I mean like, and she's always freaking perf at doing her makeup.
The pic above was my second time doing makeup but I had to clean off like 10 gallons of war paint that ended up on my eyelids when I did the mascara XD

And seriously, in my opinion middle schoolers shouldn't be caking on makeup like it's cocaine. A little makeup is fine, but at that age you should be able to live free, not worrying about looking the best in your class, or dressing the best, or which florescent colored mascara to use on what day.
If you do it to impress people stop.
If you do it because it's relaxing, fun, or gives you confidence, go for it!
Just don't cake on like concealer, 12 layers of foundation, looking like a clown just to be someone else. Or be like someone else.

Makeup is another form of art.
(And oh god here I go being the hypocrite... Prepare yourself...)
And you shouldn't paint, or draw, or make things or do things that have to do with art to impress people, to be popular or noticed...
