I flip through the Wattpad stories I search up, and see that people like to use art for their covers.
But here's the thing, that art isn't theres.

Stop using art that isn't yours in your covers and stories without recognizing the original artist, and giving them some profit or some sort.
Like, tell me about your story and I will GLADLY draw you a cover, just don't take art off the internet that isn't yours and use it.

It's called art theft.
And there have been some cases where people have been sued for this. It's a crime. (In America anyway. Doesn't mean it's any better to do it in any other country.)

If you know the artist who originally made it, ask for their permission before you use it.
You know how in school you have to site your sources?
Well you should do that with other people's art you repost on the internet too.

You know hot topic?
They steal other artists work off the internet without their permission and put it on their shirts. The original artist never gets any credit or part of the profit.

So basically by reposting the art your helping hot topic do this shit.

Stop it.

If you can, make your own art and use that instead. Or at least credit the artist.

The anime or manga is perfectly fine.
