Ren: *sitting with his back against a pine tree, arms crossed, crimson eyes narrowed behind his black-framed glasses* Before this other team arrives, I'll say that if the three of you embarrass me in any way, shape, or form, you'll be running laps with Gai from dawn till dusk when we get back. *smiles frostily*

Akari: *blanches, wanting to protest, but knowing it's futile* *instead looks sharply at Seiichi, her mouth quirked into the beginnings of a scowl* Say that to him, Sensei! Sei's the one that causes trouble. Hoshimi and I do fine on our own!

Seiichi: *returns her look easily, his hand creeping towards his weapons pouch*

Hoshimi: *smiles, simply looking at her sensei* We'll behave, you have my word, Ren-sensei.

Jun: *complainingly loudly, making no effort to even try and reign in his volume* But I still don't get why Miki-sensei couldn't come with us!

Kazue: *sighs audibly, casting a slightly apprehensive glance at Momoe, glad she seems to be ignoring Jun for now as they reach the grounds, her gaze zeroing in on Ren for the matter of being a male her ageish (probably? XD)* Because Miki-sensei is grounded for trying to convince Gai-sensei to take her on some sort of exercise thing, saying she's getting too fat.

Jun: *blinks* Isn't that supp- Oh! *snaps to attention realizing that they aren't walking anymore bt standing still arguing* *turns on one of his cheeky grins, pleased not to be the youngest this time around* Hello! I'm-

Kazue: *elbows him and offers a bright smile* Sorry, ignore him he was about to say something stupid. Pleased to meet you.

Noriaki: *his usual... silent self, studying them with interest however*

Akari: *freezes, caught in the act of lunging at Seiichi, her hands fisted around his collar, his kunai poised at her throat* *blinks, looking casually at the arriving team* Uh, hey?

Ren: *rolls his eyes*

Hoshimi: *the first to get to her feet, dips into a courteous bow* Hyuuga Hoshimi. My teammates, Kita Akari and Raikou Seiichi *gestures to them respectively*. *smiles politely* Please take care of us.

Ren: *standing, subtly smacking both Akari and Seiichi in the back of the head as he does so, slips his hands into his pockets and languidly strolls to Hoshimi's side, a practiced, charismatic smile on his lips* I'm Yuhi Ren, sensei to Team Six. *to Kazue* Don't worry much, my kids are just as rowdy.

Akari: *clutching the back of her head, the sting of Ren's slap still very much present* *shoots Seiichi another glare, hissing under her breath* Can you stop provoking me? We seriously might get killed!

Seiichi: *regards her silently, clutching his own head with one hand, though he does slip the kunai back into his pouch as he slowly nods, for once understanding she's probably right*

Kazue: *reflexively in response to Hoshimi's polite introduction* I'm Asari Kazue, those are my teammates Asari Noriaki and Kurama Jun. Jun's the one with the big mouth, Noriaki's the other one. *figures that's obvious enough, not bothering to point them out*

Jun: *pouts* You forgot cute, witty, genius-

Kazue: I didn't forget, I assure you.

Jun: *just shoves her elbow back towards her and steps forward with a wide grin* Please take care of us, as well!

Kazue: *in a thin-lipped smile response to Ren* If they're just as bad, I feel for you.

Jun: Hey!

Momoe: *abruptly snapping to attention and offering a bright smile as she steps forward to introduce herself* I'm their team leader, Senju Momoe, but you can just call me Momoe-chan if you'd like. *yeah, you know where that's directed*

Jun: *mumbles under his breath* That's why I didn't want to bring her.

Kazue: *rolls her eyes, flicking the back of his head*

Akari: *kinda just staring blankly at Jun, as he's the type she generally doesn't get along with, always happy and carefree* *shares a glance with Seiichi, though he seems more interested in Noriaki than anyone else, like he's sizing the teen up* You're not planning to pick a fight, are you? Because I'm not going to be responsible when you either get your ass kicked or have Yandere-sensei punish you.

Seiichi: ...Who says I'd lose?

Akari: *doesn't know if he's referring to Ren or Noriaki and just groans, knowing he's a lost cause*

Hoshimi: *still smiling, as she generally doesn't offer many expressions, being raised as she was to never show discomfort or anything of the like* Akari-san and Seiichi-kun just have conflicting temperaments. They'll settle down soon enough.

Ren: *taking Momoe's hand, mentally wishing he could just go home, because he gets the feeling he'll be doing a lot of acting when it comes to this group* *grins* Momoe-chan, then. Pretty name for a pretty girl. *not actually a flirt himself, just responding in kind to Momoe's greeting*

Noriaki: *sizes Seiichi up in his mind after the little exchange between Akari and Seiichi, then without any pride or the line behind his comment, just one of his usual matter-of-fact statements, declares his verdict* I'd win.

Jun&Kazue: *stare at him, only slightly surprised to hear him speak in a first meeting*

Jun:... *starts laughing*

Kazue: ... no fighting, Nori-kun.

Noriaki: *blinks, glancing at her* ... *nods his head in acceptance of the instruction*

Kazue: *focuses on Hoshimi* They're fine. *pleasant smile back in place as Jun's not acting out at the moment*

Momoe: *eyes light up in interest as they tend to do when she gets a receptive response, although she's studying him curiously at the same time* Why thank-you. I'd be lying if I didn't say I didn't think the same of you, myself.

Akari: *shoots Noriaki a highly disgruntled look* The fact that you really just said that with no hesitation makes me hate you. Do you have any idea the kind of hell Hoshimi and I are gonna go through trying to keep this guy *hooks her thumb at Seiichi, who's since adopted a dark aura and has redrawn his kunai, sensing a challenge* from jumping you? Because he'll do it, and he'll be freaking relentless about it, too.

Hoshimi: *polite smile* She's right. Seiichi-kun doesn't enjoy being underestimated, though I think you were only giving your honest assessment, Noriaki-kun.

Ren: *if you wanna think of it this way, he kinda has an Inner Ren, like Sakura does, and right now Inner Ren is grimacing and wondering how much trouble he'd get in if he broke Momoe's fingers* *cheerfully* You're too kind. Though people do say I resemble my cousin a bit, and she's gorgeous, so I'll take the compliment for her sake.

Noriaki: *bluntly as usual* I was. I came to the conclusion that while he seems strong enough, you're still part of a traditional team meaning your genin. As such, I'd have the advantage of experience, size, and a weapon with a longer reach. Although, I should apologize for riling him up. *glances at Kazue* As I will not fight.

Kazue: *weary smile, for once wishing Noriaki had just kept his mouth shut as he usually does* I apologize as well, he's rather... blunt with his thoughts. *her polite smile in place still*

Jun: *pouting once more* Are you sure we can't see them fight?

Kazue: *tempted to hit him atop the head*

Momoe: *thoughtful expression as she considers that for a moment, bringing up the surname he gave then a pleased smile flickering across her face as she finds what she's looking for* Kurenai-chan, perhaps? I can see resemblance.

Akari: *deadpan, as she places a warning hand on Seiichi's shoulder* Everything you just said made him want to fight you even more. Congrats. You're going to have a rabid genin on your ass for the rest of this mission.

Hoshimi: *glancing at Seiichi, narrows her eyes a bit, telling him to settle down*

Seiichi: ...Later. *stows his weapon, shaking off Akari's hand* We'll settle things later. *firmly, with his single-minded determination shining through*

Ren: You know Kurenai? *glances at their headbands, having noted them as being Konoha nin before but curious why he doesn't recognize any of them* *chalks it up to coincidence, as he isn't as versed with the workings of an rp as everyone else*

Noriaki: *even expression, glancing at Kazue with Seiichi's declaration*

Kazue: *sighs and waves her hand dismissively* Don't look at me, you're the one who started it. I won't stop you from fighting later.

Noriaki: *nods, gaze flickering back to Seiichi* *simply* Later.

Jun: This is wonderful. *highly amused* I don't think Noriaki's ever managed to rile anyone up, let alone so quickly. Usually that's my job.

Kazue: *eye-twitch* As we're well aware.

Momoe: *nods* I do, although I confess I haven't talked to her for awhile, although I've seen her in passing. *hasn't visited much since returning to the village* We knew each other better as children. *faintly recalling such times*

Akari: *releasing a weighted sigh, lightly jumps to her feet* *offers a genuine smile* I guess I should get my act together, too, huh? *nudging Seiichi with the toe of her sandal* Hey, same to you, Sei! We're a team, so don't go all lone wolf on us.

Seiichi: *rolls his eyes but doesn't protest, standing as well*

Hoshimi: *pleased her team has finally seemed to gather their wits* Ren-sensei will be happy to see you two getting along.

Akari: Happy? That guy's only ever happy when we're dead-tired and groveling at his feet... *flicks her sensei a curious glance* Still, he's putting up with that flirty woman pretty well, considering she's the type he dislikes the most. *dropping her voice to a whisper, conscious that badmouthing the other team probably wouldn't get them anywhere*

Ren: *really confused, as he knows everyone Kurenai was friendly with when they were children, but still doesn't press the subject, deciding he can inquire about it later* Did you? *smiles* That's nice. It feels like we have some common ground, then.

Kazue: *watching them with interest, not at all concerned about the whispering as, as far as she's aware they haven't done anything horribly irritating towards others just yet, so it shouldn't be that bad whatever was said* *searching for something to discuss now that the matter with Noriaki has been dealt with* So... how long have you been genin?

Noriaki: *relaxing, although he hadn't even realized he'd tensed*

Jun: *pouting because of the lact of fight, he'd been hoping Noriaki was gonna turn out to be wrong about winning*

Momoe: *bright smile* It would seem we do. *pauses, then latches onto a subject that happens to be an obsession of hers even when there's a potential flirting target before her* Hey, that must mean you know Gai-kun, too, huh?

Akari: *scratches the back of her neck* Eh... Two months? *looks to her teammates for confirmation, going on when they nod* Yeah, about two months. Though with Ren-sensei, it's felt like a hundred years... *scowls for a moment, then regains her smile* What about you guys? You're not genin, right? *her eyes zeroing in on Jun's vest*

Ren: *Inner Ren immediately groans, while Ren allows himself a good-natured laugh* Might Gai's known by most everyone in the Leaf, even if it's not on a personal level.

Kazue: *wry smile* Most of us aren't, know. Jun-kun there is a chuunin, Nori-kun a jounin. Momoe-sensei as well. I was away for awhile, so... I'm still a genin.

Momoe: *slightly disappointed to hear she can't go on about his awesomeness, but shrugs that off a moment later* That's true. *pauses, debating if she should throw another comment out there to see if he'll respond in kind again, but dismisses it and muses over what else there is to discuss*

Akari: *blinks, rather surprised* Seems kinda unbalanced like that, doesn't it?

Hoshimi: *cutting Akari a warning look, much like the one she gave Seiichi, turns back to Kazue, her smile still going strong* If it's not too much trouble, may I ask why the three of you are still a team? If two of you have gone beyond genin status, wouldn't it be expected that you wouldn't act as a familiar unit any longer?

Ren: *internally sighs, but wants to make a solid impression, as he knows they'll be working with this team in the future and having a bad air between the sensei would ultimately just make more trouble for him* That isn't to say I don't know him on a personal level, though. Gai's theatrics may be a little tiring, but he's an excellent shinobi and an overall good guy.

Kazue: *simply* Well, we work well together. Not everyone can handle him-

Jun: Hey!

Kazue: *continues without pausing* - and while we're a team, it's not like we're limited to missions with each other. Nori-kun goes out a lot without us and.. *pauses, then continues* My absence is the only reason I'm still a genin. I haven't had the chance to take the exams since my return. *hoping she explained t well*

Momoe: *lights up* He is, isn't he? He's really cute, too. *yeah, now picturing "her" Gai in her head* I actually met Kurenai through him. *rather pleased to talk about Gai, her obsession being an obsession even if it's a bit different than how Miki's obsession was* It was a rather fun time despite being stuck here instead of traveling. *sudden topic occurring to her and she changes directions without warning* Do you like to travel? How many countries have you been to, Ren-san?

Hoshimi: *nods her understanding* The three of us have only recently become a team, but somehow I feel as though I'll miss them when we aren't required to be together after our respective promotions.

Akari: Really? Because I can't wait to get away from Sei.

Hoshimi: *smiles, mildly amused* You didn't feel that when when he saved you during our last mission.

Akari: *bristling, her tone indignant* He didn't save me, it was a freaking cat--

Hoshimi: *lightly* Who did in fact have its teeth poised over your throat.

Akari: --and anyway Seiichi just knocked it aside because he was getting annoyed, it's not like he was trying to help me!

Seiichi: A kunoichi should know how to be grateful. *probably reciting something he heard from his cousins*

Akari: *eye twitch* I like you better when you glare moodily at Sasuke-kun...

Ren: I... Honestly, I've never had the luxury of traveling for pleasure, though because of assignments I've been to most of the countries that have hidden villages.

Kazue: *laughs, rather amused by them to be honest* You seem like you make a good team. *honestly what she sees it as* It only makes sense that you'd miss them. It's hard to be away from those you've spent as much time around as your team.

Jun: *snickering* You got pinned by a cat? How'd that even happen?

Momoe: You miss a lot by just traveling for missions. *wistful look* There's a lot to see about this world beyond the villages.

Akari: *spreads her arms wide in indignation* It was a damn big cat, alright? It just caught me off guard, is all, next time I'll-- *breaks off in a strangled hiss as she makes a decisive lunge, snaring Seiichi by the back of his collar and jerking him to the ground when she crumples herself* *thumping him over the head, again and again* You idiot, what were you trying to do, going after Ren-sensei with that murderous look in your eyes?

Seiichi: *batting away her hand, catches her eye over his shoulder, his gaze steely* He's distracted. It's perfect.

Akari: *blinks, then* Perfect? If you mean the perfect opportunity for you to get yourself killed, then yeah, you're dead on! How many times do I have to explain this to you? Ren-sensei's a jounin, we're little fledgling genin who barely made it onto his team. Don't just-- *goes off onto rant, one which Seiichi skillfully plugs his ears against*

Hoshimi: Ah... I should have mentioned. Seiichi's very loyal to his goals, and it seems he's made it a personal test for himself to see if he can catch Ren-sensei and take him down.

Akari: *pausing in her outburst, adds* You should've seen him during our test with Sensei, he just wanted to go after him by himself!

Hoshimi: *simply* He's very conscious of his own skill level, but he likes.... testing his mettle? I think that's the term Akari-san used before.

Ren: *one eye now trained on his genin, offers Momoe another charming smile* I take it you travel often, then?

Noriaki: *in his usual, simply manner* That's a respectable stance.

Kazue: *mutters* Says the boy who would spar until he passes out if he could.

Jun: *grinning* You shoulda let him try it, that would have been awesome to watch.

Kazue: *again considering hitting Jun* Ignore him. His opinion of fun is skewed and he doesn't filter his thoughts. *as if this is the best explanation for anything that comes out of Jun's mouth post explanation*

Momoe: *grins* Loads. I'm only with these guys cause my mom asked for it. Otherwise, I'd be anywhere right now.

Akari: *eyeing Kazue with newfound respect* Oh, so you've got an idiot on your team, too? I feel your pain.

Seiichi: *skillfully snaps his hand back, clipping Akari in the jaw, which just leads to her making a counterattack and the two of them having a scuffle in the dirt*

Hoshimi: ... *polite smile, though it's slightly strained*

Ren: *could not care less about Momoe's lineage, and so switches to a different topic* So you're not this team's regular sensei? That's surprising. *actually not surprised, as he doesn't get a very synchronized feel from the team and attributes that to them being unfamiliar with one another to an extent*

Jun: *fist pump in the air* Finally, something interesting!

Kazue: *gives in and thumps him on the head* Dammit, try and be at least slightly well behaved, please?

Jun: *rolls his eyes as he rubs his head* But that'd be boring, wouldn't it? *grins* Then there'd be nothing for you to get ticked off about.

Kazue: *eye-twitch* *pointedly turns her attention to Hoshimi, a wry smile on her lips* I'll assume from your reaction that they fight like that pretty often?

Momoe: *shrugs* Nah, I'm on the sensei sort. Miki's their leader, but she's on medical leave. *lips twitch with amusement at the fact that the only one who doesn't agree with the leave is the one that's on it* So, I got landed with them. *raises a curious brow* I wonder, do you like the whole sensei gig? *simply curious to hear an answer on the matter*

Hoshimi: *dips her head in acknowledgment* Quite often, yes. Akari-san claims she simply enjoys sparring, and that may be true, as she acts the same way with Kiba-kun when we train together with his team. Seiichi-kun, on the other hand, doesn't like to lose, so when Akari-san makes a move, he's quick to match her.

Akari & Seiichi: *still locked in 'combat', though Seiichi's gained the upperhand at this point and has Akari pinned to the ground; after a moment of useless struggling, Akari raises herself off the ground a bit, butting heads with Seiichi, forcing him back so that she can reverse positions*

Ren: *cheerfully* I absolutely love it. *mentally adding on: It's way too fun traumatizing these brats*

Kazue: *wry smile still* It seems like your missions would probably be interesting, with those temperaments.

Jun: *watching the fight with more interest, seeing as he's finding the conversation boring and that waaay more interesting* *settles on who to cheer for- simply because he thinks riling up the other's temper could be intriguing as well- and gets to it* Go, Seiichi-kun! *yup, already dropping to less formal honorifics 'cause he feels like it*

Noriaki: *simply watching both things, his hands digging into his pockets as he keeps his mind focused on this matter, rather than letting it wander to the fact that this conversation and brawling is taking place of his usual meal time at the cafe where Kourin works*

Momoe: *blinks seeing as while she's believed all he's said thus far- being a person who without a reason settles for the appearance of matters- this seems to hold more actual feeling behind it to her than the rest* Well, at least there are some people who do. *cheerfully as well* I'll have to keep that in mind and see if I can find the bright side.

Hoshimi: Interesting is one word for it, I suppose.

Akari: *finally manages to wrestle Seiichi to the ground, a triumphant grin flickering over her lips* Guess who's treating the team to dinner when we get home?

Seiichi: *shortly* That would be you. *when Akari scowls, simply dips his chin, indicating the kunai he's somehow maneuvered underneath her, with the tip hovering just below her heart* *flatly* Dead.

Akari: *staring numbly at the kunai, eventually releases a pent-up sigh, rolling off Seiichi* Fine, fine, you can pick the place, Sei. *after a moment, can't help but laugh, slapping a prideful hand to Seiichi's back when he sits up* One of these days I really am going to beat you, remember that, okay?

Seiichi: Unlikely. *with less venom than before* But try as many times as you want. Practice is practice.

Akari: *grins, her foul mood forgotten*

Ren: Oh, you'll find something about being a sensei that hooks you in, trust me. *a rather devilish smile on his lips, though only his genin recognize the slight shift in temperament, and even Seiichi feels a slight chill crawling down his spine at the look*

Kazue: *glances at the fight, surprised to see them suddenly seeming much more like simply sparring teammates than arguing ones* ... it would seem some good came out of that. *curiously, nodding her head to indicate those two* Do they always seem to be on better terms when finished?

Jun: *grins* I knew I chose the best choice! *cheerfully* Someone who got pinned by a cat was definitely going to lose. *yeah, testing his limits here as he usually tends to do when first meeting people*

Noriaki: *gaze flicks back to Kazue and Hoshimi's conversation as the fight concludes, his interest lost in the matter*

Momoe: *turns on one of her wicked grins, although it's more simply because it tends to appear when she's about to give a line* Oh, I suppose there is one benefit. I've met a few, handsome guys my age since starting this mess.

Hoshimi: *pausing a moment to consider* I would say so. I think, if nothing else, it allows them to vent their frustrations in a more effective way than simply bickering.

Akari: *narrowing her eyes at Jun* *to Seiichi, lowering her voice slightly* Hey, if I help you corner that Noriaki guy later, can you do me a favor and hold that cheery kid while I throw a couple jutsu at him?

Seiichi: *shrugs, twirling the kunai expertly around his fingers* Physically I've no doubt I'm stronger... Why not?

Akari: *grins, subtly offering her hand for a high-five*

Seiichi: *ignores her, getting to his feet instead* *does haul her up by her collar, though, much to her chagrin*

Ren: *Inner Ren is quite ready to get the hell away from Momoe* *again, simply responding in kind* Oh, something tells me Gai wouldn't like hearing you say that, Momoe-chan. *pauses, glancing upwards to check the position of the sun* ...We should get going. You'll be accompanying us on our mission, right?

Akari: *perks up, distracted for a moment from dusting off her clothes* Sensei, are we gonna get back in time for your date with Anko-san? She... seems like she'd do something drastic if you don't make it...

Ren: *dismissively* We'll be fine.

Momoe: *blinks, glancing up as well* We will. *agrees* It'd seem your right. We'll have to take off now if we want to make it to the daimyo's before dusk.

Kazue: *musing* I haven't seen [enter name I'm looking up right now cause I forgot to check it] in sometime... this should be nice.

Jun: *suddenly looks less than enthusiastic* Ai-chan isn't there, is she? *well aware of what Ai's presence would mean*

Kazue: *shrugs* How am I supposed to know?

Momoe: *glances over her shoulder* Quit talking and start walking. *in a tone that expects to be listened to* We're leaving.

Jun: *protest dies on his lips, not wanting to see a display of her temper just yet on this mission* Okay, Momoe-sensei! *chimes*

Hoshimi: *walking alongside Akari, as a buffer between her and Seiichi* *to Kazue* You're already acquainted with the daimyo's son?

Akari: *feeling a bit of sympathy towards Jun, leans around her teammates to see him better* Are you okay, kid? About the Ai-chan thing, I mean.

Seiichi: *absently sharpening a kunai against a flat stone he'd picked up beforehand as they walk, his interest satiated for the time being*

Ren: *looking ahead, but with his better ear cocked towards Kazue and Hoshimi's conversation, interested in the answer but not willing to ask himself*

Kazue: *hesitates, then decides that the mission wouldn't need to be a secret in this situation, as that incident has long since passed in her world* *shrugs off her hesitation* We met. *supplies simply* I look a lot like his fiance, Ai-hime. She took off when the engagement was first announced and I was asked to fill in so it didn't fall apart and cause a war. He was rather nice, even if he got flustered easily. *muses* Although, it might have been my fault for flirting with him out of spite towards Neji-kun.

Jun: *blinks a few times, surprised to be asked* Oh, yeah, sure. *simply, his bright smile returning* I don't mind, Ai-chan, she's sweet. *yeah, completely dismissing the fact that he's talking about a princess and using 'chan'* It's her body-guard I don't like. He's an ass. *yeah, his own defense for not liking the guy because of reasons*

Noriaki: *silent as per usual, keeping his attention more on their surroundings, although Neji's name catches his attention*

Momoe: *also more interested in their surroundings, but that's simply because she's eager to be out of the village, having been feeling cooped up*

Hoshimi: *her composure cracks slightly, hearing her mention Neji* Hyuuga Neji-kun? *this being the only thing she really took from Kazue's answer, as it she deemed it the most important*

Akari: *without thinking* Oh so he's like you then. *instantly clamps a hand over her mouth, then mumbles through her fingers* Uh... I didn't...

Seiichi: *under his breath* Dumbass...

Ren: *wondering if he'll have to do something about Hoshimi's attitude towards Neji in the future if it becomes a more pressing problem*

Kazue: *slightly surprised, then remembers Hoshimi's name from when she introduced herself earlier* Oh, right, you said you were a Hyuuga. Yeah, that Neji. In my Konoha, my clan and the Hyuuga clan have had a rather close relationship for a long time. *simply* We've known each other for a long time, and our graduating class is the same so we trained together a lot. Our real team-leader, Miki-sensei, is pretty good friends with Gai-sensei, so it was sort of unavoidable. He was being a bit of an ass on the mission, though *her own opinion of it even now, seeing as she got carried and dropped then practically teased when he made the comment about doubting she'd made Naoki fall for her* So... yeah, flirted out of spite towards him.

Jun: *laughs, not having a problem with her comment, although there's a bit of bitterness in his mind seeing as it's more true than she'd know, although it's kept from his face* Yeah, I suppose so. This is one of those cases where similar people can't stand each other.

Hoshimi: *her smile falters, shattering into a rather obvious frown*

Seiichi: *glances over at her, takes note of her expression, then looks at Kazue to say* Hoshimi hates him.

Hoshimi: *cheeks a bit pink out of embarrassment* I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate Neji-kun--

Akari: *cutting in* Yes, you would, and have.

Hoshimi: *unable to deny that, simply sighs* ...He and I have conflicting views on how a member of a branch family should conduct themselves. I also oppose his harsh treatment of Hinata-sama.

Akari: *studies Jun curiously for a moment, then shrugs, thinking it's not her job to dig into his problems* Sounds a little rough.

Kazue: *ponders this for a moment, then slowly offers a sheepish smile* Well, I can't say I love him for those things either, so we're about even on that. *pauses, then corrects herself* Well, on both matters, honestly. Just because we're thrown together a lot doesn't mean we get along. *smiles* Quite opposite, so I think we've found something we have in common, Hoshimi-san.

Jun: *shrugs* Eh, they live in the Moon Country, so it's not a big deal. *focuses on her, his cheeky smile appearing as he searches for a change of subject, not liking the topic* So, you never did finish telling me how you got pinned by a cat.

Hoshimi: *regaining her polite smile, nods slowly* I see. It's likely I shouldn't feel relief knowing you think of him in the same way, but... he is quite annoying, isn't he?

Akari: *bristles again* It was a damn fat cat, and it jumped me, okay? Actually, if it's anyone's fault, it's Sei's, because he was the one in charge of cornering it! *doesn't add that she was the one who tripped and nabbed the cat's attention*

Ren: *chuckling under his breath, recalling the furiously embarrassed expression Akari had worn when she'd realized what a mistake she'd made and how easily she'd gotten taken down*

Kazue: *in instant agreement* He is! Just because he's a bit skilled doesn't give him the right to be so egotistical. *might be ranting just a little, seeing as she has a lot of frustration built up against him* Or condescending!

Jun: *snickers* Wait, so it was just like... a normal cat? Fat, but a normal cat?

Hoshimi: *his talent being something of a sore point for her, as she's strived for most of her life to be able to match him for the sake of protecting Hinata* ...Yes. He's a troublesome boy. I can somewhat understand his reasons for being against the main family, and for looking down on others when he sees them as weaker, but his actions are inexcusable.

Akari: *scowls* That's it, I'm done with this conversation. You really are an ass. *pointedly looks away, her scowl only deepening when she catches the amused look Ren's wearing*

Kazue: *nods her complete agreement* I mean, I might not really be able to understand that side of it, but from what I understand from what Hatsu-chan, a Hyuuga friend of mine, I'm of the same opinion as yourself. She's gotten pretty pissed at him on occasion for the way he acts. The situation doesn't excuse being an ass.

Jun: *just practically lights up, leaning over to poke her cheek* Hey, did I hit a sore point? *in a curious, albeit cheeky, tone* Sorry~

Hoshimi: *a bit pleased to have found a like minded person, her smile takes on a warmer feeling* Hatsu-chan? She seems to be a person I could get along quite well with. I'd like to meet her, at some point.

Akari: *irritably swats his hand away* Don't apologize if you don't mean it. You're happy to be ticking me off, right?

Kazue: *in a rather pleased tone, seeing as she's rather fond of Hatsu* I think you would, although you'd have to meet her in a civilian setting. Where I'm from, she's Hinata-chan's older sister, but she's not a shinobi. *wry smile* Which might be why her and Neji-kun are at odds constantly.

Jun: *grins even more* Well, I won't argue that. You're interesting, so yeah, I am. *again, his opinion of things is rather skewed*

Hoshimi: *eyes light up* Hinata-sama has an older sister in your world? *of the mind that anyone from Hinata's family must be worthy of praise* Hatsu-sama *already switched over to formal* must be lovely, then. Her being a civilian isn't an issue, either.

Akari: *eyes him as though she has never met someone this infuriating before, then just looks away again, debating whether or not she wants to risk walking beside Ren to escape Jun*

Kazue: *amused now* She is rather pretty, although it's more of the fragile pretty than Hinata's cute pretty. And I don't think so, either. *amusement grows* Besides, she's honestly pretty bad-ass without jutsu and such, I've seen her beat a group of boys with her fists for picking on Hinata-chan... *leaving out that she also had to call someone when Hatsu collapsed at a later point from the physical exertion*

Jun: *muses over the matter, trying to decide whether or not he'd be risking going to far if he continues, then decides that he hasn't been hit yet, so he's good* You're speechless, I tend to have that effect.

Hoshimi: *likes her even more knowing that she'd go so far to defend Hinata* I'm relieved to hear Hinata-sama has such a capable older sister looking out for her.

Akari: *completely ignoring Jun, looks around to catch Seiichi's eye* You wanna do this now?

Seiichi: *raises a brow* With Ren-sensei here?

Akari: *winces* Not like you to back down from a challenge...

Seiichi: *flicks Jun a dispassionate glance, then returns his gaze to Akari* *just shakes his head, absorbed in his sharpening again*

Akari: *sighs, deflated*
