I have never seen a story where the villain was the protagonist, and the hero was the antagonist.

I mean seriously, HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE??!!?!!

I get it, it's hard to hate your own characters.
Hell, for this one villain I'm making for this storyline/game I want to make.
I HAVE TO MAKE THEM EVERYTHING I DESPISE, JUST SO I CAN DISLIKE THEM!

I've even had to use my least favorite colors in their designs, and make them in a way that I don't approve of.
It takes a lot of effort to hate your own characters, like.
You are an AMAZING writer if you can establish a tone of disliking towards a character.

We put so much effort into creating the heros of our stories, the protagonists. But we don't take that much effort into creating an antagonist...
