Serena POV

I woke up, feeling my head spinning. I slowly looked around, seeing a dark room with a barricaded windows and only one door leading in. There was a lot of garbage. I could even see sharp glass reflecting. I was about to stand up, but I felt my hands were tied behind me to the chair with someone else.

"You are awake." spoke a female voice and I turned my head to the direction, but nobody was there. "Satoshi... don't pretend." I turned my head again looking into the direction, but nothing. But what I saw were the the brown hair behind me.

"Hgrr..." Ash grunted behind me and I snapped my head around, but I accidentally hit my forehead with his. "Ouch, you ok Serena?" Ash voice calmed me down for a moment.

"Y-yeah I think I am. What about you?" I asked back.

I felt his movements and I could tell he was looking around. "Yeah I am fine, but I don't see Bonnie, Clemont or Korrina or our pokemon." his movements didn't stop. He seemed to look for something.

"What is happening Ash?"

"HE IS SATOSHI!" suddenly a female voice yelled in anger. I flinched at this suddenly. 

"Ummm sorry, it is hard for m-s these days." spoke this time the calmer voice. There were two women here.

"What do you want? I have no idea what now!" Ash yelled as he yelled into the room. I heard this time a small steps.

I looked there and from the shadows, I could make out a older girl with long purple hair and green eye, the rest of her hair covering the other. I noticed how her hair were messy and clothing torn or dirty. "I need your help Satoshi." it was the calmer one.

"H-Hrist?" I turned my head around trying to get look at Ash. "I heard you were missing..." Ash trailed off, confusing me even more.

They knew each other and both women were calling him Satoshi. 'But what is happening? Ash doesn't see her as enemy but yet she was probably the one who gassed us on the road and tied us here.'

"Yeah, yeah, I didn't know who to trust. M-M-madam would think of me as weak... Jack is too clumsy a-and I knew you would understand me.... after Alex died." 

This cought my complete focus. It was the same name as the boy I saw in Ash's nightmares.

"Is Alex the same one from your nightmares Ash?" I whispered which made Ash freeze and look at me for a moment. It looked like he forgot I was there.

"I envy you Satoshi... I couldn't be there for him... he was such a nice boy." her hair suddenly waved to other side, revealing a yellow eye. "WHY DID HE HAD TO SHOOT!"

This made me freeze even more. There were never two women with us, it was only her. But she sounded like two persons on each side. My eyes roamed to Ash, but he was conflicted and I didn't know what would it mean. Mourning? Surprise?

"But it is what I told you that time. I had to kill, yet I knew at the same time I wanted to kill him. You would do the same, wouldn't you?" she said with her calmer side and walked closer. I looked at Ash, awaiting for him to answer.

For the entire time I knew Ash, he was kind, friendly. He would help anyone that need it. When I needed to be comforted, he would be there. When we were in danger, he would come in running, do his best. But then there was his other side, when he would face an evil. When he saved me from man that day with Miette, he punched the man until I stopped him and I still wonder if he would ever stop if I didn't stop him. And Slash was someone completely different and yet same as Ash.

"Don't be so quiet Satoshi. If it is that you don't want her to hear, I am pretty sure she wants to hear it. Am I right?" this was first time she spoke to me directly without yelling. When I looked into her eye, I could see it would shake but her yellow eye was set on me. "You like to know things about Satoshi? I am sure you would like to even know about how we know each other."

I didn't know if to answer or not. But even before I could answer, she started to hold her face. I then noticed that the ropes around my arms weren't that tight anymore. Ash started to grunt as well.

"He is in there!" Hrist yelled, looking at Ash. I turned my eyes, seeing Ash had close eyes and seemed like he was completely out. 

"Hey, hey Satoshi, don't pass out." Hrist spoke again and I saw her green eye now looking at him, but what surprised me was that it seemed to glow more. I took all the courage I had and asked the one question.

"Why do you call him Satoshi?" I asked and her green eye was covered by hair and her yellow eye looked at me.

"Because that is the only way I know him. Because that is the person which can do anything if let's it sides do the job. He was the one for Alex, Satoshi was the one to help us even if he didn't want to. Madam told me Satoshi was the original and then Ash came after and then many after. Like me. HAHAHAHA" She started to hysterically laugh which made me have goosebumps. "Y-you aren't first either for sure. You are another attempt to copy the original one. The copy that could be better or worse. Even I don't know if I am improvement to my original or not. I mean HAHA. The original is either nonexistent or had her fight already. His, Satoshi's, is still HAHAHAHA." I felt finally Ash moving behind me. I turned my head and his eyes were now glowing between his brown and purple. 

Hrist pulled out a knife and pressed it against my throat. My breath came to hald as I watch how her eye was looking between us. "Hrist, DON'T!" Ash yelled, but his voice sounded different. The one I heard but also didn't.

Hrist flipped her hair to show only her yellow eye. "This is not for her." she said with strong voice before cuttting her hand without a flinch. A flesh blood dropped from her hand, some of it landing on ground, some of it dropped on me. I turned my head away for a moment not to smell the blood, but suddenly it stopped. I looked back at her hand and to my surprise, it was completely healed.

"Hrist, what did you do to yourself?" Ash asked with voice of disbelief.

"I-I..." This seemed to shock Hrist as she stepped back. "I was suppose to join them, but..." Hrist let out huff of frustration. She started to rub through her hair. "W-what?I-I can't remember what happened that day. He-he said we would be free. He said to let our right sides to come out. I-I" she spoke with her hair behind before letting out a shriek on which Ash let out his own. 

And then suddenly, multiple things happened. But before that, she spoke. "How long did you get out of those ropes Satoshi?" And then the door exploded, two Lucarios came running in with Pikachu and our friend behind them

A few minutes earlier

No POV

Lucario felt the sudden waves of pain. Lucario finally got out of its pokeball, seeing the that he was closed in the dark area. A muffled voices were heard as his eyes snapped to darkness. He closed his eyes and tried to see them with aura, but when he tried it, he was blinded by sheer amount of aura there was around them. Lucario's eyes noticed the slight light through the barricaded window.

Lucario torn the wood planks and he finally Bonnie, Clemont and Korrina tied down together with their mouths covered with cloths. He tore away the ropes with cloths.

As they all started to argue between each other about what happened, Lucario felt another wave of pain hitting him. His eyes turned toward the closed door.

As Lucario ignored other, Korrina peaked outside the barricaded window seeing other buildings. "We are in the city. But it looks like we are in some kind of abonded district. Even no people on street. I would say we are on sixth floor." Korrina's pokeball opened and her Lucario came out, but it immediately dropped to its knees. "Lucario, what is wrong with you?" she asked quickly, but then she noticed Ash's Lucario holding against the wall.

Both Lucario's exchanged looks before aiming both their fists at the only door, sending aura spheres that even bigger before colliding. Pikachu was right next to them and the humans behind them.

"DON'T!" all of them heards Ash's scream and saw the last door at the end of corridor. Ash's Lucario added to the speed finally reaching the door.

Presence

Both Lucario aimed their spheres at the unknown woman. But when it got close she reached out both of her hands and stopped both spheres without destroying them. Her hair stood up revealing both green and yellow eye. She started to absorb both attacks, but while the right absorbed it easily, the left threw away away the orb, sending at Korrina's Lucario. Korrina's Lucario didn't expect this attack as it made hit sending Lucario into wall right next to Korrina.

The right side of Hrist started to emit energy and this seemed to make Hrist panic. Then her eyes noticed Ash who located his thumbs back and was ready to grab her, but she waved her hand to defend. But unexpectedly, she released blue wave. Ash was send flying toward the window.

And in that moment, it seemed like time slowed down. Korrina was looking at her Lucario, Serena and Bonnie screamed as Ash would be aiming for the fall from six floors. Hrist would look at it with pure horor. The only one moving was Clamont, who in just a moment jumped and pulled Ash out of the way toward window.

As Ash felt how they landed on ground, he heard a sudden grasp for breath. He looked behind himself and his eyes were pure of terror. Clemont saved him from hitting the window, but in the process, they landed in garbage. And now, from Clemont's chest was sticking out a sharp metal pipe.

'Let me out! Let me do it!' Ash heard the words in his  and in that moment, it sounded like the most common thing he could hear. And in that moment, he stood up and started to sprint toward Hrist.

As they fought, Bonnie rushed to her brother with tears. "Clemont!" she screamed as she grabbed her brother who was coughing out blood. Korrina and Serena were quickly beside them, pressing at the open wound.

"You idiot." Korrina muttered as she reached inside her bag for something to use.

"But I at least Ash isn't dead." Clemont muttered as his eyes were getting heavy.

"Don't you dare close those eyes on us brother. You will get through it." Bonnie screamed, all of them ignoring the fight that was happening.

Hrist's hair would fall down on, only revealing her yellow eyes full of anger. She would start to rush at Ash with high speed. "STAY DOWN! AND PUT HIM BACK!" right on call, Ash would raise his head only to reveal purple swirling eyes looking at her. She would with her right hand release another wave. Ash's body would slide down on the ground, letting the wave hit the wall that would spread and shatter most of the windows. Girls covered themselves from the glass.

Slash let out yell as he swang his fist at her, but she quickly deflected it. She started to take a deep breath and punch forward with her right fist in high speed. Slash tried to dodge to side, but still received a punch into his ribs. Slash let out cough before attacking with leg. Hrist put her arms in cross to defend her stomach.

"You were causing me a great headaches." Slash said as his fist was stopped by Hrist's hand. Slash used his other hand, but it was blocked again.

"You are not the one I need!" Hrist yelled as she started to bit her bottom lip with rage. Slash leaned back before giving a strong headbutt to Hrist. They both then fell down on their backs, none of them moving. Thier foreheads for a moment glowing. Serena was about to run to Ash, but Korrina stopped her Ash stood up and ran right at  Hrist grabbing her around throat in lock.

"Calm down HRIST!" Ash's voice spoke yelled through the room as Hrist was starting to fight again in his grab. Ash's eyes noticed his friends, seeing Serena was despair to help. "STAY BA-"

"Please..." Ash words were cut off by Hrist's quiet voice. "Please Satoshi." he felt a strong wave hitting him almost making him loose his hold. "Please end this. I-I can't, I don't know for how long can I hold it."

"No, I am not Hrist. Fight it!" Ash yelled as he held her stronger, but he felt how he was loosing his hold.

"Please. Otherwise..." her eyes were full of tears as her hand lifted up, creating another sphere aiming it toward the group. "P-Please Satoshi. I c-can't!" she screamed.

Ash looked as Serena looking at him with look that she would help, Clemont who was bleeding hard and Bonnie who was crying next to him. He saw how Korrina was conflicted about what to do. And now, Hrist was loosing control again and she saw only one option.

"I-I will not." Ash stuttered, but used her right leg to hit Ash's. He ignored it once again, but Hrist's deep breaths made him even more conflicted. 

"DO IT!" Hrist's loud voice was followed with Ash roar as he turned her head in fast motion with heard *crack*. The sphere disappeared and the energy in her eyes was going out. Hrist's body fell next to Ash a small smile on her face. "Hey Alex." her words were heard to Ash's ears.

The room fell in silence as Hrist lied down on the ground. Serena's eyes were shaking with shock as well as others. Ash looked at her, nobody able to see Ash's face. Ash slowly lifted himself up still looking down. Clemont's cough got Korrina's attention again and she rushed to him. Serena still watched Ash, her eyes noticing the a few tears coming down on the ground. He wiped them away before running toward Clemont.

"Clemont?" Korrina spoke to him and he gave her a weak respond with looking back.

"We need to get him to the hospital." Serena said with a tear as she looked at her friend bleeding.

"We are in completely abandoned part of the town. We won't reach there in time. We need to treat him here." Korrina said as she pressed the wound.

As Ash kneeled down, he heard the silent drop from his pocket. He noticed it was his wallet and his eyes widened. He quickly reached out for it and pulling out the blank card. He tapped it against his forehead. But nothing happened.

His hope and mind started to loose. Clemont was bleeding right in front of him with almost no hope making it. His eyes then turned to Hrist's lifeless body that still had the small smile.

'No. NO! Not like this! Not this way!' Ash screamed in his mind before aggressively tapping the card again to his head. He leaned his head back, seeing nothing. He had no idea what to do.

But then, the card started to glow with blue color with the familiar symbol and after that showing the map with marked location. Ash's eyes widened with hope as he saw himself and the location close by.

Ash grabbed his jacket before tearing the sleeve. "Girls step back." he said, Korrina and Serena made a way for him. Ash still saw Bonnie holding him tight. "Bonnie, I have a way to save him. But I need you to step back." Bonnie's tearing eyes met Ash's before nodding. He looked down at Clemont who gave him a weak smile. He looked behind his back seeing that the rest of the pipe was still out. He then noticed Clemont had his pokeballs poking out of his bag. 

He opened the pokeball, revealing Frogadier. Frogadier noticed the entire situation and had multiple questions for Pikachu and Lucarion, but Ash's stopped him. "Frogadier, I need you to use Cut to shorten this pipe from Clemont." Frogadier's eyes looked wide at bleeding Clemont but quickly created the glowing blade and cut the pipe. Ash tied his torn off sleeves around Clemont before picking him up, hearing his grunts. "Sorry Clemont." 

Ash then looked at Korrina and gave her the glowing card. "What's this?"

"I need you to lead us there. No more questions now." Ash said as he made his way toward the door. The three girls looked between each other before grabbing their things and rushing right behind Ash. Both Lucario's ran next to each other while Pikachu leaped on Serena's shoulder.

They finally made it to barricaded door, but they quickly flew open from exlposion made by Frogadier and both Lucarios.

"Ok. It is pointing this way." Korrina pointed toward a narrow streets and then they all made their way toward what they believe would save Clemont.
