Mekhi's POV:

I'm closing up the club tonight due to having a late business meeting with a few men that I plan on doing business with. It went over a little longer than I had planned but then again it's been like this for a few days now. Of course the guys want a preview and I get Nicole to come into the room and give them a show. I enjoy watching my girls' get my business partners turned on it's actually a great way to get them to agree with me.

Damn...if Scarlett and I were not together I just might have to test her out, but I gave that up when she came into my life. My phone buzzes again for the second time and I see Atticus is trying to get a hold of me that it is urgent. "Excuse me while I take this call." I step into the bathroom where it is more quite so that I can hear him. I know something is wrong because he never bothers me. "What is Atticus?"

He sounds hurried and he speaks fast. "It's your sister sir...she is going into labor."

"So call an ambulance. I will be right there." I know she is due next month and has been having complications but seriously he is calling me about Meagan.

"No...it's too late for that...Scarlett is doing it here. I think you should come home as soon as you can."

I stop and look at myself in the bathroom mirror, closing my eyes thinking about Scarlett doing it. I know she can...hell she is good at what she does but I'm not sure about how she will feel about doing it. "Yeah...ok...I'll be right there."I walk back out into my office.

The guys are having a blast watching Nicole and getting a little touchy which is fine as long as she is alright with it. I groan, running my hand through my hair and then let the guys know that I have a family emergency and that they are welcome to finish this down in one of the private rooms. Once they all head out, I turn and lock up my office door.

On my way home I get another text.

Atticus: I'm worried about Scarlett.

Me too...I hit the gas a little harder and speed down the highway. I park in the garage and make my way into the house, dropping my keys off at the counter. I walk down the long hallway, up the stairs and to Meagan's room. Both of our parents are there and Meagan is sitting up in the bed holding a bundle in her arms.

"Mekhi...you're home...look isn't he precious." Meagan holds up the baby for me to see. I lean in and look at the tiny boy and he is sound asleep.

I kiss Meagan on the forehead. "I will be back later...I need to talk with Scarlett."

My mom walks over and hugs me. "She did good son...if it wasn't for her..."

 "I know...I will be back." I don't have time to sit and talk to them right now. I go back down the steps and then up to our side of the house. I walk in the bedroom door and see her robe thrown on the floor with splattered blood all over it. I walk over to the bathroom door and open it slowly as steam escapes the closed in area. I step in and it feels like a sauna. I hear her soft muffled cries trying hard to hold it all in.

I strip off my clothes and open the door seeing her curled up on the floor. I close the door behind me and she glances up with a tear stained face to see me there. I hold out my hand for her to take and once in mine I pull her close to me. "You ok babe?"

"I will be...I'm glad you are here." She crashes her lips into mine. She forces her tongue inside my mouth and I let her. I know she is doing this to get everything off of her mind.  I slide mine in hers and I feel myself getting harder down below. Her hand slides down my chest and towards my manhood; she grabs with her hand full force and starts stroking. "Take me Mekhi...take me right now."

I slid two fingers into her sweetness and she is more than ready for me. I take out my hand and then slide myself into her, pumping her until she squeals out my name. "Mekhi...harder...oh...my god...harder Mekhi..."

 I pound harder as she digs her nails into me back. I feel her body tense around mine and then it goes into convulsions...she releases and falls against my body. I hold her up as I reach over and turn off the water and open the door. I carry her out and dry her off. I watch as her hand slides down to her scar. I lean in and kiss it then look up to see her eyes fill with bloodshot tears. "Take me to the room?"

I give her a look like she has got to be kidding me. "Scar...my parents are here."

She looks down at the floor with those water filled eyes. "Mekhi...please, I want you to take me."

I lean in and kiss her soft lips. "I will later...I promise." I dry off and get dressed. I hand her a shirt and then some pants. I see that she is disappointed as her eyes cast the floor again. It's been a while since we have been in the room. I know she wants it...hell she needs it at the moment but with others in the house I can't get my mind focused on that. I watch as she reluctantly puts on her clothes and we go to Meagan's room.

My parents are still in there and when Meagan sees Scarlett her face lights up."I thought of a name...what do you guys think about, Rylan Mekhi...of course we would call him Rylan if that is ok." She gleams ear to ear and both of my parents approve of the name.

 I never thought about having a little one named after me. At first I was not for it but the more I said the name in my head it had a nice ring to it. "Sounds great sis...but why would you want to name him after me?"

"Seriously...Mekhi you have to ask. If it wasn't for you and Scarlett there is no telling where I would be right now. I also would like to ask the both of you a question."

I look over at Scarlett and I can't tell if she is she happy about the name or not. I nudge her arm and she looks up at me and gives me a fake smile.

"I would like you two to be Rylan's Godparents. That way if anything ever happens to me or Sam that you two will be there to help raise him."

I'm not really shocked that she requested for that but I think Scarlett is. She looks like she is trying so hard to hold it all in. I walk over to Meagan and hug her. "I would be honored to be...and so will Scarlett...right babe." I turn to look at her holding out my hand for her to come over to the bed.

"Yes...of course. Meagan you can always depend on us to be there."

She holds up the baby for Scarlett to take. Scarlett looks over at me and then picks up the baby. I watch as she cradles him in her arms. Her face lights up when he makes a cooing sound and I see it in her eyes this is what she really wants...a baby of her own. Something that I will never be able to give to her.When she looks up at me she notices that I am watching her. She leans in and kisses Rylan on the cheek and then holds him up for me to take.

I'm actually a little bit nervous about holding something so small. He is so light...like holding a pillow...its crazy how little he is. "I am going to always be here for you little man...you need me you let me know. I will always have your back." I talk to him as if he understands everything that I am saying. I hold him for a little longer and when I look up Scarlett is gone. I hand Meagan Rylan. "Where did Scar go?"

"She stepped out a little while ago. Mekhi is she going to be ok? I feel this is too hard for her. I know how much she has always wanted a baby that is why I asked for you two to be the Godparents...if it's too hard I totally understand if you two don't want to do it."

"No...hun...we are honored to do it. Scar will be alright. I will see you later all right. I think I need to check on her."

"Of course you do..." She winks at me and I roll my eyes at her.

I go back to our room but she is not there. I walk through the house and she is gone. I bump into Atticus in the kitchen. "Hey have you seen Scarlett?"

"Yeah...I think she was walking to the workout room. By the way congratulations of being an uncle."

"Thanks."

I wouldn't mind sitting beside him and having a drink myself but I have other things to do first.
