I am happy for Pokemon Journeys episode 25 (or Pokemon sword and shield episode 25, if you want it by this name), because there is so much awesome scenes, so I am happy I can use this picture. Also I wanted to say, that I was planning to use similar way, how Ash meet up with Korrina, but episode was faster, so I can say that, I had the idea, but no one will believe me.  :D

"Again, how long it is to the Shalour city?" Ash asked as he and others went through a small valley.

"It will be over a month, probably over two months. It's about if we will somehow slow down, which will probably happen." Serena told to others, while looking into her tablet. 

"Nice and there is waiting my third badge." Ash shouted and fist pumped up. Everyone laughed at Ash energy and continued their way to the next city. As they continued, Ash suddendly felt how something just flew through them as a energy so he stopped. 

"Something wrong Ash?" Clemont asked Ash. Ash looked around, hoping he would see, what was that and he wasn't alone. Ash's pokeball opened amd revealed Riolu looking directly behind them. 

"So you sence it too?" Ash asked with new smile and Riolu nodded and on his apeared face with full of determation. 

"What is it Ash? What are you sencing?" Bonnie asked with curiosity and looked around them, hoping to see, what they were talking about. 

"This." Ash said pointing to the forest and with those words, from forest next to them could be heard cracking of branches and rustling. 

"My final win!" they all heard behind and them. They turned around to see someone in white clothing coming to them in big speed. When person was almost to them, from forest jumped out pokemon of human size with blue and black body, with beige fur on the chest and spikes on paws and on one glowe with stone. Person made few circles around before stopped, showing girl with blond hair, that were inside helmet except those, who were in big pony tail. She had roller-skate on which she was energetically riding. She wore sport dress in white color with red parts and on her hands glowes. On glowes was placed shininh stone.

"Rar!" pokemon shouted with mighty roar. Everyone looked confused at girl, who was looking at them with full power.

"Which one of you is gonna fight me? You or-" she was asking Serena and Ash, but then noticed Riolu by Ash's side "You. Are you gonna fight me for my 100th win in row? It's destiny, to fight last trainer, if he has Riolu." she shouted and her pokemon with her. Everyone looked at her confused, but then Ash clenched his fist.

"I am little lost in those words, but I got the words, that you want to have a battle." Ash said with determation and kneeled down to Riolu. "What do you say Riolu? Are we gonna fight them together?" Ash asked and Riolu nodded and clenched his fist. "Ok, we accept your challenge for a battle."

"Awesome and after we will win, we will be ready." girl shouted again and looked to her pokemon.

"We will see about that." Ash said interrupting their shouting.

"I like your power, I have seen a clearing by my way so let's go" she shouted and started to go in way, she pointed.

"Hey, before we fight, I would like to know your name." Ash said, on which girl stopped and turned to them.

"Oh sorry, I am just really happy about this. My name is Korrina and my partner here is Lucario." she said and pointed to Lucario, who nodded on style greeting. Serena and Bonnie introduced themselfs on the way, whileRiolu was looking at Lucario with full determation for winning.

"Korrina, why are you so sure, that you will win?" Serena asked and Korrina smirked.

"Because we didn't lost 99 battles in row and I will do anything to win this one. I am just sure of it!"

"Then you should be careful about Ash and Riolu, they can really surprise. Right, Ash?" Bonnie said with smile looking at Ash.

"Oh really, then let's see, we are here." and there it was. Huge plain for fighting and everything.  

"So, do you want only 1v1 or more?" Ash asked as he went to his side. 

"1v1 one and only! Clemont would you do us the referee, since you are Lumiose gym leader." she told, on which everyone looked with suprise. 

"Wait, but why -" Clemont was trying to say with confuse.

"I will explain after, so will you or not?" Korrina shouted interrupting Clemont, while punching air. 

"Amm, yeah sure. This will be a battle between Ash and Korrina on 1v1. First side with pokemon unable to battle is loosing." Clemont said and in the meantime, Lucario and Riolu entered on the land, where they were supposed to fight. "Both sides ready? Good, batlle begin!" 

"Lucario start with power up punch." Korrina shouted and her Lucario's paw was surounded in glowing orange energy and ran straight into Riolu. 

"Counter with brick break." Ash reacted with his attack and Riolu's paw started to glow white and clashed with Lucario's. They were both fighting for who would back away first. When both them looked at each other, they knew that the other one won't so they both backed away on same time. When Lucario was away, around him appeared red glowing. 

"Don't let them take more time to recover, use bone rush." 

"Dodge with quick attack Riolu." Lucario created glowing bone in his hands and then ran again at Riolu. Riolu was surounded by white glowing and when he was close to be hit, he dodged the first swing. 

"Don't stop Lucario, keep up until you hit Riolu." 

"Stay with quick attack Riolu and wait for it." Ash shouted and Riolu keeped dodged all swings that Lucario tried to hit with. When Lucario swang up so he would hit him from above, Ash smirked. "Now!" Riolu immediately placed his palm on Lucario's chest and then made small explosion, making Lucario back away with small groan but not really hurt. 

"Ok now, we are not holding back, use aura sphere!" Korrina shouted louder then before and Lucario started to charge small blue orb of energy in his hands and then shoot it. 

"What do you say Riolu?" Ash asked with small smirk Riolu, who smirked too and started to charge his own sphere and threw it at Lucario's sphere. When Korrina and Lucario heard, what Ash said, they were confused and when Riolu created his own aura sphere, they looked really dumbfounded, but then Korrina recovered.

"I don't know, how did you do it, but we are still continuing. Lucario use metal sound." Korrina shouted, while making fighting poses to show, that she isn't afraid of loosing. Lucario put his hand together and then released high sound, that made Riolu and even Bonnie and Serena cover their ears, by the sound. "Now, power up punch!"

"Riolu, try to cover it with brick break again." Lucario ended his previous to change it for paw cover again in energy to come in contact with Riolu's. But this time, Lucario overpowered Riolu and punched Riolu, sending him flying and landing on grass.

"Now use bone rush!" before Riolu could get up, he could see, how Lucario appeared infront of him with large glowing bone and then swang, sending Riolu even away.

"Riolu!" Ash shouted and jumped so he could catch Riolu, before hitting tree. When Ash slowed down Riolu from flying, he looked down to Riolu, who was unconsciousness.

"Ash, are you ok?" Serena asked, as she ran to Ash, who stood up, with Riolu in his arms.

"I am just fine. We have to train more, but it's look like Korrina and Lucario are happy for their win. When they calmed down, Korrina went to Ash and Lucario by his side.

"Thank you and sorry Ash. We won our 100th win thanks to you and by this battle. We were so thrilled to win, that we accidentally didn't realise, that we would sent him away like this." Korrin said and scratched her back with nervous, because she didn't know, if Ash would be angry at her.

"Nah, I am good and I am happy for this battle, right Riolu?" Ash asked as he felt, how Riolu was awake again and looked at Lucario with rivalry look. "It looks like Riolu won't mind, if we will have next battle." Ash said and Korrina laughed.

"Yeah, I am sure Lucario won't mind too. Also would you explain that aura sphere, that Riolu used? That wasn't copycat, right?" Korrina said scanning Riolu from head to bottom. Ash was about to say, but he was interrupted by growling. This time wasn't only him, but also Korrina and Lucario.

"I will make launch, we can talk about everything after that." Clemont said and placed his bag on the ground. Everyone nodded and Ash laid Riolu on the ground and took of his bag to take out potions to heal the wounds.

"So you have Riolu, that knows, how to use aura sphere? You are so lucky, Riolu with aura sphere is probably the most rarest things, I have ever seen." Korrina said with small jelaousy. Ash just laughed and looked at Riolu, who was full of energy and eating next to Lucario and both talking to each other. 

"Yeah Ash is so lucky and everytime, he fight with someone, they are suprised as you were. They are always "what the hell" or "you were cheating" and when he was fighting in Cyllage city, only pokemon that fainted was his Teddiursa and after that he, Riolu and Froakie win it without fainting." Bonnie shouted energetically. Korrina laughed at Bonnie's energy and then looked at Clemont. 

"Did he already defeat you." Korrina asked, but Clemont only shook his head.
"No, he will defeat you before me." Clemont said and Korrina looked suprised and everyone looked confused, what they were talking about. 

"Sorry, but you know each other?" Serena asked and Korrina smirked. 

"Gym leaders know each other so it shouldn't be so surprising." Korrina said with proud and others just looked at then with wide eyes open. 

"You are a gym leader?" Ash asked surprised by her words. 

"Not now really, but yes. I am Shalour city's gym leader."

"But if you are saying, that every gym leader in Kalos know each other, then why Viola didn't know, that Clemont is gym leader?" Serena said and Ash nodded with her. 

"Yeah, that is true." Ash looked to Clemont, who shook his head. 

"She knew I was gym leader, but that time, when we met her, I came to her gym, before the day of your battle asking if she could try not to say it. After I explained why, she just said that she will try." 

"That explain it." Ash said with light up face, but then realized something. "What did you meant by, that you are not now a gym leader? You have even mega stone so why aren't you now?" Ash asked and Korrina frowned and made eye contact with Lucario. 

"You see, me and Lucario always had problems with mega evolution. When me and Lucario got key stone and mega stone, we tried to mega evolve and it worked, but when we started battle, Lucario stopped listening me and went insane. After that, my grandfather sent me and Lucario on training to solve this problem. We learned, how to control that power when Lucario evolves so we came back to Shalour city and I became gym leader." Korrina said with small smile.

"But something happened, right?" Ash said and Korrina nodded and sighed.

"Yep, after many victories, even perfect ones, where I used only Lucario and we defeated all of them, without Lucario fainting, we had one battle, where I fought guy, whose last pokemon was Empoleon and I had Lucario as the last so I thought, it will be interesting battle, because his empoleon was really strong. I touched my stone, but from that moment, everything went wrong. First thing was, that when Lucario mega evolved, he was just standing there like statue. was confused and so was my challenger. I tried to call out move, but Lucario used different move, then I wanted and after that, Lucario went insane again and started attack without my commands. Challenger was surprised so he was playing on offend and after few Lucario's attacks, Lucario frozen in place and that gave to to challenger opportunity to knock out Lucario on one hit." Korrina said with small frown.

"Do you know why it happened? I mean like reason? I heard a lot of things about mega evolution, but I didn't hear about this kinda problem." Kantonian asked and Korrina nodded. 

"After that battle, my grandfather said something, but it was in his words 'old sayings'" Korrina said with annoyed voice and everyone slightly laughed at this. "He said something about, that with starting to use mega evolution in battles, we started to loose something. I asked him what, but he said that I have to figure out with Lucario. So I thought, maybe if I will do it as last time with one hundred wins in row, we would solve it. And so here I am." 

"Did you figure out, what was your grandfather talking about?" honey-blond girl asked and Korrina shrugged.

"Not really, I mean like I don't know what really it was, but after our fighting without mega evolution and this traveling, I have feelings we are close." Korrina said with clenched fist and with more energy. 

"Do you plan to try it." Clemont asked and Korrina reacted without hesitation. 

"Of corse I am and I wanted to ask you. I wanna make sure, that if Lucario will go insane again, then you as the gym leader would make sure to stop him." Korrina said with hope, but Clemont scratched behind his head. 

"I would really want to, but I don't have my pokemon from gym with me here. But you could have another battle with Ash. He always has at least one strong pokemon with him." Clemont said, but Korrina hasitated for a moment of asking him. After all, Riolu didn't really stand a chance against Lucario. She then looked to Ash, who only toothy grinned.

"Are you sure Ash, you would handle Lucario, if he goes insane?" Korrina asked with small worries, but before Ash could answer, Bonnie answered for him.

"You kidding? When Ash is using his strongest pokemon, no one can defeated him. You shouldn't be even worring about this. He even has pokemon, that is part of fighting type, right Ash?" Bonnie shouted energetically and Ash just scratched behind his head.

"I think you are overreacting Bonnie." Ash said, trying not to get all attention again.

"No, Bonnie is right Ash. Everytime you used some of yours 'crises' pokemon, you won always." Lumiose gym leader and Serena nodded.

"Yeah, you are even Earl in Battle Chateau and you are not even so long here." Serena joined them and Korrina looked stunned by these information.

"Is that so Ash? Then I really underestimated you Ash, so would you like to help me?" Korrina asked and Ash smiled.

"Sure. I won't mind another battle today and he didn't had a battle in long time. So how about after Serena's pokepuffs?" Ash said and Serena came to them with basket.

"So are you ready Lucario? We gonna try it after long time and I believe, that we are going to be  back in our normal battles with mega evolution." Korrina said Lucario nodded. Korrina looked to Ash, who looked at them with thinking look. "What is with that look Ash? Are thinking about, that you won't be able to beat us with our normal battle style?" Korrina shouted, making Ash to stop daydreaming.

"Oh yeah sorry, I was just thinking about something. Alright come out Infernape!" Ash shouted and trew his pokeball. From pokeball came out his Sinnoh fire partner. He shouted and his flame ĺighten up a little with his battle cry.

"Oh, Infernape. He look really strong so let's see how, can you handle us. Ready Lucario?" Korrina asked and Lucario nodded to her. "Mega evolve!". between Lucario and Korrina started to glow and they connected with their lights. Lucario was covered in light and his body started to change. When the light dissepeared, it revealed different looking Lucario. Lucario's aura sent waves of aura, making Riolu and Ash looked with admiration at that power.

"Ok Infernape, watch out on everything." Ash shouted and Infernape nodded.

"You should, we are full of the power, right Lucario?" Korrina asked and Lucario nodded. Korrina sighed with relief. "Ok Lucario, let's get started with this. Use power up punch." Lucario ran towards Infernape, who standing still without a hint of fear. Ash and Infernape with him smirked and when Lucario was about to hit into the face, Infernape dodged with his head. Lucario tried to hit again, but Infernape only dodged again. When Lucario swang to the side, Infernape smirked and he swang with his arm and punched him in chest. Lucario slides few meters away. Lucario looked surprised, but Ash could see something else, like he was pissed or angry.

"Yeah Ash! Go for it!" Bonnie shouted from where they were watching them. Korrina playfully smirked at her shouting.

"Oh, really? Let's show her, who should she rooting for, right Lucario?" Korrina shouted with making fighing poses, but when she looked to Lucario, it took him a while to react on her words. "You ok Lucario?" Korrina asked with small concer in her voice. Lucario turned to her and nodded. "Awesome, we are not going to be in that situation again. Use bone rush!" 

"Infernape counter with close combat." Ash shouted and Infernape has ran towards Lucario, who was running right to him with two glowing bones. They clashed each other. Punch on bone and kick on another bone, but Infernape was forcing Lucario to go back. Infernape punched extra strongly and one bone shattered in dust. Lucario jumped away to avoid from getting hit.

"Ok, if it won't go and close, let's go on range, use aura sphere!" 

"Use flamethrower!" Lucario threw his ball of enerhy to go in contact with strong flamethrower, that created smoke.

"Go there and use bone rush." Lucario ran into the smoke with two glowing bones in his hands, but when he entered smoke and stirred it up, he couldn't find his opponent anywhere. He looked around to find his opponent, when he only noticed hole in the ground. "WATCH OUT BELLOW!" before aura pokemon could react, he was hit from bellow him. Lucario stood up and he was hit, but he wasn't really injured, but he had some scratches on his body.

"Still able to continue?" Ash asked playfully and Korrina started to punch air again.

"Of course we are and we will win this battle because we has always with mega evolution. Use metal sound!" Korrina shouted, but this time, Lucario didn't reacted on her command. "Lucario?" Korrina asked, but Lucario started to shake. And then without warning ran straight at Infernape.

"Watch out Infernape. He is out of control, but I guess you know how it feels like?" Ash said and Infernape nodded, before dodging Lucario's attacks. "Infernape, try not to hurt him too much." Ash said and Infernape punched into face. Lucario backed away and he looked even more pissed of then before.

"Lucario, listen to me, stop fighting now with yourself." Korrina shouted witch all tries. Lucario seemed to hear her and Korrina noticed that. "Yes listen to me. If you gonna listen to me, we will know, that we are worthy of using mega evolution in battles. So we can show them, how impossible to defeat withc mega evolution." Korrina shouted, but then Lucario stopped listening to her againg and was looking around and then ran. But he didn't ran at Infernape, he ran right at Serena, Bonnie, Clemont and other pokemon watching them. He had ready aura spheres in his hands and threw them at others. They gasped scarred of Lucario's attack, but before it could hit them, it hit something else. When dust settled, standing right in front of then stood Infernape.

"Infernape, we have to end this quick. Use flare blitz." Ash shouted quickly without further thinking and Infernape surrounded himself in fire, tha changed in  blue one and ran directly to Lucario.

"Lucario wake up. If you won't it will hurt and I don't that please!" Korrina shouted in despair, seeing Infernape in his giant flames running into Lucario, who was running against Infernape. Lucario was running against him without stopping. "Please Lucario! Listen to me!" Korrina shouted and closed her eyes, when she saw how closed they were to each other. She was expecting to hear explosion, but it never came, so she opened her eyes to see, that both Infernape and Lucario were standing close to each other. Infernape was still surrounded in his  blue flames, but they were dying out. She looked to Lucario, who was shaking in place. He then just colapsed on the ground and reverted back into his normal form. Korrina ran to her colapsed pokemon and took his head in her hands. Lucario slowly opened his eyes and saw, that her trainer was smiling at him. He then looked to his side, to see his opponent and his trainer, who knelt to them and held berry in his hand. He took it without hesitating and ate it.

"That should do it." Ash said and smiled at both of them. After that Clemont ran to them with potions.

It was sun setting and Korrina was in forest. She was there alone and she punched into trees. Sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker and sometimes she didn't even reacted how much she did. She just knew, when it was too much, she went to another tree and continued.

"If you are planning to continue, you can forget about those fighting poses you are doing." Korrina almost jumped of the unexpected voice. She turned around to see raven hair boy, looking at her with small smirk.

"Ash, don't scare me like that." Korrina said with one last punch into the tree.

"If you didn't tried to hide in the forest so much, I wouldn't have to." Ash said and making Korrina to giggle at least little, but then she just sighed.

"I needed to be alone for a moment." Korrina said and and she looked away from with angry face. "I don't get it. Why? We were trying so hard with mega evolution and we still today failed in fighting you. We were so good at this, then why are we so bad this now. WHY?" Korrina shouted and punched the tree so much, that something cracked. Ash looked at Korrina and he saw that tree had a small crack in it, but Ash then looked to Korrina, who shuttrn her eyes. He then looked to her fist and saw, that her finger didn't looked like it was supposed to be. 

"I told you, not to punch it so much. It has to hurt that-" Ash said, but then Korrina turned to him with frustrated face. 

"It's not my stupid fist Ash. It's the problem that I can't solve. And you know what is funny? That I manage to make Lucario stop before he got more injured but I couldn't stop him from almost harming others. And if it is going like this, how am I going to be best gym leader, if I can't win battles with mega evolution." 

"That is your problem Korrina." Ash said interrupting Korrina. She looked at him with confused look. 

"What are you talking about? You think you know my problem, then tell me, I am one ear. I am sure someone like knew, what problem mega evolving Lucario can be, if you didn't even do it." Korrina shouted angry. 

"Yes, you are right. I have never mega evolved anything and I don't know it really about Mega Lucario, but I know when you connected in wrong way." Ash said in calm voice. 

"What the fuck are you talking about Ash? We are connected." 

"By only fighting!" Ash shouted, but he didn't looked angry. He had only serious look on his face. Korrina looked in surprise at him. 

"What do you mean by that?" Shalour city's gym leader asked. 

"I mean that, when you are using mega evolution, then you forgetting the thing, that mega evolution isn't only about fighting and winning battles with it. I noticed it, when you were determinated to use mega evolution. You were talking about your wins thanks to the mega evolution. You were talking about anything except your stronger connection, but yes you are conncted as you said. When you were fighting Riolu, you weren't thinking about winning, because you wanted to solve problem that you have with Lucario, because you didn't wanted to have any problem you as trainer of your pokemon. I could see it, that you are connected, when Lucario went crazy. Because from start, you were happy about Lucario being normal and you didn't care about winning, but here's the thing. When we were starting to defeat you, you thought only winning match and so your connection with Lucario dissepeared, but when you wanted Lucario to hear you, he heard you, because you connected with him again. That is why Infernape didn't hit Lucario, because he noticed that Lucario is back in his normal behaviour. The thing that your grandfather ment was, that when you started to use mega evolution, you forgot about what it was and not only about winning battles with it and because you and Lucario are so similar to each other, that is the reason, why was Lucario acting as he did." Ash ended his saing, leaving Korrina totally stunned. She just sit down on nearby stone and took everything in mind, what has kantonian just said. It took her a while to recover from it.

"I didn't thought of it like this." Korrina said with more calm voice, then before.

"Yeah, well, if I were you, I wouldn't notice it either." Ash said and sit next to Korrina.

"But you noticed it at me and with that, I can now solve this with Lucario and we can work more together. Thank you, Ash." Korrina said with bigger smile and Ash made grin.

"For friend everything." Ash said and stood up and Korrina with him.

"By the way, how did you find me? It's not really close from where you are camping." Korrina asked and Ash smiled.

"Well I must say, I was talking to him before you." Ash said and pointed behind him, where came out Lucario and behind him Riolu and Pikachu.

"So you find me Lucario's help?" Korrina asked with smirk and Ash just scratched bhind his head.

"Yeah, he didn't really wanted to any one after that battle, like you." Ash added and Korrina has just look to Lucaro, who nodded. "It wasn't easy to find him."

"Well, that is one of the reasons, why I wanted to be alone. We almost hurt others." 

"And they already said, that it wasn't your fault, so please, when talk this out, try not to turn yourself down again, ok?" Ash said with small laugh and Korrina giggled with him. "So do you wanna guys go back?"

"Yeah. And tomorrow, we are going to make sure, that I we will solve it, right Lucario?" Korrina shouted with clenched fist.

"That is energy, that I met you with today." Ash said and Korrina nodded.

"Yeah, but I will leave you tomorrow. We have still a lot of preparing and we need to do more training together." Korrina shouted and Lucario cried with agreement.

"I hope you are going to be ok now, because next gym I am comming for, is your next." Ash said with certain voice and Korrina looked to him.

"Then after tomorrow you should make sure to train more, if you want to defeat me in my gym, because there won't be no holding back. But before that, I want to go back to others, because I want to eat some food from Clemont before I leave." Korrina shouted and and went back to others with Lucario. Ash chuckled and looked to his side and saw Riolu looking at them with determination and he felt a rivalry.

"If you want to defeat Lucario, we will have train more then normally." Ash said with small smirk and Riolu look to him and nodded. He laughed and went back to others. Pikachu jumped back on his trainer and emanation pokemon by his side. 

A.T.:YES I KNOW.  EVERYTIME ASH IS ASKING DIFERENT AND I AM SORRY XD. In chapter 9 I made that stupid thing with Ash surprised by catching Riolu. The thing is, that I am writting these stories, when I had done my last chapter. I was trying to do some things, that everyone put in their stories, like Pikachu and his ketchup but again I realized, that I am not so awesome with these stuffs. Tell me if you want some things like other stories has, but right now, I am trying to stick in one of the way how to tell story. Anyway I am writting this stupid message and next thing I want to say, sorry for delay XD.
