9 - Now is Riled

-3rd Person POV-

In the heart of the bustling plaza at the USJ, chaos erupted as villains came through the portal. Among them, three figures commanded attention with their menacing presence. One stood tall with striking blue hair, adorned in a bizarre ensemble of props resembling hands that gripped his upper body, lending an eerie and otherworldly aura to his appearance. His gaze bore the mark of calculated malevolence, a harbinger of the chaos that unfolded around him.

Beside him, a formless mass of black mist coalesced into a humanoid shape, its features obscured save for two piercing yellow eyes that glowed with an ominous intensity. Like a shadow given form, it exuded an unsettling sense of dread, its very presence sending shivers down the spines of those who dared to behold it.

And then there was the third, a towering figure of pure menace. Muscular and imposing, its pitch-black skin seemed to absorb the light around it, giving it an air of sinister foreboding. Its features were grotesque, with a bird-like beak, razor-sharp teeth, and an exposed brain pulsating with vile intelligence. Lacerations adorned both of its arms, a testament to the violence that lurked within its formidable frame.

"The only real heroes I see are Thirteen and Eraser Head. Perplexing, according to the schedule we retrieved from U.A., All Might should be here as well," the black mist villain mused aloud, his voice a sinister whisper that carried with it a sense of foreboding.

"So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus," Aizawa remarked, calling the villains out on their distraction from earlier.

"Where is he? I went through the trouble bringing so many friends who're eager to meet him," the blue-haired villain inquired, his words echoing across the plaza as the villains dispersed. "They want All Might, the great Symbol of Peace. I can't believe he's not here... Maybe if I kill a few kids, he'll come out to play."

Tatsuya's eyes widened, his reaction accompanied by a subtle gasp of astonishment at the revelation he had just heard. Swiftly, he shifted his attention toward Aizawa, evidently intending to relay this newfound information. However, before Tatsuya could voice his thoughts, Kirishima interjected with his own words.

"What? Real villains? No way," Kirishima exclaimed, his tone tinged with incredulity as he struggled to comprehend the severity of the situation. "How could so many of them get into a U.A. facility this secure?"

"Yeah, Thirteen, why aren't the alarms going off?" Yaoyorozu asked, her voice cutting through the tension as she navigated her way to the forefront of the crowd, her brow furrowed in concern.

"Good question, I'm not sure," Thirteen said, her tone thoughtful yet tinged with uncertainty.

"Is the entire campus under attack, or is this their only target?" Todoroki posed the question, his mind already spinning with the myriad possibilities of such an assault. "Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered, then one of these villains must have a Quirk that's masking their presence here."

"It's a possibility," Tatsuya responded, his voice carrying a weight of consideration as he contemplated the gravity of the situation. "But I highly doubt that they'd just make a direct attack on a school full of heroes; it'd be suicide. They must have carefully chosen this place as an entry point after the chaos at the cafeteria." His words held a chilling clarity, reflecting the cold, analytical nature of his assessment.

Indeed, the notion resonated with Todoroki's own thoughts, stirring a deeper introspection into the motives driving the villains' brazen incursion. "They may be fools for trespassing here, but they've thought this out," he acknowledged, his tone betraying a hint of begrudging respect for the enemy's cunning strategy. "Whatever their plan, they must have a concrete objective in mind, but what is it?"

"I think I might know; they have to be here for All Might!" Tatsuya reiterated, solemnly confirming the gravity of the situation.

"Wha-?! How do you know that?" Kirishima asked, his voice carrying a mix of surprise and disbelief.

"I can hear their conversation from right here," the wolf boy answered, earning an acknowledged nod from Aizawa.

Turning his attention to Thirteen, Aizawa issued swift commands, his tone brimming with authority. "Thirteen, it's imperative that you evacuate everyone and notify the main campus immediately. Given the situation, they might be disrupting our communications as well. Kaminari, see if you can use your Quirk to establish contact with the school," he instructed, his mind already racing through contingency plans.

"Yes, sir," Kaminari responded promptly, his fingers moving swiftly to adjust the controls on his headphones, attempting to establish a connection via radio frequency.

"I wouldn't bother," Tatsuya interjected bluntly, his statement drawing a mixture of bewildered and impressed expressions from his classmates. "If the alarms didn't go off, it's safe to say that they jammed our communications. We'd have to get outside first."

Adjusting his goggles over his eyes with a practiced motion, Aizawa cast a glance back at Tatsuya, a glint of admiration evident in his gaze, acknowledging the young student's perceptiveness amidst the chaos unfolding around them.

"What're you gonna do?" Izuku's concern was evident in his voice. "You can't fight them on your own! There are too many of them. Even if you can nullify their Quirks, your fighting style's not suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. It's not going to help with a group..."

Aizawa met Izuku's gaze with a steady resolve. "You can't be a pro if you only have one trick," he asserted firmly, his tone carrying the weight of experience. Then, he turned to Thirteen. "I'll leave it to you, Thirteen."

---------------------------------------------------------

-Tatsuya's POV-

Mr. Aizawa sprang into action, confronting the villains head-on with a fierce determination. Despite being targeted by a barrage of gunfire, he skillfully neutralized their Quirks with his own, rendering them powerless. With precise strikes from his capture scarf, he swiftly incapacitated each assailant, leaving them unconscious in his wake. The efficiency and prowess of his combat prowess surprised not only the villains but also me and Izuku. Witnessing Mr. Aizawa's adept handling of the situation, I found myself amazed by his combat abilities, contrasting sharply with the villains who seemed overly reliant on their Quirks and sheer numbers.

"Whoa, he's holding them off. I guess I shouldn't have underestimated him," Izuku remarked softly to himself, his eyes fixed on the intense battle unfolding before us.

"Come on!" I urged, seizing Izuku's arm with determination.

Thirteen took charge, leading our class with urgency toward the exit as tension thickened in the air. With each step, my senses sharpened, a heightened awareness settling over me like a cloak of apprehension. As we progressed halfway, a sense of foreboding crept in, prickling at my skin. Suddenly, my ears caught a subtle shift in the atmosphere just as the ominous figure of the black mist villain materialized before us.

"There is no escape for you..." the villain declared, his voice laced with malevolence, casting a chilling aura over us. "It's a pleasure to meet you; we are the League of Villains," he added, his words dripping with malevolence that was wrapped in an unsettling veneer of courtesy.

"I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say hello," the villain continued, eying the class analytically as the end caps on Thirteen's fingertips flipped open. "And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath? I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Ah, well, in the end, I suppose it doesn't matter; I still have a role to play."

As the villain's ominous declaration reached its conclusion, Thirteen prepared to spring into action. However, before she could make her move, Bakugo and Kirishima surged forward with determined strides, their intentions clear. With a thunderous roar, Bakugo unleashed a dazzling display of explosions while Kirishima propelled himself into the midst of the conflict, his fist propelled forward with remarkable velocity.

The resulting explosion obscured the battlefield in a swirling cloud of smoke, momentarily concealing the outcome of their bold assault. Through the haze, Bakugo and Kirishima emerged, their resolve unwavering as they stood firm, prepared to confront their adversary head-on. Each of them adopted a defiant posture, ready to meet the challenge posed by the villain before them.

"Did ya think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?" Kirishima asked with unwavering confidence.

"You live up to your school's reputation, but you should be more careful, children. Otherwise, someone might get hurt," the black mist villain remarked, his tone eerily composed. As the dissipating smoke unveiled his unscathed figure, his gaze pierced through the haze with unwavering intent. Adorning his neck was an enigmatic metallic brace, hinting at a cryptic past left untold.

"You two, get out of the way right now!" Thirteen commanded urgently, a finger aimed directly at the villain as she was about to use her Quirk.

"I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades and your deaths!" The black mist villain's ominous declaration reverberated through the air, his words dripping with malevolent intent as he expanded his form, engulfing us in his swirling mist.

The next thing I knew, I found myself hurtling through the air, plummeting at dizzying speed. With no specialized equipment for such a scenario, I had to rely on quick thinking to ensure a safe landing. Adjusting my body mid-fall, I positioned myself perpendicular to the ground, bracing for impact. As the ground rushed up to meet me, I executed a roll to dissipate the force, gritting my teeth against the sting of the landing. Despite the rough impact, I managed to regain my footing, relieved to have escaped without serious injury.

"Great, the conflagration zone," I mused internally, casting my gaze over the blazing landscape with a mixture of concern and focused determination. The urban expanse stretched before me, engulfed in flames that danced in a chaotic inferno. "I'll have to be careful here; all this smoke will be trouble for my nose."

"You're here, too?" I pivoted at the sound of Ojiro's voice, spotting him running toward me through the fiery haze.

"Yeah, I'm glad you're alright. Did you find anyone from our class?" I asked, my voice edged with concern.

"Other than you, no. Did you?" Ojiro replied, his expression mirroring my worry.

"No. I would smell the air to find anyone's scent, but there's too much smoke around to pick up anything. However, I have a feeling that we'll have some company," I explained, my voice tinged with frustration. Claws extended from my fingertips as I prepared for potential combat.

"Right you are, brat!" Almost as if summoned by my words, a menacing group of villains materialized around us, their smirks reflecting their malicious intent.

Ojiro and I instinctively shifted into defensive stances, backs pressed firmly against each other for support. "Just like the entrance exam?" I remarked, my gaze locked on the adversaries arrayed before us.

"Yeah, let's do this!" With a determined nod, Ojiro surged forward, his movements fluid and purposeful, his muscles tensed in anticipation of the impending clash. Inspired by his resolve, I mirrored his actions, my senses heightened as adrenaline surged through my veins, sharpening my focus amidst the chaotic frenzy that enveloped us.

I launched myself towards the nearest villain, delivering a powerful haymaker to their face that sent them reeling. As they stumbled backward, I executed a nimble backflip to evade an incoming punch from behind. Landing gracefully, I immediately transitioned into an ax kick, aiming it precisely at the villain's shoulder. The force of the strike unbalanced them, causing them to topple. In a fluid motion, I seized their leg, using their own weight to hurl them into a group of oncoming assailants, momentarily disrupting their advance.

Mid-maneuver, I sensed an imminent threat—a directed energy blast hurtling toward my left. Swiftly evading, I veered to the side, narrowly escaping the projectile's trajectory. The skirmish continued as I maintained my rapid movement, zigzagging to evade an array of incoming projectiles aimed my way.

Seizing an opportune moment, I closed the distance between myself and a female villain, her long fingernails evoking a sense of danger. Capitalizing on her momentary vulnerability, I unleashed a swift, brutal gut punch that struck with unyielding force. The impact was palpable, effectively winding her as she crumpled to the ground, incapacitated by the blow.

"What's going on here? Who is this kid?!" one of the villains exclaimed as another villain rushed towards me with knives in his hands.

I gave the guy a spinning jump kick, knocking him down with a spin. I then ducked to avoid two punches from behind me. As the two villains were confused, I used the opportunity to get behind them and forcefully slammed their heads together.

As they went down, two more villains were charging at me from my left and right sides while another was going for an attack from above. When they all got close to me, I went for a butterfly kick that was a variation of the 2000* to the two villains at my sides, followed by an upward scissor kick for the guy coming from above, knocking them out. When I landed on my feet, I looked towards the last few villains that decided to target me as I got into my fighting stance. Admittedly, I was beginning to run out of breath.

"Dammit, hold your ground! There's only one of him!" another villain shouted to his comrades.

"As much as I'd love the idea of laying low, I can't do that. They'll just target Ojiro or someone else, and I won't let that happen!" I thought as another villain charged at me with a pipe in his hands.

He swung at me, but I leaned left to dodge it before throwing two jabs at him and knocking him back with a palm thrust. Not giving this guy a chance to recover, I close in on him and thrust my left elbow into his gut before grabbing him by the neck and throwing him down with a chokeslam. As I stood up, another villain took the chance to get close to me and swung his club at my abdomen. The blow knocked the breath out of me as I fell to the ground.

"Shit!" I hissed through clenched teeth, the pain in my abdomen a harsh reminder of recent combat training.

I didn't get much time to think as he stood above me, his club poised to descend upon my face. Swiftly, I elevated my arms, forming a makeshift barrier against the impending strike. At the same time, I quickly kicked his shin, undermining his balance and forcing him to recoil.

Capitalizing on his momentary vulnerability, while he knelt, I drove a punch that propelled him away. Swiftly following up, I delivered a powerful stretch kick to his chin as I regained my footing. The sequence of actions flowed seamlessly, culminating in a resounding success.

Regaining control of the situation, I surged towards the remaining assailant, capturing him in a vice-like grip. Employing my strength, I hoisted him above me, the movement fluid and practiced. With a swift, brutal motion, my claws tore through the air, slashing him upward with a precision that left no room for escape.

Taking a necessary respite, I inhaled deeply, recovering my breath before sprinting towards the direction of Ojiro, my concern and intent driving my every step. As I turned around a corner, my gaze fell upon three villains, their attention seemingly focused on locating him. A split-second later, my eyes registered his action—a tail smack that caught one of the villains off guard.

Ojiro swiftly pivoted, administering a smack to a second opponent, albeit without awareness of the third assailant's impending attack. In the nick of time, I surged into action, my urgency driving me forward. As the third villain poised to strike Ojiro, I dashed towards them. My arm extended, forming an impromptu clothesline that connected with a resounding impact, rendering the assailant unconscious.

"Thanks for the save," Ojiro expressed his gratitude, a smile spreading across his features as he regained his composure. In response, I offered a nod of acknowledgment, accompanied by a reassuring thumbs-up.

"At first, I thought they'd get a group of powerful criminals to simply overpower All Might, but this makes me wonder..." I trailed off as a villain brandishing brass knuckles attempted to catch us off guard. I swiftly evaded his incoming punch with a nimble backward leap, the rush of adrenaline heightening my senses. In one fluid motion, I countered his attack with a precise blow to his face, the impact landing with unmistakable force, rendering him unconscious in an instant.

"Most of these guys are just low-level thugs," I continued, acting as if nothing happened. "From what I can tell, only two or three of them are a big threat. I'm not sure how they plan to kill All Might, but standing around here won't do us any good."

Ojiro nodded, and we turned, our gazes set on the path ahead. Emerging from the infernal chaos of the conflagration zone proved to be a daunting task, each step a precarious dance amidst the flickering tongues of flame that licked at the edges of our resolve. Despite the searing heat and billowing smoke that obscured our vision, a distant explosion reverberated through the air, a stark reminder of the peril that loomed nearby, perhaps in the heart of the central plaza.

"This way!" I called out, urgency lacing my words as I quickened my pace, a sense of determination propelling me forward. With each step, the acrid scent of smoke assaulted my senses, mingling with the faint hint of danger that hung in the air. Yet, amidst the chaos, a familiar scent reached me, a beacon of hope cutting through the haze of destruction. Izuku and Aizawa's scents wafted towards me, guiding our path through the labyrinthine streets and charred debris.

As we neared the central plaza, a scene unfolded before us that sent a jolt of shock coursing through my veins. My heart skipped a beat as the sight of Aizawa, bloodied and battered, greeted us. The image struck me like a physical blow, igniting a wave of horror that washed over me in an overwhelming tide. To my right, I glimpsed Izuku, Tsu, and Mineta standing by the shoreline, their faces reflecting the same mixture of disbelief and dread that gripped my own.

Amidst the chaos of the plaza, a chilling tableau played out before my eyes. The black mist villain materialized beside the blue-haired antagonist, their ominous presence casting a pall over the already tense atmosphere. As they engaged in conversation, a sense of deja vu washed over me, triggering haunting memories of past encounters with brutality and violence. Vivid flashbacks flooded my mind, transporting me back to scenes of carnage and suffering, where I bore witness to the merciless acts of the Shikaku Renmei.

"No... I can't," I whispered, the words barely audible as they trembled on my lips, my body consumed by a profound sense of fear and trepidation.

Amidst the chaos, Ojiro's voice reached me like a distant echo, faint and barely discernible against the backdrop of turmoil. It seemed to fade, drifting away into the recesses of my consciousness, leaving me isolated in a world of my own. Time stretched and twisted, each moment elongated into an eternity as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling before me. My breath grew shallow and ragged, my heartbeats echoing in the hollow chamber of my chest with mounting desperation. In the midst of this surreal suspension, a chilling awareness gripped me—the blue-haired villain, his movements purposeful, began to run toward Izuku, Tsu, and Mineta.

With each stride, a sinister aura radiated from him, thickening the air with an oppressive weight of malevolent intent. The atmosphere crackled with an ominous energy, suffused with the promise of violence and bloodshed. As he surged forward, the world around me seemed to constrict, the shadows closing in as if to swallow me whole. Fear coiled like a serpent in the pit of my stomach, its icy tendrils creeping through my veins, paralyzing me with an instinctual dread.

When I decided to become a hero, I vowed to ensure that people don't experience the same pain I have. If I don't do something here, then all my effort and all I've struggled to achieve will be pointless. I'll lose everything precious to me, just like I did before. And I absolutely refuse to go through that again. If I don't do something, anything at all, then Aizawa and Thirteen's sacrifices would have been in vain.

"NOOOOOOO!!" My voice shattered the tense silence, a primal scream echoing my determination to defy fate and protect those I held dear.

---------------------------------------------------------

-Izuku's POV -

Mr. Aizawa managed to deal with most of those villains so we'd have a chance to escape, but afterward, his energy was worn out. It would be suicide if he were to deal with the last two villains. He may be a hero, but he can't fight against so many villains, let alone one villain who was as buff as All Might in his fighting form. The creature, apparently called "Nomu," just pounded Aizawa's face to the ground, and Mineta, Tsu, and I could only stand still and watch in horror.

"No... No! I can't watch this anymore. We should be getting out of here super-fast, shouldn't we?" Mineta's voice quivered with terror, his words choked by overwhelming fear as he instinctively clasped trembling hands over his mouth.

Speechless, I could only gaze upon the harrowing scene unfolding before us. The once bustling plaza now lay in ruins, with flames licking at the edges of shattered structures and billowing smoke obscuring the sky. Amidst the chaos, Aizawa's bloodied and battered form stood as a grim testament to the ferocity of the villains' assault.

And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the enigmatic figure shrouded in black mist materialized next to the malevolent blue-haired villain. "Tomura Shigaraki..."

"Kurogiri, did you manage to kill Thirteen?" the blue-haired villain asked, his voice carrying a tone of impatience laced with a hint of menace.

"The rescue hero is out of commission, but there were students I was unable to disperse, and one of them got outside of the facility," Kurogiri confessed, his admission accompanied by a subtle undercurrent of disappointment.

"Huh?!" Shigaraki gasped in astonishment, his hands immediately shot to his neck to scratch it vigorously in response to the news. "Kurogiri, you fool... If you weren't our warp gate, I'd tear apart every last atom in your body," he chastised, his frustration giving way to a simmering anger. Gradually, his hands fell from his neck as the frenzied scratching ceased, replaced by a cold determination.

"There's no way we can win if dozens of pros show up to stop us. It's game over; back to the title screen. I was looking forward to finishing this today, damn it. Let's go home." His words resonated with a mix of resignation and lingering frustration, underscoring the abrupt end to their nefarious plans

"Did I hear that right? Did he say they're gonna just leave?" Mineta asked, a glimmer of hope infusing his tone.

"That's what it sounded like to me," Tsu confirmed.

"Yes, that's amazing! We're safe and we don't even have to fight," Mineta whisper-shouted, his relief palpable in the air.

"Uh, yeah. But... I have a real bad feeling about this, Midoriya," Tsu interjected, with the sound of vigorous splashing coming from my left.

"It seems weird that they'd retreat at this point, even if help is on the way," I remarked with a solemn nod, my gaze fixed intently on the villains. "All Might's probably coming. Don't they want to kill him? They must know U.A. will beef up their security after this, so now's their best chance," I thought to myself as I had my doubts that this was "game over" for them.

"Oh, before we leave, let's make sure the Symbol of Peace is broken," Shigaraki's declaration pierced the air like a chilling gust, freezing us in our tracks, a visceral fear constricting our hearts.

With grim resolve, he surged forward, his strides purposeful and filled with a chilling determination, closing the distance between us with alarming speed. "Let's wreck his pride," he added, his hand outstretched, aiming to seize Tsu's face.

-3rd Person POV-

However, before Shigaraki could activate his Quirk to kill the frog girl, a sudden impact struck him with staggering force, wrenching his form away from the trio of young heroes. His body hurtled across the terrain in a chaotic blur of motion, leaving a trail of skids that traced several meters, only relinquishing his momentum as he came to an abrupt, jarring stop.

"What the heck?!" Izuku exclaimed internally, his shock palpable as he redirected his gaze toward the point where the villain had been forcefully propelled away.

A collective gasp swept through the central plaza, stirring a wave of shock and bewilderment among the onlookers. Minds raced, attempting to comprehend the sudden upheaval, yet their contemplation was abruptly halted by a chilling growl that pierced the air like a blade. Faces now etched with unease, the young heroes redirected their attention to the spot where Shigaraki had stood mere moments earlier, only to be confronted by an unexpected presence.

"Tatsuya?" Izuku's voice quivered with both recognition and disbelief, his words breaking the tension that clung to the air like static electricity.

A shroud of silence enveloped the unfolding spectacle, wrapping it in a cocoon of anticipation. The wolf boy stood firm, a living manifestation of smoldering rage, his growl escalating in both volume and menace. His gaze bore into the scene with an intensity that could be felt, a raging fire of fury that scorched the air around him. With fists clenched tightly and trembling at his sides, he embodied a tempest of emotions, vivid memories of his parents' tragic demise flooding his mind, casting a haunting shadow over his consciousness.

Pain and fury surged in unison, driving him into the depths of his emotions. One of his pupils shifted, elongating into a sinister vertical slit, a chilling manifestation of the primal power that lay dormant within him, ready to be unleashed.

"You have a lot of nerve doing that, you brat!" Shigaraki's voice erupted, his fury palpable as his gaze locked onto Tatsuya's. An electric tension crackled between them, the aftermath of their clash hanging heavy in the air, swirling amidst the settling dust.

The prop hand that had once concealed his face now lay discarded on the ground, exposing a raw bruise that marred his right temple—an indelible mark left by the power of the wolf boy's punch. The throbbing pain served as a reminder of the force behind Tatsuya's strike, fueling the fiery intensity of their confrontation.

A primal snarl tore from Tatsuya's throat, its ferocious echoes slicing through the tension-laden atmosphere like a declaration of raw power. Fueled by an unwavering resolve, he surged forward with determined purpose, every sinew of his being alight with determination. Energy surged through his veins, propelling his body forward with a swift, almost electrifying motion. Each heartbeat brought him closer to Shigaraki, his muscles coiling with the promise of an imminent strike. The air crackled with anticipation, the intensity palpable as Tatsuya braced himself for the impending clash.

"Kill him, Nomu!" Shigaraki's command shattered the moment, injecting a new wave of urgency into the already charged atmosphere.

From the twisted maw of the Nomu, a bone-chilling shriek shattered the air, a sound that sent shivers down the spines of all who heard it. The creature hurtled forward with alarming velocity, closing the distance to Tatsuya in the blink of an eye. In a heart-stopping instant, the massive fist of the monster connected with a bone-crushing impact against the wolf boy's side, the force of the blow propelling him through the air in a tumultuous arc of motion.

"Tatsuya!" Izuku cried, his voice laced with desperation as he watched his adopted brother propelled towards a partially collapsed building nearby. With a deafening crash, Tatsuya collided with the rubble, the impact echoing through the air like a thunderclap.

"Guys!" Ojiro shouted, his voice tinged with desperate concern as he sprinted towards the trio of young heroes. "We have to grab Mr. Aizawa and regroup with the others!" His words carried a palpable sense of urgency, fueled by a surge of determination that drove his actions forward.

"But we can't just leave Tatsuya to those guys!" Izuku countered, his voice tinged with a troubled urgency that underscored his vehement objection.

"Knowing Akiba, I don't think it'll take just that one punch to knock him down. Besides, we can't leave Mr. Aizawa out there!" Ojiro retorted with conviction, his words punctuated by a resolute determination. His resolve fueled his actions as he broke into a sprint, heading towards his wounded teacher without hesitation.

"Are you stupid?! We can't fight these guys!" Mineta exclaimed, his words laced with exasperation and fear. Tears welled in his eyes, coursing down his cheeks like a torrent of rushing waterfalls, a visual manifestation of his profound distress.

"It's better than doing nothing, ribbit. Come on!" Tsu said, seizing the arms of both Mineta and Izuku. With determined pulls, she urged them into motion, following Ojiro's lead with resolute determination.

As the young heroes seized the moment to gather around Aizawa and regroup with the others, Tatsuya faced a dire predicament. Buried beneath the oppressive weight of the collapsed structure, he struggled against the confinement that rendered his lower half immobilized and exposed to danger. Meanwhile, with calculated strides, Shigaraki and the formidable Nomu inexorably advanced towards him. Their menacing approach painted a grim picture—their helpless prey cornered and defenseless.

"Could you be any weaker?" Shigaraki's taunt cut through the tense air, his voice dripping with disdain as he maintained a calculated distance from Tatsuya alongside the Nomu. "That punch hurt like hell, but your power is nothing compared to Nomu," he sneered, his words laden with contempt.

"Oh, you poor thing..." Shigaraki's mockery continued, his tone oozing with condescension as he surveyed Tatsuya's predicament. "Your lower body is trapped beneath all that rubble, isn't it?" he mused, relishing in the wolf boy's vulnerability. "I wouldn't try moving if I were you," he added, his words a twisted mixture of amusement and malice.

"A weak loser like you can't possibly fight us now," Shigaraki declared, his voice laced with arrogant confidence. "It's hopeless. It doesn't matter; I'm done with you now," he concluded, dismissing Tatsuya with a callous wave of his hand.

As Shigaraki's words rambled on, Tatsuya defied the oppressive weight of the rubble that had confined him. Rising with an astonishing display of strength, he emerged from the debris as if it were no more than a scattering of cushions, his determination eclipsing the obstacle that had sought to immobilize him.

"Hold on, how can he still be standing?" Shigaraki's mind raced with disbelief, his features contorting into a puzzled expression. "I'm sure Nomu landed a critical hit on him. There's no way he missed!"

Veins swelled beneath the surface of Tatsuya's skin, coursing with an intensity that extended from his arms to his torso and even his visage. With deliberate slowness, he pivoted his head towards the two villains, the transformation reflected in the formidable expression etched upon his countenance—an aura of intimidation that radiated from his very being.

"What's this vibe coming from this kid? Something's different!" A gnawing sensation of unease clawed at the blue-haired villain as he grappled with the mounting pressure that Tatsuya's presence exuded.

In an electrifying instant, before Shigaraki could dwell further on the vexation before him, the wolf boy vanished from view, leaving behind only a lingering trail of motion. Suddenly, with uncanny speed, he reappeared right before Nomu, his right arm poised for a lethal strike fueled by his razor-sharp claws. Foreseeing the impending onslaught, Nomu countered with a powerful right haymaker, but Tatsuya responded with remarkable swiftness, intercepting the monster's wrist with his other arm to divert the blow's trajectory.

Seizing the opportune moment, Tatsuya unleashed a devastating slash that cleaved deep into Nomu's upper arm. With a vice-like grip, he seized the wounded limb, both hands coiling around it like a vise. With a surge of brute strength, he hurled the formidable creature backward. The impact sent Nomu crashing into the very building from which he had emerged. The structure succumbed to the force of their collision, crumbling and collapsing into a heap of debris.

Shifting his focus to the light-blue-haired antagonist, Tatsuya propelled himself forward with a renewed assault. Yet, Shigaraki's response was swift and peculiar—he extended his right hand as though aiming to make contact with the wolf boy. Uncertain about the true nature of his foe's Quirk, Tatsuya deftly maneuvered, sliding beneath Shigaraki's extended arm upon alighting before him. In a calculated move, he executed a sweeping leg motion aimed at unbalancing the villain and undermining his position.

With precision, the wolf boy executed a rapid spin, his uppercut finding its mark with a resounding impact. Shigaraki was propelled upward, suspended momentarily in the air by the force of the blow, before descending to the ground with an audible thud. Without hesitation, Tatsuya seized the opportunity presented by his adversary's momentary vulnerability. Springing into action, he lunged forward, his hands closing around Shigaraki's wrists with unyielding force. With a primal growl reverberating through the air, the wolf boy pinned the villain to the ground, asserting his dominance with an imposing presence.

"Children like you make the League of Villains look like mere prey," Shigaraki sneered, his words laced with venom as he attempted to distract Tatsuya from his hold. Despite his struggles, his efforts proved futile, his immobilized hands remaining powerless against Tatsuya's grip.

"Cut the bullshit! Why are you trying to kill All Might?" Tatsuya growled, his voice edged with a steely determination as he sought to exert an intimidating presence, pressuring the villain to divulge his motivations.

"Is this the way a hero should be speaking? Just the tone alone would send shivers down the spines of anyone who hears it," Shigaraki's voice dripped with venomous sarcasm, his words laden with a sinister undertone that sent a chill down the spine of anyone within earshot. His malevolent smile stretched across his features, exuding a chilling satisfaction as he basked in the unsettling atmosphere he had meticulously crafted.

"Says the guy who attacked a high school out of nowhere," Tatsuya countered with a deadpan expression, refusing to be swayed by the villain's taunting tactics. "The pros will arrive any moment now. You will be put behind bars in Tartarus, and no one else will get hurt by your hand."

"Let's say you do become a hero. What do you even hope to achieve?" Shigaraki asked, his tone laden with a mixture of curiosity and disdain.

"Normally, in a conversation, one answers a question that's asked of them before asking one of their own. Besides, you're not in any position to be making demands," Tatsuya argued, his tone laced with defiance.

"It's not too much to ask. I'll answer your question if you answer mine," Shigaraki insisted, prompting a wry chuckle from the wolf boy.

"Why do you even care? I thought you villains don't give a shit for what other people think," Tatsuya said, his skepticism evident in his tone.

"You're right, I don't. I'm just curious, is all," Shigaraki admitted, his tone betraying a hint of intrigue.

Following that statement, Tatsuya lapsed into a contemplative silence. His thoughts churned like a tempest as he sifted through his emotions, seeking to unearth the most authentic response—one that would echo the depths of his true feelings.

"I don't intend to be the kind of hero that fights villains for the sake of fighting. I've got a better reason than that! I want to be the kind of hero that's a beacon of hope. To protect and provide happiness to the people of the next generation after us... That's why I fight!" Tatsuya declared, his voice resolute with conviction.

"Is protecting weak fools really worth risking your life?" Shigaraki asked, his words dripping with scorn as he fixed Tatsuya with a piercing glare.

"Children observe adults as they grow. Adults, in turn, support the children as they pass it forward to the next generation, and so on. Heroes have always wielded power in the name of that cause, and I want to be a part of that bridge to the next generation of heroes!" Tatsuya replied, his words infused with a profound sense of purpose and determination.

"How fantastic..." Shigaraki remarked, his tone laced with sarcasm, but his expression shifted swiftly to one of grave seriousness. "Nomu."

In a swift and unexpected maneuver, the hulking figure, previously ensnared amidst the rubble of the shattered edifice, lunged forward, materializing at the side of the two combatants in an instant. The sudden appearance caught Tatsuya off balance and momentarily fractured his focus.

"Kill him for real this time," Shigaraki ordered, his voice carrying a chilling edge.

The monstrous entity delivered a swift and forceful kick directly to Tatsuya's chest, causing him to emit a startled yelp as he was hurled through the air once more. His body soared before gravity reclaimed its hold, causing him to collide with the central plaza. His form skidded forcefully upon landing, imprinting a trail in the ground, until he instinctively buried his claws into the earth, halting his momentum. As Tatsuya rose to one knee, his gaze swung back to his previous position, only to see the monstrous behemoth hurtling toward him, its arm coiled for a potent strike.

Reacting with swiftness honed through adversity, Tatsuya charged headlong at the oncoming adversary, intercepting its attack with a resolute punch of his own. The impact of their clash resonated through the air, yet Tatsuya's stance remained unyielding. Swiftly seizing the moment, he extended his arm, slashing with his razor-sharp claws from the creature's left shoulder down to its right waist, a testament to his determination and precision.

Tatsuya surged to his left without pausing, executing another slashing assault against the monster's side. In a seamless flow, the wolf boy launched himself skyward, unleashing a powerful roundhouse kick aimed at the back of Nomu's head. However, before his strike could find its mark, the formidable entity responded with a thunderous backhand, knocking Tatsuya off course and sending him sprawling.

Determined to deny his adversary any respite, Nomu launched himself toward Tatsuya with unwavering resolve, aiming to pummel him just as he had done to Aizawa earlier. Yet, the wolf boy exhibited agility and reflexes, rolling away to nimbly evade the incoming punch before retaliating with a punch of his own aimed at Nomu's eye. However, the monstrous entity remained impervious, unfazed by the impact.

In a swift movement, Nomu seized Tatsuya by the collar of his jacket, effortlessly lifting him into the air before violently slamming him to the ground. The resounding impact echoed through the air, reverberating with the intensity of the attack. In a continuous motion, Nomu threw the wolf boy towards a nearby fountain, the force of the collision shattering the structure upon impact.

Unyielding in his determination, the monstrous being advanced toward the fountain's remains. However, the debris shifted, revealing Tatsuya rising to his feet despite being covered in scratches that stretched from head to toe. Despite his evident exhaustion, he stood defiantly, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he confronted Nomu's imposing figure.

"What's going on? My attacks should be hitting their mark, but this guy doesn't flinch," the wolf boy mused, a tinge of frustration tinting his thoughts. With his strategy evolving, he shifted his direction, veering to the right as he surged forward, poised for his upcoming maneuver.

Nomu, however, intercepted Tatsuya's advance, launching a punch toward him. Swift as a shadow, the wolf boy executed a graceful slide beneath the oncoming fist, seizing the opportune moment to deliver an upward slash to the opposite side of the monster. However, a revelation dawned upon him; the incision he had just inflicted on this creature had already been completely healed as if he had never been wounded in the first place.

"Hold on, this thing can regenerate itself?!" Tatsuya jumped back away from the villain, but his attempt at creating distance was swiftly thwarted as Nomu closed in with alarming speed, landing a powerful punch squarely on his face.

Tatsuya skidded across the pavement until he stopped himself near the entrance stairs. The scents of his classmates wafted to him from atop the stairs. Acting swiftly, he pivoted away from the steps, dashing in the opposite direction and capturing the relentless Nomu's attention. With unwavering determination, he engaged in a tense cat-and-mouse chase.

The wolf boy's senses remained sharp as the monstrous foe closed in, allowing him to evade the outstretched reach with a nimble, graceful backflip. The conflict surged with renewed intensity as Tatsuya launched into an onslaught of punches and kicks, executing each move with precision while skillfully maneuvering to evade the retaliatory strikes.

Amidst the tumultuous clash between Tatsuya and Nomu, their fierce exchange of blows painted a vivid spectacle for the watching classmates. Atop the stairs, a gathering of familiar faces— including Izuku, Tsuyu, Mineta, Ojiro, and a partially conscious Aizawa— stood in awe, their eyes wide with disbelief. Transfixed by the unfolding spectacle, they bore witness to the raw intensity and determination radiating from the wolf boy.

As every strike landed, the air crackled with anticipation, and each nimble evasion showcased Tatsuya's extraordinary agility and skill. A hushed silence enveloped the group, their collective breath held as they fixed their unwavering gazes on the dramatic confrontation between aspiring hero and formidable villain. All understood that the reverberations of this monumental clash would extend far beyond the present moment.

"What in the world...?" Shoji murmured under his breath, his astonishment hidden behind his mask as he supported the injured Thirteen with Sero's assistance.

"Is that really Akiba?!" Sero exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Incredible..." Ojiro managed to utter, his admiration evident in his tone as he watched his friend's display of skill.

"He's actually going toe-to-toe with that thing!" Ashido exclaimed, her voice tinged with awe.

"I know he was a skilled fighter from combat training, but why didn't you tell us he was this powerful?" Uraraka asked, turning to Izuku for answers.

"That's because I've never seen this happen before..." Izuku replied, his voice reflecting his astonishment. He watched Tatsuya's exceptional combat performance, noting the intensity in the wolf boy's expression, a sight unfamiliar to him. "How long can Tatsuya keep this up?"

Returning to the heart of the battle, a tense standoff ensued as the two combatants distanced themselves, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of strategy. Amidst the fray, Shigaraki's maniacal laughter echoed, the sound reverberating ominously as he stood in close proximity to Nomu, his prop hand obscuring his face once more.

"To think you're more of an idiot than I thought," Shigaraki taunted, his voice dripping with derision as he gestured toward Nomu. "Nomu was bioengineered to kill All Might. Hell, his Quirk is Shock Absorption," he declared, his tone laced with disdain. "Did you honestly think that a low-leveled weakling like you has any chance to beat him?"

"Absorption? That would explain why he didn't flinch or recoil from my attacks. This will be a problem..." Tatsuya pondered, his mind racing to formulate a new strategy as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. With a grim realization, he shifted into a defensive stance, preparing for the formidable challenge ahead.

"Of course not. I'd be a complete fool to play a level with impossible difficulty, but what can I say? I'm a persistent bastard," he said, his voice tinged with grit and resilience despite the grim circumstances. With a determined glint in his eyes, he spat out a spatter of blood, a defiant gesture amidst the chaos of battle.

"Have it your way then," Shigaraki remarked in a tone of mild disinterest. With a nonchalant snap of his fingers, he set the monstrous being hurtling towards the wolf boy once more.

"Don't stop. Keep going!" Tatsuya thought, pushing himself to dodge Nomu's attacks and counter with attacks of his own, despite his body starting to slow down under the weight of accumulated injuries.

The battle raged on, a relentless back-and-forth struggle until the relentless assault finally took its toll on the wolf boy. The force of the punches he blocked with his arms began to accumulate, mounting pressure until it proved too much for his left arm to bear. His arm eventually gave in as he struggled, breaking open an opportunity that Nomu took advantage of by delivering a forceful blow to his face.

The impact sent Tatsuya stumbling back, and before he could regain his footing, another punch struck, knocking him onto the ground on his back. As he struggled to rise, he looked up to see Nomu standing ominously before him. Tatsuya's desperate attempts to crawl away from the relentless grip of Nomu proved futile as the monstrous creature seized him by the leg, spinning him around like a ragdoll before ruthlessly slamming him to the ground.

The impact tore a piercing scream of agony from the wolf boy's throat, his voice a quivering mixture of pain and terror. But Nomu was unrelenting; he pivoted and struck again, inflicting another brutal blow that sent Tatsuya crashing against the earth once more. His vision blurred, his screams grew in intensity, and the overwhelming waves of pain consumed his world.

With an eerie determination, the relentless monster seized him by the head, dragging his limp body mercilessly across the rough terrain, inflicting further torment upon the wolf boy. In a final, vicious display, Nomu flung Tatsuya into the flood zone, his weakened figure crashing into the water with a resounding splash. As the monster unleashed a triumphant roar that pierced the air, Tatsuya's body vanished beneath the surface, consumed by the unrelenting forces at play.

The others stood paralyzed, their eyes widening in sheer horror as they bore witness to their classmate's merciless pummeling. Each blow landed with a shattering force, leaving an indelible mark on the minds of all who watched. The girls gasped in disbelief, their hands instinctively flying to cover their mouths, rendering them speechless in the wake of such brutality. Meanwhile, the boys stood slack-jawed, their mouths hanging open in stupefied silence, unable to fathom the brutal tableau unraveling before their very eyes.

Izuku's heart raced as he shook his head, his mind unable to fully grasp the harrowing sight unfolding before him. Tears brimmed in his eyes, a surge of disbelief and powerlessness coursing through his veins as he watched the cruel and unrelenting assault his adoptive brother had endured.

"TATSUYA!!" his cry echoed, a desperate plea amidst the chaos and despair.

"Well then, shall we get to the next level?" Shigaraki asked, his words carrying a chilling weight as he turned his gaze toward the students gathered alongside Nomu. His tone was laden with malice, hinting at the impending danger awaiting them in the next stage of their harrowing ordeal.

A resounding crash reverberated from the entrance, capturing everyone's attention before any further action could unfold. The collective gaze of the group shifted in unison, fixing upon the imposing silhouette that strode into the scene. A mixture of tension and anticipation hung thick in the air as the students' expressions transitioned from apprehension to relief, recognizing the formidable figure that had just made its entrance.

"Have no fear, students." The newcomer, none other than the mighty and furious All Might himself, stormed onto the scene, radiating an aura of anger and determination that left no doubt about his resolve. "Because I am here!"

"We're saved!!" Mineta's jubilant cry echoed through the chaos, tears of relief streaming down his cheeks.

"He's here... And he's not smiling," Izuku murmured, his voice tinged with uncertainty as he observed his revered mentor's uncharacteristically stern expression.

"After all this waiting... the heroic piece of trash shows up," Shigaraki remarked, his tone dripping with disdain.

"The pros will be here soon, so stay safe, all of you," All Might's authoritative command resonated across the chaotic scene, his unwavering gaze directed at the villains looming before him.

"All Might, you can't! That brain villain took all of Tatsuya's attacks and he wasn't fazed at all. He's too strong—" Izuku's attempt to voice his concerns was swiftly cut off.

"Young Midoriya!" All Might's interruption was firm but reassuring as he pivoted, his iconic grin returning as he flashed a peace sign over his eye. "I got this!"

Though doubt lingered in Izuku's mind regarding All Might's chances against such formidable foes, he obediently followed the hero's directive. As All Might surged forward, propelled by unwavering resolve, Izuku's attention shifted back to his classmates and teacher. His gaze settled on Ojiro, who wore a tense expression as he surveyed the flood zone, while the rest of their group watched intently as All Might launched into action, his arms forming an X shape as he closed in on Shigaraki.
