You blew the grey smoke out through tight lips as you leaned back. You let out a sigh as you looked up at the evening sky. The sun was setting so the sky was painted in a beautiful orange and purple.

Y/N: What a fucking week.

You were sitting on the top of your apartment complex thinking about life. You wore a black hoodie with white lettering which read "I ❤ Hot Moms" and a pair of your ripped jeans. Your shoes were just about to be useless with the rubber slowly being stripped away.

You felt your phone go off and you pulled it out as you tapped some ash off your cigarette. It was a message from Evelynn.

Evelynn: You busy?

You smiled as you sent back a reply.

Y/N: Never too busy for you.

Evelynn: Flirt.
Evelynn: Is it cool if I come over?
Evelynn: I want to talk to you about something.

You raised a brow.

Y/N: Sure.

You looked back up at the sky. It was getting a bit late, but you would never say no to spending time with her.

Unless you had to do something else.

You simply laid on your back and took another drag.

Evelynn ended up reaching your place around 8 or so. She pulled into a parking space and immediately spotted you talking to one of your neighbors. You looked over and noticed her so you said goodnight and headed on over.

Evelynn locked her car and waited for you. She then noticed your hoodie.

Evelynn: Is that for my mom?

You looked down at your hoodie and smirked.

Y/N: Depends. Would she give me a kiss if I said yes?

Evelynn rolled her eyes and leaned back against her car. You took a moment to look at her outfit.

She wore a pair of shorts with black fishnets under. She also wore a dark blue shirt tucked into her shorts with her hair done up in a bun.

Y/N: Hey.

Evelynn: Hey.

She looked at you for a moment before she looked up at your apartment.

Evelynn: Is your mom home?

You chuckled a bit as you rubbed the back of your neck.

Y/N: You didn't seem to care the first time.

Evelynn's cheeks grew red at your teasing but shook it off.

Evelynn: I...I just wanted to talk.

Y/N: Yeah. Is everything okay?

Evelynn nodded. You ended up leading her back up to your apartment where you allowed yourself to relax a bit. Evelynn had noticed that you smelt like cigarettes, but she didn't mind.

Oddly, it was comforting.

Y/N: Want anything to drink?

Evelynn: No.

She sat down on the couch as you grabbed yourself a coke. You joined her and smiled dorkishly before you took a sip.

Y/N: So, what's up?

Evelynn shrugged as she sat back. You could tell something was bothering her.

Evelynn: I just, I want to let you know that I would never cheat on you.

You looked at her confused. This was definitely an interesting way to start a conversation.

Y/N: Uh....cool?

Evelynn nodded.

Evelynn: Well, I also know that, you would never cheat on me. Right?

You nodded.

Y/N: Figured that was obvious. Why would I? I mean, look at you. What dumbshit would fuck this up?

Evelynn looked at you blankly for a moment.

Evelynn: I love this boy.

You just sat back and looked at her.

Y/N: So, what is this all about? What's up with the cheating talk?

Evelynn rubbed her hands together for a moment before she turned to you.

Evelynn: I had a dream and it's kinda been bothering me.

Y/N: And this has to do with cheating?

Evelynn nodded.

Evelynn: You left me for Irelia.

You stared at her and blinked.

Y/N: Uh huh.

Evelynn: And I've been kinda a mess since and I don't really know what to do. I've never had this happen to me before.

Yeah, you could see that she was very upset over all of this. Judging by the slight bags under her eyes, you could tell that she's also been losing sleep.

Y/N: Hey...

You placed a hand on hers and set your drink down on the coffee table.

Y/N: That'll never happen.

Evelynn: I know.

Y/N: Look at me.

Evelynn turned to you and was surpises when you placed your free hand on her cheek.

Y/N: Irelia doesn't have shit on you. And you have something that she'll never have.

Evelynn: What's that?

You just smiled.

Y/N: My heart.

Evelynn laughed a bit as you kissed her head. You the rested yours against hers and closed your eyes.

Y/N: But seriously, you have nothing to worry about.

Evelynn closed her eyes as well.

Evelynn: I know.

Y/N: But you're still worried.

Evelynn: Yeah.

Y/N: What do I have to do to prove it?

Evelynn opened her eyes and looked at you. Without another word, she kissed you. You fell into it before she pulled away.

Evelynn: Let's go somewhere.

Y/N: Go somewhere?

Evelynn nodded.

Evelynn: Let's go...to the city or something.

The city? That's a two hour drive.

Y/N: You sure?

Evelynn nodded.

Evelynn: We can get a hotel. Just enjoy the night there.

You gave it some thought. Then, you smiled.

Y/N: Fuck it.

The drive was filled with laughter and weird conversations. You continued to make jokes while Evelynn drove. She found herself at ease, but also restless to get you all to herself for the night.

The city itself was alive with everyone spending their weekends bar crawling, partying, or just hanging out. The two of you decided on some dinner at some restaurant neither of you knew anything about.

To make things interesting, you both choice what the other would eat. You got a lobster, which you never really had, while Evelynn got a ribeye steak, which she rarely ate.

Then, you went bowling. Evelynn was surprisingly good at it. She won by three whole strikes.

Walking around downtown, you smoked a cigarette. Evelynn, curious, asked for one. Laughing, you gave her one. She found that she hated them.

She wanted to dance, so you manged to sneak you both into a club. She looked beautiful under the colorful lights. Your feet were hurting after, but you still gave her a piggyback ride to the hotel.

She was surpised when you gave the receptionist a fake ID. She was even more surpised that it worked and that you managed to snag a room.

The suite was the most expensive place you've probably been. The bed was huge, the room service was incredible, and the tub was big enough for two.

You both agreed on separate baths.

You kissed her and told her how beautiful she was.

She kissed you and called you handsome.

You took your time in taking off her clothes.

She was too eager to get yours off.

The sun was rising when she fell asleep on your chest. You slept like a baby in her warmth.

The next day, or rather, later on in the day, you both returned to your small beach town. Both of you were ready for what was to come next. Rather it be someone trying to ruin you lives, or simple high-school drama, you were ready.

You were ready, because she was by your side.

Evelynn: I love you.

Y/N: I love you too.
