Max: Just what kind of principal is he?

Ken: (sighs) This is my bad. I'd forgot to account for the fact that he is some kind of monster.

The principal looked around for a moment before walking to the door. He pulled out a card key.

Rose: Oh no, he's going outside.

Tiffany: Yeah.

Ken: This just got more complicated.

The principal slid the key at the door and opened it. He then began to look outside the door.

Ken: If he goes outside, who knows how long it will be before he comes back inside?

Tiffany: No clue. And we need to get through the front door to get to the van. Any ideas, guys?

Ken: Hmm. Give me a minute.

Max: Nope.

Rose: Sorry, I don't have any.

Luke did not answer.

Tiffany: (sighs) Alright...

Luke: I have one.

Tiffany: Hmmm?

Ken: Well, out with it?

Luke: Well, I'm not gonna enjoy it, but.... just follow my lead. You three should get to the back door of the school. Think you can make it?

He was referring to Ken, Rose, and Max.

Ken nodded.

Tiffany: What about me?

Luke: Just follow my lead. I'll send you guys a signal.

Luke grabbed Tiffany, who instinctively turned her phone on to "call" Ken, and made for the principal just before he got out of the door.

Luke: (thinking: Well... here goes nothing.) Principal Richard! Principal Richard!

Tiffany remained silent and simply walked next to him. Meanwhile, Ken and the other two made for the back door.

Max: What's going on?

Ken: Don't worry about it.

Max: Huh?

Rose: It's ok, Max. We can trust Luke. He's got this.

As they walked through the empty hallway, Ken softly played the audio from Tiffany's phone for Rose and Max to hear.

Max: You can play audio?

Ken: Yes. Yes, I can.

The audio played as so.

Richard: Ah, Mr. Luke Parks, what are you doing here?

Luke: Well, we've been looking all over for you.

Richard: Hmm? You and Miss Chang?

Luke: Yes, you see....

Luke went on to explain that he and Tiffany were orphans and as a result, the both of them wanted to leave by his van, as no one would be coming to pick them up, much to Tiffany, Rose, Ken, Max and even the principal's shock. Tiffany herself tried hard to hide her shock.

There was a silence in the audio and as well as with the teens who were running to the back door.

Max: Woah.

Rose: Luke...

Ken: Huh. Well, whaddya know... I never would have thought of trying that.

The audio continued as they walked outside through the back door without any complications or interferences.

Richard: I see. I am truly sorry about the fact that I had forgotten about your predicament, Luke Parks and Tiffany Chang. Very well. I shall open the door and let you both out.

Luke: Thanks, I appreciate it.

Richard: No thanks necessary. It is my duty, after all.

The principal opened the door wide and let them both out.

Richard: Come with me.

The pair promptly followed after the principal as they walked outside the school towards the area in which all the cars were parked.

The principal remained silent as Tiffany and Luke followed him to the van.

Once they arrived, he started...

Richard: I suppose this is it, Luke.

Luke: Yeah.

Richard: And where might the both of you be going?

Luke: I... ahh.... I actually haven't thought that through too well.

Richard: I see.

The principal stayed silent for a moment as Luke and Tiffany simply looked at him.

Richard: You may try going North to Hypercity Hospital.

Luke: Hypercity hospital?

Richard: Yes. They no doubt have some knowledge of where people in desperate situations are headed to.

Luke and Tiffany were both somewhat touched.

Luke: Principal.. I... thank you.

Richard: No need to thank me. I am simply doing my job.

Ken, Rose, and Max heard it as well by the audio. They remained shocked by his response.

Rose: Principal Richard...

The audio continued.

Richard: Very well. The best to the both of you.

Luke and Tiffany: Thanks.

Luke reversed and made for the back of the school.

Luke: Just gonna go get Tiff's bike.

Richard: Alright.

The principal walked away and walked back into the front door. He had decided to go and check the records for all orphans.

That was the first thought in his mind. He had completely forgotten about that fact in all the chaos, and now he had to remedy that problem.

Luke and Tiffany looked at the principal before Luke reversed the car and drove towards the back of the school.
