Chapter Ten

Jonas's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, only to discover that it wouldn't make any difference; the room was so dark that I couldn't even see my own hand in front of my face. To make matters worse, my head was pounding so hard it felt like someone was taking a sledge hammer to it every five seconds. I put my hand on my shoulder, feeling the liquid pour from my open wound. I didn't need to be able to see to know that this liquid was crimson, and that it was probably going to kill me if it continued to flow. I just hoped that Elsa, along with the Kings and Queen Lucy, would be alright.

Elsa's POV

I stood in the center of the clearing in the Dancing Lawn after just having dug a small hole. It was about a foot deep and only slightly wider than the Apple. Earlier, I had spoken to Rilian about the information I had discovered, and he said that it would be best to put the Glass Apple somewhere it wouldn't be easily found.

We decided together that that place would be in the ground.

I knelt down to drop the Apple in the hole, when the sunlight was suddenly blocked by someone's shadow.

Rilian's POV

I stepped into my study, walking up to the large window and gazing at the view. That was, until I saw the strangest sight, and when you're King of Narnia, that's very hard to come by. I raced through Cair Paravel, calling for Edmund, Lucy, and Peter.

"Has anyone seen Elsa?" Edmund questioned as I entered the throne room, where we were all meeting.

"She went to bury the Glass Apple," I answered him, "We figured that the best location to place it would be in the ground, where no one would think to look. But she hasn't come back."

"What do you mean Elsa hasn't come back?!" Peter asked frantically, being the last of us to make an entrance.

"Rilian, we have to find her!" Lucy exclaimed.

"What if something happens to her?" Peter ran his hands through his hair and began to pace, tears threatening to flow from his eyes.

Just then, the grand entrance doors to the throne room flew off their hinges, flying across the room. One just barely missed knocking Lucy to the floor. Peter pulled Lucy behind him, shielding her from whatever was about to walk through the doorway.

A man walked through, clutching the Glass Apple in his hand.

Elsa's POV

I opened my eyes and internally questioned why my wrists hurt, before I realized that they were bound tightly behind my back, and my ankles were tied as well. Although, I found I wasn't gaged, and it caused me to wonder why.

I did, however, take advantage of my gag-less mouth. "HELP! SOMEBODY! CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME! HELP!" I cried, but soon learned that it was extremely likely that no one could hear me, and that was why I didn't have a gag.

I thought back on when I was taken. I was just about to bury the Apple, and the man's shadow had blocked the light from the sun, compeling me to look up. Almost instantly, he grabbed my arm and pulled me onto my feet, forcing the Glass Apple out of my hands. He had then pulled something out of the satchel over his shoulder and hit me on the head with it, and my world went black.

I let a few tears fall, closing my eyes. I hoped Peter and the others found me soon.

AHH! There is so much happening! Trust me, the plot is about to get a lot more intense, but the story isn't over yet! Stay tuned, my lovely readers!
