but it was not clear to me the purpose of the pair of eyes at the top right hand corner of the cover and the beam balance at the bottom. I also liked the tinge of red added to the book title that gave little ideas of fights and loss of people. To be more specific, death. I’d like to say that this was enough to give the readers a clear idea of the science and thriller the book offered to them.

Book Description

The description says a lot about the elements contained in the book but at the same it confused me a bit because I was introduced with many characters at once.

Plot

The main character is Alexandra who trains people who have outstanding talent and once the training is finished, she makes groups with those people to protect ordinary people from dangerous creatures. It later turns out that Alexandra betrayed people from some other land who now try to teach Alexandra a lesson.

Spelling, Punctuation, Grammar and Vocabs

There wasn’t much of spelling or grammatical errors that I noticed. There was only one place where I suggested the author a punctuation idea through my comments. The vocabulary seemed simple to understand but the writing style of the author made their usage excellent.

Writing Style, Character Development, Flow and Setting

There are a lot of characters in this book and I appreciate the author’s effort to convey the contribution of each of them in the book. The author did well here. I appreciate the way in which the author portrayed the bold character of Alexandra of Lanx, especially in the third chapter where Hannah was in the verge of being molested. The third chapter was an important one because the author had to focus on the cause of the occurrences of it, which were Hannah and Mark. And I gladly tell that the author was successful in their goal. I won’t say that the flow falls; instead, I’ll say that it is a little bit difficult to keep track of the events because the chapters constantly change point of views. I also got a pretty good idea regarding the setting due to the author’s well planned choice of words which testified how well the writing style of the author was.

Creativity and Enjoyment

I must say that the author did their every possible role to make the first chapter interesting. This is why I enjoyed the first chapter a lot. I admit the author did really great at keeping the suspense built as to why the creature was feared by the name of Alexandra.
