"Wow, this one is fried too." Clemont said, as he looked at his own machine. The group returned back to the Lumiose city. After they had seen Ash's battle, Clemont wanted to come back to Lumiose city to be able get some information about so call The Bluetning. As they got back to the Lumiose city, Clemont noticed, how many of his Clemontic Showers fried or damaged. "It has exactly same pattern as the other ones." 

"Do you think it is because of Bluetning?" Ash asked, as he looked at the machine.

"I am not entirely sure, if it was suppose to be the same electricity that we saw last time, I think they would exploded. These one just fried and what people say, there is none pokemon ever found injured. I think I will have to visit an old friend to get more information." Clemont said, as he stood up. Everyone nodded and as they all started to follow Clemont, Ash's pokedex vibrated, making Ash stop and Pikachu look at him.

"Guys I have someone I have to call to." Ash spoke, Pikachu looked at him worriedly, it was another check time.

"Who do you have to call to?" Bonnie asked as they turned to him confused.

"Just someone I need to talk to. We will meet at Prism tower later." Ash spoke as he was ready to walk away.

"We-we can come with you Ash, I don't think we really need to hurry anywhere." Serena said, but Ash shook with his head.

"No, go. At least we will have it done. You know what? I can try to check on the first fried shower. Clemont don't you happen to know where it is?" Ash asked, almost rejecting anyone to come with him. Clemont confused looked at all of them, but it was something on Ash he also noticed. His sometimes disappearance and needed calls, but he never said anything.

"I don't know, but if I am lucky-" Clemont walked to side of his machine and put aside board to reveal a computer. "Every shower has tracking system of other showers. They show a date of last use to all in Lumiose city. If this pc-aah, I am lucky it isn't. Oh even more lucky, the last one used is close to professor Sycamore's lab and you know where it is."

"Yup I know that. Sorry to leave you like this guys, but we will see each other at Pokemon center. See ya." and before anyone could say anything, Ash and Pikachu were gone.

"Do any of you know, who he is always calling to?" Serena askeda little angry about Ash keeping secrets.

"I don't know, he always tell me that he calls to someone he knows." Clemont replied with scratching behind his head as theyy continued their way.

"He only told me that it is someone from Unova." 

"Oh, he told me it was some professor from Unova." Bonnie's words made Serena surprised and she turned to Bonnie.

"When did he told you that?" Serena asked with hopes for more information.

"It is some time. I think when we were in Cyllage city. I came to him that day with we having lunch, when he suddenly stopped his call. I thought he was talking with someone like girlfriend." this made Serena's emotion to jump for a moment, but it wasn't for long. "So I asked, but he wouldn't tell and after I said what I thought, he said it was some professor from Unova. I wanted to know more, but he walked away that time with words to have a lunch." Bonnie's words made no sence.

"I think we shouldn't talk about it. If it something private for Ash or something he doesn't want to talk about, we shouldn't push him into it. After all, he would tell us if it wasn't something like this." Clemont in a way ended this conversation and continued to walk. Bonnie agreed, but Serena had conflict within. She already knew Ash sometimes wouldn't tell about some things like his father until she somehow made him that time with a deal.

Meanwhile Ash arrived to pokemon center and went straight to computer, dialling remembered number. On other side of he screen was person in shining silver suit, which was covered with same material but big plastic glass for eye view, but this whole suit was partly burned.

"Oh Ash." person from suit spoke, it was a woman voice and after a few struggles, she finally removed the mask to reveal a woman around 18s with long brown hair with a few blond strands of hair and slightly natural tanned skin. She had diamond shaped face with eyes between blue and green with small nose and lips. To Ash's surprise, she had smile this time in this call. "I was just checking on him."

"Hi, how is he doing Linda?" Ash asked with the exect same question.

"He is doing better than ever Ash. We are even slowly reducing sedatives." this made Ash's eyes widen with horror.

"It is too dangerous Linda, he is st-" but Ash got cut off.

"That is the thing Ash, Emboar is no longer overfused or that is what we think. He is no longer using fire attacks whenever he is awake," this made Ash's eyes widen, after almost two years, there was a progress. "But-" and here it was, exactly what he was expecting, 'but'.

"What?" 

"You see Ash, as Emboar's progress isn't normal, he also doesn't react to any of our attempts to communicate and is almost every time acting like wild. There are some times he isn't acting like this, but it only happens whenever we show your picture to him. That is only time we can get a situation to have some way to check on him, but it isn't enough and so we were speculating, that if his actual condition would get better, we would like to have you here." Ash was without his words, something got better, but he also got worse. "And yes I know you are in Kalos right now, but we believe it would help."

"I will do whatever is needed Linda, but I don't want you to push it. I know Emboar, he wouldn't hurt anyone." this made Linda to frown and look away.

"That- that is another thing what professor wanted me to tell you. You-" Lindastopped for a momnet and looked back at Ash. "I think you should prepare that Emboar may be the same pokemon you caught, but... argh...." she paused and continued. "The body and spirit might be not the same from the one you had."

Ash looked at the monitor, frozen and not any idea how to react. When he thought things could have got better after that incident, it appeared that he was totally wrong. It was he was told. It would change his entire life after that.

"Ash, I know I don't know you a lot, but I think you should consider to talk someone about it like those friends you travel with. Something like this isn't good to keep to yourself." Linda's voice broke Ash back from the thoughts.

"Yeah... yeah, thanks is it everything?"

"Umm yeah, it is."

"Ok thanks, good luck... Linda" Ash said, showing to Linda that this wasn't easy for him.

"You too Ash and remember it. Anyway, we will write you again when we will have some new information. Bye!" Linda ended call with smile and then the screen went black. Ash sat in th small chair and held both of his hands on over face. Pikachu looked at him with missery. This was probably the worst they both heard. To ad even more, Ash's pokeball opened to reveal Lucario. He was looking at both of them confused, he couldn't see anything from Ash's face, but he was griefing, yet he didn't know for what, Pikachu kept him short from what he wanted to know.

Ash finally stood up, his face stone, that was everything he could show. "I need some time alone please." Ash walked out of pokemon center without saying, his bag or turning around to look at his pokemon. Pikachu had his ears to his body sadly. Lucario turned to him starting to get angry.

After this, both Ash's pokemon looked at each and started to argue loudly. One defending, one being angry, sad. Many people started to watch how both pokemon were shouting at each other.

Ash POV

 'When I finally think about everything starting to look good, world throw me another obstacle, another challenge.' 

'But he is doing better.' small voice inside my head spoke.

'But for how long and Linda said he is going crazy and mad.'

'Guess thanks to who' another small voice spoke inside my head.

'Lucario and Frogadier are trying to know what happened, what am I suppose to do?' Ash finally arrived to the first shower and this one was even more fried and than others. As Ash walked around it to back of the machine, he noticed two different claw marks. One bigger than other and it looked they were almost touching each other to hit. As he slided the hand over the marks, a sudden, but familiar feeling.

'Maybe tell them?'

'No that is a bad idea.'

'But they are already knowing something. Frogadier's defending others on camp? He did the exact same thing. Just another reminder of that moment, how I failed.'

'Blame yourself, no better, blame Arceus. After all, you are suppose to be Chosen one, the one to bring balance and have challanges. If you are Chosen one, wouldn't he try to do anything about what you are coming through? Heal Emboar or bring death back to live? No, he ignores you and why wouldn't he, you are useless, weak and only bring troubles. But we are the same.' This time, it wasn't my mind voices, it was deep voice and I turned around only to find dark shadow and captured in many tapes. I struggled, but the darkness took me in and I couldn't even scream for help.

No POV

"So all of the cameras got fried also?" Clemont asked as they were all inside facility.

"I am afraid all were. We had to replace them after they all fried. We have made new showers to replace them." Clemont's friend replied. He was thinner than Clemont and wore the same round glasses as Clemont. He opened the folders and it revealed one video with date and location. "But before all cameras fried, this camera was at the first fried shower and we found something we believe was responsible for all those electrical malfunctions. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything what could lead to it. All we know that it was some pokemon.

Video opened. It showed dark street in rain with only slightly lights from lamps or shower. Suddenly, from above jumped a creature. It was furry, but covered in mud and it had wild fur. It had sharp claws on higher limbs. It limped to the shower and fell into the shower with small thud. The shower automatically turned on, sending out faints jolts of electricity into the pokemon. The pokemon let out roar and suddenly sending out blue lightning in all directions. One slightly hit the camera, making it loose connection most of the time. In one moment, the shower was ok, next moment it was smoking and in front of the shower stood to figures. The blue lightning pokemon and standing against  another pokemon. It stood on four feet with black-blue spiky fur and long tail. The sound was now a lot of jammed, only to hear jamming roars. In one moments, then the video freezed, after a few seconds, there was only the four feet pokemon and the machine was even more damaged, pokemon and machine letting out a few blue sparks, and the video freezed again and this time, no pokemon was left behind.

"The first pokemon, we don't know which one is probably didn't expect the electricity to be turn on and after the electric wave, which probably made the wild pokemon come to look at it. We believe, that this wild pokemon is also the one, who is right now travelling a lot around our electric perimeter. But these past days, it hasn't showed up a lot. We believe it may got hurt during the clash with the other pokemon, but those are just theories." 

"Thanks Hugo. Can I try to use your lab for a second? I want to try something." Clemont said, as he was thinking about what it could be.

"For sure Clemont. You know where to go." Clemont chuckled and both walked to side room with many devices.

"Girls, you might want to go do something else. It is gonna take some time to make what I want." Clemont closed the door and both girls looked at each.

"That would be nice. How about we go look for some clothings?" Bonnie suggested, but Serena had other thoughts.

"Hey, could we go look on Ash in Pokemon center? I have a feeling that we should go look on him." Serena said, as she looked to exit. Bonnie knew what she was thinking about.

"Maybe Clemont is right Serena, we shouldn't investigate him like this Serena." Bonnie recommended, but Serena shook with her head.

"You know there is something with him, I see it everytime how you face when I think about Ash hiding something and I know you want know what is with him, right?"

"Yeah I do Serena, but I have a feeling Ash that if Ash wanted us to know, he would say it."

"Would he? After all, he only tells us stories, if someone mention him in some adventures or other things."

"And what if the thing about who he is calling to is something he does not want to tell. What if it is something he is feeling bad about? Yes I notice also those faces he made sometimes like when we first met. He just freeze his face, hide his eyes by any chance. And I am gonna tell you this and I think you know it too. Something happened with Ash and it has something to do with Unova." both girls walked on the streets, only a few blocks away from pokemon center.

"See, he doesn't tell us everything."

"You don't too Serena." this made Serena confuse and turn to Bonnie.

"What do you mean? We talk about everything."

Bonnie on this paused for a moment and bit her lower lip. "And about Calem?" these words made Serena to froze in her tracks. "And don't deny it. You did not talk about him or mentioned him since camp."

"Y-you want to know about him?" Serena asked nervously.

"Of course I do. You know everything about me. I want to know everything about you and I know you don't feel good to talk about him probably, but best way to feel better about it is to talk about it." this made Serena to think, but both of them had to stop, when they noticed Pikachu and Lucario standing outside with Wigglytuff tapping its foot. As both of them arrived, Pikachu jumped up happily on Serena's shoulder on which Wigglytuff walked inside. Both girls looked at each other confused and after that on both pokemon. They seemed to have a fight.

As both girls entered, Wigglytuff was coming to nurse Joy behind counter and after she noticed Wigglytuff and both pokemon with girls, she sighed. "Thank Arceus, you can take care of your pokemon. I am sorry, but they were a really loud and were scaring people so I asked Wigglytuff to take them out until their trainers are back. You are here so I would like to ask you to make sure this doesn't happen again."

"Oh, we are sorry, but we are just friends with their trainer." Serena said as she looked upset at both pokemon.

"Well, I hope you can tell to their trainer. I am gonna let everything else to you. Just try to make them not to scare people again. Have a good day." nurse Joy bowed and walked away. Serena and Bonnie looked at Pikachu and Lucario. Pikachu scratched behind his ear and Lucario had his eyes closed.

Meanwhile, Clemont held in his hands small box with two small antennas and in the middle of the box was screen with many indicators and numbers. As he looked at it, in his mind was repeating the video. Now they knew it was pokemon that they saw, it was jst about which one. There were only few pokemon having blue lighting and none of them were capable to travel this fast, but Clemont's mind was also on that wild pokemon. He noticed the blue sparks coming out of its fur. That meant it had probably absorbed some of the electricity.

"Ok Hugo, I have it done. I am gonna try something." Clemont said as he walked out of the room.

"Electricity detector? What do you hope to find with it?" 

"This is special one. These past months, I encountered some stronger readings from electric attacks that I have never seen before. I believe if I could find the wild pokemon, I would be able some informations."

"Oh yeah, but be careful, it does not like people to come around." Hugo warned, when another man ran in spoke about a new informations. Clemont left them as he walked through streets, he thought about possibilities, one particular. Ash saved Zeraora from somewhere what he can't still think of what could be and after a month, a strange lighting, traveling around Kalos with speed of sound and traveling over water. 

His thoughts were interrupted, when his device started to read higher percents of electricity in air. He was right next to fried machine Ash was suppose to be, but he wasn't here, which meant that he was here already probably.

Clemont pointed his machine around, but the highest reading came from ground, more precisely from cover over canalization. Clemont's robotic arm shot out from his bag and to cover. Clemont looked down to the sewer, it didn't smell nice, but the wires were down there and that wild pokemon too. So he slowly climbed down on ladder down and closed cover behind.

When Clemont's light pulled out, it showed a long tunnel with pipes and wires around. He turned around to see where his next would lead and after his machine started to show higher readings in one way, he followed it. After a few minutes of walking, he stepped on something that cracked which made him startle. He looked down to see center from apple. He looked around to see more of leftovers. As he look further to tunnel to notice head poking out. Clemont recognized it was Helioptile, but it has hidden the head. Clemont slowly walked to the corner to back away for a moment to see many pokemon letting out sparks.

There were many electric pokemon. And all of them were ready to attack. Clemont lifted his hands up. Some pokemon stopped charging attack, when Clemont noticed why they were on guard. There was bigger pokemon. It had blue and black fur covered most of its body. Its ears, face, hind paws, and front half of its body were blue, while its hindquarters were black. 

Clemont remembered this pokemon. It was Luxio, but it was lying on the floor, heavily breathing with sweat all around its body which were follow by blue sparks. Clemont slowly walked closer, but all pokemon let out electric attacks on the ground to block Clemonts way. This noise made Luxio to open its eyes to see a figure standing there, but his eyes were too weak to see anything.

Clemont put down his bag slowly not to startle. They were protecting pokemon, which gym leader assumed was that wild pokemon. As he had his bag almost down, he noticed his machine, it had crazy high numbers, even for many of these pokemon. It was that blue electricity from Luxio. 

"Luxio is paralyzed with electricity that doesn't belong to its body. I can try to help him, no I can help him."  Clemont said, as he pulled out box with berries.

Flashback

"Why are you giving me this?" Clemont asked as he looked down on the box with berries.

"You know, you heal a lot of pokemon when I have battles or we find injured and I thought it would useful to have a berries. In some situations berries works better than medicine." Ash said as they were packing bags from summer camp. "Also some of them are tasty." Ash grinned and Clemont looked at the berries.

Presence

"This might help." he took out red round berry. "It is Cheri berry, it could help." All of the pokemon looked at each uncertainly, but stepped aside. Clemont slowly walked to the Luxio as he tried to lift up the head, it sent jolt of electricity making Clemont flinch. 'It is really aggressive electricity that it absorbed.'  Clemont thought as he pulled out his gloves and put them on. Luxio felt how something was lifting its head up. He looked up, but it was still blurry but heard words. "Eat this, it should help you." 

Luxio opened its mouth and felt how a berry was in and started to eat it. He felt how the effects in the body started. Spark pokemon tried to stand up, but the pain hit again , making Luxio to let out a painful growl and felt back down on back. Luxio looked up to see a hint of the face and felt how he knew that person.

"It is not just a paralysis." Clemont looked at the machine as he ran it over many parts of Luxio, the machine almost overloaded by this. "It is the worse thing I thought. You absorbed that eletricity last time you fought." Luxio was weak to hear, but he nodded. "I might know how to change this." Clemont reached into his bag to get out many wires with medical stickers and a small cylindrical tank. "I will try to pull it out of you, but it will probably hurt. There is a slight problem. I need to know where is the right center of the source."

A Mareep came near and used its tail to glow on Luxio's fur, revealing a claw mark. It bleeded and Clemont could see more sparks. He placed the stickers to the wound and placed the tank on floor. After that, he pulled out a small tablet from his bag and was prepared to start it. He looked at the hurt pokemon only to see it looking back at him. His body was tried, but his eyes were now watching through Clemonts and Clemont felt how this was a familiar situation he faced young. Luxio was giving a permission.

Clemont pressed the starting button and Luxio started to spark even more, letting out a few grunts and after that he made a loud roar, which made Clemont to quickly press his hands on Luxio paws, feeling how pokemon was starting to drew out its claws. Clemont ignored the pain as he watched the pokemon starting to slowly calm down and the dark tunnel filled a blue light. Luxio collapsed with last look on person that has left him many years ago now again saving him.

Clemont turned around to look at the pokemon around and after that at the tank, that was letting out a strong blue light. As he was thinking about what to do next, he noticed something that made his eyes widen and after that a new steps were heard in tunnel.

"So he left?" Bonnie asked as both of them sat at the pokemon center waiting for Ash or Clemont to return. For an hour, both of them were talking only about.

"Well yeah, we both broke up anyway and I did not want fo take his offer." Serena felt after telling about her failed relationship, how it made more easily talk about it.

"But to travel with Ash you couldn't turn that down." Bonnie's comment made Serena to madly blush. "Alright, lets keep this between us and you Pikachu." Bonnie grinned and Serena smiled as she looked down to see Pikachu resting on her lap but hearing his name made him to let out quiet "Pika."

Lucario on other stood next to the door leading out, for the whole time they were talking, he was silent and trying to reach to his trainer. He couldn't feel anything coming from his trainer, not even a hint of emotion.

The door opened finally revealing Clemont coming in with Luxio in his arm. "Nurse Joy!" he yelled and Wigglytuff ran in with carriage.

"Mr. Citron, what happened to this Luxio?" Nurse Joy quickly ran to him.

"This Luxio got overcharged with electricity and has a bleeding on its side. It needs medical help." Nurse Joy looked at the Luxio.

"I am gonna take of him, you-" Joy almost walked with carriage, but Clemont spoke before that.

"I am coming with you nurse Joy, trust me." nurse Joy nodded and Clemont walked behind, girls quickly came to him.

"Clemont what happened." Bonnie asked as she watched Clemont follow nurse Joy.

"I am going to explain you everything later, I need to go." and with this, Clemont disappeared. Both girls looked at each worried, but Serena grew even more worried, because Ash qas still nowhere to be seen.

An hour later

"Yo-" Bonnie was about to ask, when Clemont walked out of the hall he walked in before. He looked at them all with smile. Pikachu and Lucario both seemed to be fine and Serena with Bonnie were sitting on couch with Fennekin on Serena's lap. Clemont had on his face a big smile and pokeball in his hand.

"So what exactly happened?"  Bonnie asked, when doors opened and Clembot walked in. 

"Sir I delivered the items you asked me to, but professor Hever said he needs to call you about it." 

"Ok Clembot, we are gonna come soon, go back to gym." Clemont said as he pointed to exit. Clembot walked away with loud steps, getting attention from surroundings, but people didn't look surprised.

"Wait Clement, have you seen Ash anywhere? He hasn't come back yet." Serena asked on the same question that ran in her head for entire time.

"No I haven't, I can try cameras-" Clemont thought about way to help as he also thought about the same thing.

"Cameras for what?" a voice spoke through hall, making everyone to turn around. Ash stood there with raised eyebrow. He walked to them to notice Clemont's pokeball. "What is in that pokeball?"

"Oh this? This is someone I told you about Ash." Clemont smiled as he revealed captured Luxio and started to talk about everything. As he talked, Serena couldn't help but to look at Ash. He seemed completely fine, but she noticed a little bit of red in his eyes. Perhaps he cried, but he seemed too cool about it and he never said anything about what happened.

After that, everyone went to gym to sleep over there. As they waited there Clemont was calling to Hugo, thinking about what happened in pokemon center.

Flashback

Luxio slowly opened his eyes, he was lying on soft surface and many lights were shining into his eyes. He felt a few stickers. Luxio felt the new energy he was missing for a few days and started to lift up, but was pressed down by pair of hands.

"You should rest Luxio." someone spoke from beside and Luxio looked up to see the same person he remembered. He growled at him and Clemont closed his eyes and nodded. "I am so sorry Luxio. I-I never wanted to make you feel like I left you." Clemont said as he started to slowly let ears down. "I thought it was a misunderstanding, you think it was me betraying and I probably did. I did betray you and I shouldn't have done it. I should have come there, I should have try to find you, but I felt hurt too Luxio because I hurt you." Clemont tears were flowing down his face as he looked down on paw. On bottom of front paw was a birthmark that looked like a small lightning, it had from birth. "I know what I did and I ask you to forgive me Luxio let me show you, that I am never going to hurt you again." Clemont final words ended as he looked into Luxio eyes. Luxio had a small tear in his eyes, but nodded and had small smile.

Presence

Clemont sat quietly in his room with many machines and was only waiting for the phone call he was doing to start. He looked to his side to see Luxio in a big machine being slowly charged with electricity, which was suppose to help and be able next day feel normally. 

Screen lit up to reveal Hugo waiting there with mixed reaction. "Clemont I am very happy to talk with you. There is a lot of things I need to tell you and ask you." this made Clemont's eyebrow rise.

"So talk, I have enough time."

Hugo took the camera and walked. "So you know how Clembot brought us everything, but I am gonna ask about that one thing. Anyway, this!" Hugo aimed camera right at the tube with blue lightning inside. "We counted the amount of energy this produces is MASSIVE."

This made older sibling more surprise. "How much it can power?"

Hugo clapped his hands and looked kinda excited. "Well... like powering Lumiose city for two days and even more?" this information made Clemont almost fall of chair.

"What?!" yelled in whisper.

"I know right? And the craziest thing is, this electricity has no similar DNA to any known pokemon in this world, whatever that pokemon did this is totally new thing! Imagine trying to create this type of energy, it could help us to create a new things we were not able because of low source of electricity."

As Hugo continued, Clemont had thoughts about different things than future. 'Any pokemon in this world, what if some that is not from our world?'

"-but here comes the problem." Hugo's words broke Clemont from his thoughts.

"What is the problem."

"This electricity, it is, how do I say it? It is too wild. The reason why Luxio you found in it couldn't handle it. This electricity changes almost everytime, it makes so big spikes from time to time that if that Luxio would hold for longer time, it would have killed it. Whatever pokemon is holding this electricity is either also dying and is trying to release the electricity by running around Kalos or-" Hugo paused as he thought it would make sense.

"Or what?"

"Or this pokemon is the most powerful electric type in history we ever met. But that is just speculation. We are not gonna test it on any pokemon and we have no idea if any legendary pokemon like Zapdos would handle this, because I believe they could, but we have no way to test it."

"That is true."

"Oh and yeah Clemont, what am I suppose to do with this?" Hugo pulled out test tube with blood inside it. 

"Oh yeah, I need you to take it to lab H."

"Laboratory H? What for, you need a DNA test or what?"

"Kinda and I would also appreciate if you could send me sample of MR? I am starting to work on something and if I could do it, it would be something amazing."

"Wow, ok, I am gonna sent you, it should be there tomorrow morning but I must say. You are gone for three months and comeback with this everything. Boy you surprise me."

Clemont chuckled "Yeah well, someone does surprise me too. I gotta go, bye." and with Hugo's farewell, Clemont stood up and walked to bed.

As he was slowly coming to room where Ash was, Ash was awake, looking into mirror with confuse. He had a new scar on his side. Pikachu as well looked at it, but none of them knew from what it was and so both of them laid down on bed and fell into sleep.

'Remember, the place, remember the time and we will make sure none of this ever happened.'
