You flinched as you took off the last bandaid that was on your cheek. You tossed it into the wastebin and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked much better than a few weeks ago.

Kayn: Smoking in the boys room.

Ezreal: Smoking in the boys room.

Kayn: Teacher, don't you fill me up with your rule.

Ezreal/Kayn: 'Cause everybody knows that smoking ain't allowed in school.

You looked over at your friends as they messed around. Kayn sat on one of the sinks while Ezreal leaned against one of the stalls.

You were once again back at Blades Academy. Granted, it was nearly a month after your brawl against Alistair and his group. And nearly a month after Evelynn panicked over seeing you all beat up.

Evelynn: What the hell?!

Y/N: Alright. Time to head back to class.

Ezreal: Do we have to?

Y/N: Ye...

Kayn: Nope. I'mma ditch. Later, bitches.

You and Ezreal watched as he walked over to the wall. He then began to pull himself up to the small window. He pushed it open and crawled through it before you and Ezreal heard a soft thump. You then heard him run off.

Ezreal and you looked at each other for a moment before you shrugged. You both walked out of the bathroom, through the door, and entered into the empty hallway.

Ezreal: So, what did you think about the last practice?

Y/N: I think I was freezing my ass off. It's almost winter now.

It never snowed here, but it was getting to foggy mornings and Christmas decorations. Hell, it was only a month now until Christmas break.

Ezreal: Are we all still going up to the cabin?

Y/N: That's the plan. At least if Kayn can convince his parents to give him the keys.

Ezreal: Even then, they'll give them to you.

You nodded. His parents did love you. Said that you were a good kid. Hell yeah.

You both reached your classroom and went inside while Singed was teaching something something something whatever the hell he was teaching. Ezreal took his seat and you went to your own.

You sat down and let out a sigh before you looked up at the bored. Was this history?

You looked through your locker mindlessly, trying to remember what you were looking for, when you felt the shift in the hall. You leaned back to look past your locker door to see the Blades heading down the hall. Once again, everyone stopped or moved out of their way.

You just returned to your locker to try and find that book. Was it a book? What were you looking for?

Suddenly, you couldn't see anything and your nose was filled with the smell of cinnamon.

Evelynn: Guess who.

Y/N: Uh.....Jake Gyllenhaal? Please be Jake Gyllenhaal.

You heard your girlfriend, never gets old, laugh as she moved her hands away. You turned around and acted surprised.

Y/N: What?! I thought Jake Gyllenhaal made his way to our small town. Shame.

Evelynn: And you think he would come to you?

You shrugged as you quickly kissed her head. The school was not very open to PDA. And you were both still a bit unsure about others knowing of your relationship.

It wasn't a secret that the two of you have been together for nearly two months now, but people were still weird about it. A Richie dating a Bum. It was a weird occurrence.

But you didn't exactly give a damn.

Evelynn: You look better.

Y/N: And you look as good as ever. Would you happen to be free this afternoon?

Evelynn hummed with a smirked.

Evelynn: I don't think my boyfriend would be okay with you asking me on a date.

Jinx: Gag.

You both looked to see everyone else standing there.

Ezreal: You two are so sweet it's disgusting.

Ahri: I think they're cute.

Akali: Where's Kayn? I want to ask him....uh, a question.

Y/N/Ezreal: He jumped through the window in the bathroom and ditched school to do something else that may or may not have something to do with the fact that he might be a serial killer.

Akali looked a bit upset, but she played it off well. Evelynn looked at everyone before she gently tapped your arm. You looked back at her, ignoring the fact that everyone was staring at your mix matched group.

Evelynn: Hey.

You looked at the others and turned so that the two of you could talk.

Evelynn: Do you have practice today?

Y/N: Yeah, but Sett is having us switching to skateboards until the weather gets warmer. But it'll be quick. I'll free after.

Evelynn: I have cheer, but it is Friday. You know what that means.

Y/N: Date night.

Evelynn smiled. Every Friday it had become a kind of tradition to go on a date. It switched each week between you and Evelynn on who chose what to do. She would show you a part of her life, and you would do the same in return.

Evelynn: You get to pick this week.

You gave it some thought and smiled.

Y/N: How about mini golf?

Evelynn beamed. She had been talking about it for a few weeks now.

Evelynn: I kinda wish you could stop by.

Y/N: Yeah. But the last time I did, I kinda got into a brawl and ended up with a black eye.

She reached up and touched said eye. It was still a bit bruised but it looked much better.

Evelynn: True. Well, maybe next time I'll have to do something to make sure you stay.

Y/N: Just flash a smile and you got me on lock.

Jinx: Okay. Gag, again.

You looked back to the others to see that they were watching you.

Ezreal: Come on. We have to go before Sett starts blowing up our phones.

Y/N: Yeah. Whatever.

You turned back to Evelynn and sighed.

Y/N: See you after practice?

Evelynn: Obviously. Meet me at mini golf?

Y/N: Course.

You winked at her and joined your friends in leaving. She watched you for a moment before Ahri placed a hand on her shoulder.

Ahri: You're so in love that it hurts. Come on. We still gotta change.

Sett: Practice is canceled until further notice.

You and the others all stared at him with blank faces. He just shrugged and went back to drinking as he ordered the next shipment of books for the shop.

You just sighed and dropped your board down.

Y/N: Whatever. I'm gonna go see Evelynn practice.

Ezreal: Can I...

Y/N: No.

Kayn: Can I go?

Y/N: Obviously.

Kayn smiled and skated along with you. Ezreal threw his hands up as he watched you both. He sighed as Xayah placed a hand on his shoulder.

Xayah: Just hang out with Lux today, bud.

Ezreal and Xayah looked over to Lux who was happily standing there.

The girls did their routine to the music just as you and Kayn entered the gym. He scanned the room and smiled when he saw Akali. It was still odd to....well everyone that he seemed to have such strong feelings towards someone outside of the group.

You both took your seats in the bleachers a few rows up and watched the girls preform. Your eyes were locked on your beau, however.

She wore a black sports top along with a pair of shorts. Her hair was tied in a pony tail and she looked.........so fucking hot Jesus christ you were dating this girl.

Kayn, however, watched Akali with a smile. Not for the same reason you were watching your girlfriend, though. He just liked to watched her dance.

The song came to an end, and Evelynn smiled as she turned to the others.

Evelynn: That looked great, ladies. I'm calling it here for today. Good work.

The girls all relaxed and fell into chatter as they started to get ready to leave. Evelynn spoke to Kai'sa for a moment while you looked over to Kayn.

Y/N: So, you gonna hang out with Kali?

Kayn: Maybe. If she says yes.

You smiled. You were happy for your friend.

Evelynn: Hey!

You turned back around and found Evelynn rushing towards you. You smiled as you stood up.

Y/N: Hey, pretty lady.

Evelynn: You came to practice?

Y/N: I told you all you had to do was flash a smile.

Evelynn smiled, but your world came a sudden halt.

Irelia: Hey, cap. Can I talk to you for a...

Your eyes grew wide as you looked at the girl who was approving Evelynn. She stopped mid step and stared at you before she smiled.

Irelia: Y/N?

Evelynn looked confused before she turned to you. She saw your face and pieced together that the two of you knew each other.

Y/N: Irelia.

Irelia walked over and hugged you, but Evelynn noticed that you tensed up a bit as you awkwardly stood there.

Irelia: It's been so long since I've seen you.

She let go and looked at you. She placed a hand on your arm and Evelynn finally stepped in.

Evelynn: Sorry to break this up, but you needed to talk to me?

Irelia nodded as she let you go.

Irelia: Yeah. It was about the routine. I was wondering if we could talk about it?

Evelynn noticed how uncomfortable you were right now. This was new to her since you always seemed so confident regardless if what the problem was. But this was different.

Evelynn: Uh, maybe another time? I have plans tonight and I still have to head home and get ready.

Irelia just smiled.

Irelia: Of course. Who's the lucky fella?

Evelynn: What?

Irelia: Well, it's a Friday and you must be meeting up with someone. I'm guessing it's a date.

Evelynn stood there for a moment before she turned to you. Irelia looked at you both before she pieced it together. She continued to smile, though it seemed forced.

Irelia: Oh. Well, don't let me keep you here. Have a good date, Captain.

She nodded and left without another word. You let out a breath before you turned to Evelynn.

Y/N: I'll just, uh, meet you at the mini golf place.

Evelynn: What was that ab...

You were already leaving before she could finish her sentence.

But, Kayn and Akali were going to go terrorize the people trying to loose weight at the gym by eating ice cream in front of the windows, so there's that at least.
