1) Character is nerdy and ugly with her glasses on and then when she takes them off, GASP, she becomes the most beautiful/handsome girl/guy in the school!!!
Reality) Character is nerdy and ugly with her/his glasses on she/he takes off her glasses and has dark under eye bags.

2) Character never cleans her/his glasses, EVER.
Reality) Character has to clean those bitches 24/7

3) Character wears contacts normally, but lost them and has to wear her/his glasses to school, and is super self conscious about them, and they get bullied a lot throughout the day.
Reality) character has their contact lens case super glued to their bathroom sink. Everyone already knows they wear contacts/has glasses at one point so no one cares.

4) Character never goes to eye exams. Ever.
Reality) character has to get new prescriptions like, 89/7. (Since they're in high/middle school their eyeballs are still growing.)

5) Character loses glasses, whole world stops.
Reality) Character loses glasses, and can't see the fucking homework board for shit and ends up having to ask the teacher if they can sit all the way up front so they can see the board.

6) Character is always adorable shy and nerdy with their glasses on, BUT WHEN THEY TAKE THEM OFF. They become a party devil.
Reality) Your still the same when you take them off.

7) Character flies through the air gracefully, and their glasses never fall off.
Reality) Glasses fall off every time, unless they have one of those strap things on the back.

8) Character can't find anything without their glasses.
Reality) Character can still see it's just fuzzy. (I've survived school on several accounts without my glasses.)
