Loren P.O.V

Flashback -

"So Madison, where did you move from?" I asked her wondering about her past.

"Uh.. I came from PHS." She responded nervously.

"Really? That used to be our rivalry school!" Ariel chipped in. I narrowed my eyes at her. "Tell us about it, and why did you move?" I asked wanting answers. She looked down to the floor.

"I don't really want to talk about my old school." She said coldly. "Come on, we're your friends now!" I tried to encourage her.

"Oh leave the thing alone," Kristen told me. I scoffed and decided to just drop it.

Flashback Ended -

When I got home I grabbed my computer furious. 'Perimeter High School' I typed into the search bar. Thousands of results came up.

I clicked on their homepage and did all the research I needed.

I sat in the corner of Starbucks next to the window. The bell to the door pinged as a group of people walked in.

They walked over to my table and sat down. "You must me Loren." Liz acknowledged me. She was the only one I talked to over the phone.

"Yes and you must be Liz." I replied warmly.

We hugged each other as if we had known each other for years. Before she sat down, Liz introduced me to the other two people with her.

"This is Tori and May." Liz pointed to each of the girls. I smiled my hello and got right to business. Liz sat down next to me on my side of the booth.

"As Liz knows already, I came to talk about Madison." I explained.

"Yeah, she just left without saying anything. I mean of course after what happened to her she basically wanted to kill herself, but that wasn't any reason to just leave." May blurted. "We were her best friends besides Carson of course. She seems not to care at all about this which isn't like her unless she knows something. She claims she doesn't but we all know that's not true." She babbled on.

I listened very intrigued. "What if I told you that I knew where Madison?"

Their eyes lit up as if to show they were very interested. I smirked and knew that this would put her back in her place.

Madison P.O.V

It's been almost a month since I stood up to Loren. School's been going great, I'm captain of the cheer team, and with Paul's help my grades are actually stable B's.

I don't think there's anything that can bring me down anymore. The past is the past and it's time to live up to the future.

The warm autumn air was cool against my skin. I was staring at the stars with Paul laying next to me.

"Thank you for this Paul." I thanked him.

He chuckled in response. I sat up on the blanket and glared at him. "I'm serious. Thank you." I told him again. "We're just staring at stars on an October night." He joked.

"No, I mean for everything. You're the only one I know who hasn't betrayed me before." I told him.

Silence.

"Paul?"

Silence.

He sat up and looked at me. "Look Madison, there's something I have to tell you." His eyes fell from my eyes.

"What is it? You can tell me anything." I asked worried. "I lied to you." He said silently.

"What do you mean you lied to me?"

"I.. Loren... She didn't actually bully me," I looked at him blankly. "I didn't even go to MHS. I went to PHS.. with you."

"What the hell do you mean you went to my old school?" I questioned suddenly becoming infuriated.

Flashback -

I didn't deserve this hate and criticism. All because I kissed him. I kissed Lucas. Lucas Bryant, the bad boy of PHS. He had a girlfriend and it may have happened at a party but that gave him NO right to say I slept with him.

I did not sleep with him. I did not give him an STD. I did not force him into it. It was a kiss, and when he wanted to do it with me I turned him down.

Flashback -

"It's me.. Lucas.." I sat there blindsided. I quickly got up. I gathered everything until Pau- Lucas whoever the hell he is grabbed my wrist. "Let go of me! You ruined my life!"

"What makes you think I want anything to do with you?!" I screeched my eyes welling up with tears. "I helped you with Loren!" He responded trying to grab hold of me again.

Who the hell did he think I was? "You're an asshole!" I yelled before rushing away. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close to him.

"Get.Off.Of.Me" I hissed into his face. I struggled to get out of his hold, but nothing was working.

"Just let me explain, please."

"Explain why you told everyone I... did it with you? That I gave you a disease?!" I shouted basically spitting on him.

"I'm in love with you." He said. "That's all you have to say? Doesn't make up for the fact that I wanted to die because of you!" I kicked him in his area.

He groaned and let me go. I ran to his car and drove off.

A million and one thoughts were going through my mind.

Why didn't he look like Lucas? His eyes and lips were the same as Lucas but his hair was completely different.

Stupid! I thought to myself. People get friggin haircuts. I was actually falling for him.

I was finally able to get Lucas out of my mind and go to school.

In about 10 minutes I was already out the door walking to school with a bagel in my hand. I met with Niña and Blake who soon became my best friends.

School was fine and Loren still hadn't showed up. I was beginning to think she never would show up again.

The bell rang for lunch and I was eating school lunch. Something I never did when I was with The Clique.

"Ahem." I heard a throat clear behind me. The cafeteria soon became quiet. I swallowed my food right before turning around.

I almost spit back up my food when I saw who it was.
