The Boys
The landscape had changed drastically since the time the train had started. Gliding over the tracks slowly, it came to a sudden halt. The station master blew the whistle. The train had stopped in a station, unknown to all the five girls.
All over the station, students were hastily dismounting. The girls nearly bumped into some of the passengers who were hurrying through the station. May asked a passer- by," Excuse me, but how far is Clover High?"
The boy who May had questioned, flicked his grass green hair and said," This is Clover High, Miss, may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" "Ugh," said May," stop bring so overly formal will you? You are a pain in my head. By the way, the name's May Maple." The boy made an impatient noise and strode off. He was a member of a little circle of young boys.
Suddenly a yellow mouse leapt out of one of the boy's arms. "Pikachu please come back!" shouted the boy, as he sped after the mouse. "What an idiot," snorted Misty, as she scooped the mouse up. The boy came running up to her.
The boy was around Misty's age, maybe a few months younger. He wore a contest hat, a blue jacket, brown jeans and red sneakers. But the thing that appealed to everyone about him were his brown eyes. He had a goofy grin on his face and said," Thanks for catching my Pikachu." Misty handed the mouse to the boy," My name is Ash Ketchum and I come from Pallet town. I wanna become a Pokemon master when I grow up." Misty politely introduced the four others to Ash.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group had come up to Ash. "Hey Ash," said the green haired boy ," got a girlfriend already?" Ash and Misty blushed a shade of brilliant red at the comment. "Stop being an ass Drew," said Ash. Drew smirked as Ash turned his head , embarrassed. "Umm, hello ladies, as you can see these are my friends, and my name is Cilan," said another green haired boy seeing that the boys would soon start arguing among themselves, which would not be pleasant," I am the eldest member of the group after Brock." Cilan paused. "HEY BROCK WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" He cried.
But Brock was deaf. He was busy proposing to the girls, causing them to giggle. Serena noticed a quiet boy among the group. "Hello," she said politely," is something troubling you? Why are you so quiet?" The boy looked up. He had lemon blonde hair and had spectacles. "Hello my name is Clemont," he stammered.
"Come on students," said a middle aged woman, before Serena could finish her conversation with Clemont. She ushered the students into the school building.
The girls hastily bid the boys goodbye and followed another woman into the entrance hall of Clover High.
