Chapter Eleven
Peter's POV
The man calmly walked through the doorway, the Glass Apple in his hand.
"Your Majesties," he smirked, "So nice to finally meet you."
"Sorry to say," Edmund started, "But the feeling isn't mutual."
"That's to bad," the man replied, "Although I'm sure you'll be much happier to see me when you find out that I could tell you where my daughter is."
"Your daughter?" Lucy pressed.
The man laughed. "Of course, Queen Lucy," he looked around at all of us, "You are acquainted with Elsa, are you not?"
"You're Elsa's father?" I asked.
"Ah, he speaks!" he exclaimed, "Yes, King Peter, I am Elsa's father, but I can't see why my daughter would fancy a man with so little intelligence."
"But Elsa said her father was dead," I countered, ignoring the man's last statement.
"That's what I made everyone think," he began, "I faked my own death," he stated simply, as if he had just told us what he was having for dinner.
"You faked your own death?!" Ed repeated, shocked.
"Yes, I just told you that!" the man complained, "You'd think for kings, they'd be able to hear better," he muttered, most likely thinking we couldn't hear him.
"Where's Elsa?" I demanded, unsheathing Rhindon and aiming it in his direction.
"Don't worry, King Peter, you'll be seeing her soon enough," he explained calmly, before he snapped his fingers, and darkness consumed me.
Edmund's POV
"PETER!" Lucy cried as Peter collapsed to the ground beside her. She kelt down next to him and felt his wrist for a pulse. "He's still alive," she sighed.
"Of course he is," the man chuckled, "I have plans for you four. I wouldn't just kill you."
"What did you do to him?" I interrogated, taking a few steps closer to him.
"Nothing too serious," he shrugged, "He'll only be out for a few hours; don't worry, King Edmund." He looked as if he was in deep thought for a brief moment, then added, "Although he could be out for a few days, as well. I can't remember."
"A few days?!" Lucy screeched, standing up and pulling out her dagger.
"Oh, dear, no need for that," he smiled menacingly. With a flick if his fingers, Lucy's dagger flew out of her hand and across the room. "Now," he continued, "Since that's over...." he trailed off, glaring at Lucy. He snapped his fingers, and Lucy fell to the ground, lying beside Peter.
The next thing I knew, the man had snapped his fingers again, and this time it was Rilian that toppled to the floor. I looked at the man, only to see him staring straight back at me. I knew what was coming. I squeezed my eyes shut and heard the sound of fingers snapping before my legs gave out and I fainted, losing consciousness.
Jonas's POV
I squinted when a sliver if light shown in the dark room, indicating that the door was open. I heard the man throw three things through before he slammed the door shut, once again locking me in.
One of the things, the one that had landed closest to me, groaned, then stirred. Where these people?
"Peter," he/she mumbled, slipping into consciousness. It sounded like a girl. I crept closer to her, noticing that there was actually light in the room for the first time I could remember. I stared down at her face, and drew the conclusion that no, this wasn't Elsa, but that it was Queen Lucy.
"Queen Lucy," I whispered, gently shaking her awake.
Her eyes fluttered open, and she peered at me in the darkness as her eyes adjusted. "Who are you?" she asked.
"It's me, Jonas," I answered her as she sat up. She nodded in response.
"Where's everyone else?"
"He threw two other people in here; I don't know who at the moment, though."
"Two?!"
"Yes."
"But there were four of us. Peter, Edmund, Rilian, and myself."
"What about Elsa?" I pushed.
"We.... We don't know. She had left a while before he took us.... None of us have seen her since."
"Where did she go?"
"To bury the Glass Apple."
"You had it?"
"You were looking for it?"
"Guys, what's with all the arguing?" we heard a voice call on the other side of the room.
"Ed?" Lucy queried.
"Lu?"
"Yes, it's me!" she smiled a little.
"Is that Jonas?" Edmund wondered aloud, watching me.
"Yes," I replied.
"Jonas?" came the voice of the last person, "Lucy, Edmund, where are we?"
"Rilian?" Lucy breathed, "But where's Peter?"
"You mean, he's not here?" Edmund questioned, making his way over to Lucy and I, Rilian following.
"No," Lucy shook her head, "And I don't know where he could be."
Another chapter up, fellow Narnians! It's getting pretty intense, huh? I am going to start writing chapter twelve tonight, but given that I have to go to school tomorrow, I may not be able to finish it before I have to go to bed. However, I will try my hardest! Thank you all for your support! I don't knew where I'd be without you, readers! (Probably in the same place, although I most likely wouldn't be writing on here, because nobody would read my stories, but whatever.) I love you all, my lovely readers!
