You looked out the window of the bus as you rode it towards the Northside of town. You had your earbuds in while a song played as you thought about what was to come.

You have never been to the LeBlanc house outside of the party. Surely it would be different during the day with her parents there. You also noticed that the cloud were gathering and growing darker.

Hopefully it won't rain later.

You let out a sigh as the bus came to a stop at a red light. At the same time, a car stopped beside it. You looked down at the window to see a young girl looking at you.

She smiled and blew on the window, making it fog up. She then wrote something down.

Gwen.

You smiled, but the bus moved forward before you could reply. So you quickly waved at her. You watched the car turn off towards the beach for a moment before you turned back to face forward.

It wasn't much longer before you reached your stop. You got off the bus and headed up the street. The bus stop was actually only to the outside of the neighborhood, so you still had to walk a bit.

However, the walk did give you time to think about things. One of your favorite pastimes it seemed. And, luckily, it didn't take all that long to actually reach the house.

You walked through the front yard and up to the door where you rang the doorbell. You waited patiently before the door opened to reveal Evelynn.

Evelynn: Hey. You made it.

You smiled. She was wearing a pair of leggings with a loose shirt. Her hair was down and it seemed like she wasn't wearing a lot of makeup if any. She seemed really relaxed.

Y/N: Hope I'm not late.

Evelynn: No. Actually, I'm glad you got here now. My brothers just left for thier fishing trip and my dad had to go back to the office.

Wait. Was it just the two of you?

Y/N: And your mom?

Evelynn: She's upstairs. Come in.

She stepped aside to make room for you to enter. You did so and she closed the door behind you. You looked around for a moment and realized just how nice the place actually was.

Evelynn: So, I have a surpise.

You raised a brow as she held your hand and dragged you along towards the kitchen. She let go just as you both entered and made a playful gesture to the island where there sat a tub of ice cream, a bottle of chocolate syrup, some chopped up nuts, and a jar of cherries.

You also noticed that the family had bananas as well.

Evelynn: I figured we could make this date more fun by making some sundaes.

You smirked as you walked towards the island. You picked up the bottle of chocolate syrup and turned back towards Evelynn.

Y/N: I thought this was for.....

You stopped mid-sentence when you spotted someone walking into the kitchen. Luckily, they did not hear you. However, you did realize that it was her mother.

And your cheeks grew red as your mouth stayed open in complete and utter shock at what you were seeing.

Evelynn: MOM!

Caitlyn: Huh?

She yawned as she stood in the doorway wearing a robe. However, the robe was open, and you could see perfectly what she was wearing under it.

A set of black lingerie.

Evelynn: I HAVE A GUEST!

Caitlyn stood there for a moment before she looked at you. She smiled and walked over to you before she suddenly hugged you. Evelynn blushed in embarrassment while your entire body went stiff.

Caitlyn: Hey, kiddo. It's good to see you again. I forgot that you kids had a date today.

She let go of you, leaving you changed, and walked back over to her daughter. She placed a hand on her head and smiled.

Caitlyn: Well, I'm going back to bed. You two have fun.

She walked back out of the room while you and Evelynn stood there frozen.

Y/N: Huh.

Evelynn: Mmm.

You shook your head and completely forgot what your joke was going to be. You set the bottle of syrup back down and looked back at the island.

Y/N: Well....wanna make some ice cream?

Eveylnn gently placed the cherry ontop of her sundae. She stepped back and admired her work. It was perfect.

She then looked at yours.

Evelynn: Holy shit.

You dusted your hands off as you smiled at your work. It was much more calculated with it's design. It was carefully crafted and it even seemed to give off a glow of holy light.

You turned to Evelynn and smirked confidently while you puffed out your chest.

Evelynn: How did you....

Y/N: I used to make these with my dad. He trained me in the art of the sundae.

She was impressed. You relaxed as she slowly reached out and took some of the ice cream on her finger. She looked at it and then licked it.

Her eyes grew wide as her mind opened up. She suddenly found herself in the cosmos itself. Her bare body flew at lights peed through the stars and planets before she reached something further. Her head began to open up as a new her crawled out of her old skin.

She heard the angels sing and the demons cry. She felt everything all at once and smelt smells she had never smelled before.

This.....this was enlightenment.

You looked at her for a moment before you waved your hand in front of her blank face.

Y/N: Uh, Evelynn?

Evelynm blinked and grabbed your shirt to pull you down.

Evelynn: HOW?!

Y/N: AHHHHH!

After calming down, you both decided to get rid of the ice cream by throwing it outside. It was too powerful for the human mind. But now you were left with only one sundae.

You and Evelynn both looked at hers for a moment before she opened one of the drawers. She looked over at the dishwasher and back at the drawer. She reached in and pulled out two things.

A fork and a spoon.

Evelynn: Crap.

She showed you the two things of silverware.

Evelynn: Dishes are getting washed right now. You want the fork or the spoon?

Y/N: Uh, you can have the spoon.

She nodded and handed you the fork. You both turned back to the sundae and dug in. You took your first bite and smiled. It was good.

Not cosmos expanding good, but good.

Evelynn smiled happily before you noticed something on her cheek. She had a bit of syrup that must've gotten stuck on her when she was making her sundae.

You smiled when you got an idea.

While Eveylnn enjoyed her ice cream, you leaned over and kissed her cheek, quickly licking the syrup. She blushed like crazy while you pretended like nothing just happened.

Evelynn: W-What did you...

Y/N: You had something on your cheek.

Evelynn looked at you for a moment before she grinned. She quickly picked up a small amount of syrup on her finger. She then rubbed it on your cheek and mirrored your option.

You blushed when you felt her tounge on your skin. She smiled as she picked up more syrup and placed it back on her cheek.

Evelynn: Oops~

You leaned down and kissed her cheek again before you pulled back slightly. You both looked at each other, mere inches away, as you both smiled like fools.

Evelynn narrowed her eyes at you and picked up more syrup. Without warning, she smeared it across your lips. She then leaned up and placed her arms around your neck. She closed her eyes and kissed you which you quickly returned.

Your hands landed on her waist as she pulled you down more. The taste of chocolate syrup began to leak into your mouth as you gently bit her bottom lip. She happily complied and soon, you were both deepening the kiss.

Her hands began to run through your hair while you pulled her body closer to yours. It took a moment, but your need for air separated you both.

You looked at each other, but neither of you smiled. Not because you were unhappy or regretful. Just because.....you couldn't explain how you felt right now. Evelynn slowly moved forward and placed her head into your chest.

Evelynn: Sorry. I think I took it too far.

You chuckled a bit as you slowly hugged her.

Y/N: Nah. You're fine.

Evelynn: I don't want to rush this.

Y/N: Then we won't. I'm not going to make you do something you don't want to do. This is all at your pace.

Evelynn pulled back a bit and looked up at you. Her cheeks were still a bit red, but she was at least smiling a bit.

Evelynn: Okay. Uh, do you want to start the movie?

You nodded. Might as well.

You sat on the couch while Evelynn went upstairs to grab the movie she had picked out. Something you had never seen. Or, so she said.

You suddenly felt something drop into your lap as Evelynn rounded the couch. You looked at the things she threw on you confused. Was this a bear?

Evelynn: Now, I am very excited to show this film to you. This is something I grew up watching and I love to this day.

She presented the DVD case as your raised a brow.

Y/N: My Neighbor Totoro? What is it? A Disney movie?

Evelynn: No, my dear Y/N. This is a Studio Ghibli piece.

Studio what now?

Evelynn placed the movie into the DVD player and got everything ready before she moved to the couch and sat next to you. You leaned forward and grabbed the bowl of popcorn she had made while she hit play.

The movie started while the two of you sat back and got comfortable. Evelynn laid her head on your shoulder while she rested her legs on the rest of the couch.

She was beyond happy. You were the first guy to actually sit down and watch a movie with her. Her other dates always either laughed it off, or tried to get her to do something else with them. Hell, the way you handled things earlier in the kitchen proved to her, once and for all, that you weren't doing this just to sleep with her.

You actually cared.

And you did. You wanted to know Evelynn better. You wanted to see the things she was interested in. And she felt the same for you.

And so, you sat there and watched the animated adventure if two sisters and a forest spirit. By the end of it, you found yourself surprisingly entertained. Evelynn held her stuffed Totoro the entire time as she shared a piece of her childhood with you.

And so, the movie ended. The credits began to play as Evekynn sat up and turned to you.

Evelynn: So?

You smiled.

Y/N: I liked it. It was cute.

Eveylnn: You liked it?!

You nodded. She was much happier now. Which was a surpise since she couldn't believe she could be happier.

She was just relieved that you enjoyed her favorite movie from her childhood.

However, the fun times were interrupted when the front door opened. Sounds of heavy rain filled the house for a moment before the door closed and Darius walked into the living room.

Darius: Damn rain.

He pulled his coat off and noticed the two of you on the couch.

Darius: Ah! Y/N. How are you?

Y/N: Good. Is it raining right now?

You didn't even hear it start.

Darius: Yeah. It's coming down pretty hard.

You sighed and stood up.

Y/N: Guess I should head to the bus stop now.

Evelynn: The bus stop?

Darius: No way, kid. That's too far in this weather.

You raised a brow for a moment.

Y/N: I...I need to get home somehow.

Darius: The way the streets are, it won't be safe to drive. You can stay here for the night, if that's alright.

You stood there for a moment before you looked at Evelynn. You didn't have plans and you didn't really need to be at home, but you also didn't know how you felt about staying over for the night.

Y/N: Well....

Eveylnn: Uh, you can borrow some of my brother's clothes. I think you guys might be the same size.

You rubbed the back of your neck for a moment. Darius was right. The weather was too bad to walk to the bus stop and it was too dangerous to drive.

Y/N: Well, guess I'm staying over.
