Sam and Eva were twins. Sam a boy and Eva a girl. They were just like any other kid on Christmas Eve, anxious, excited, and bouncy. So in a nutshell. They were still awake. Eva was quietly playing with her dolly, while Sam played with his Tonka Trucks. A soft yellow glow eliminated from their bedroom door. Eva looked over to Sam and Sam looked back over to Eva.
They nodded agreeing to investigating the strange glowing door.

As they stood up off the floor and made their way to the door, their curiosity grew.
"Let's do it together"
Eva whispered to her brother as she grabbed his hand and held it tight. He nodded as he softly placed his hand on the door knob, Eva doing the same soon after.

They pushed the handle down causing the door to open revealing the glowing Christmas tree. As they looked under the tree they were disappointed to find no trace of presents anywhere. Their stockings were still hung upon the mantel, empty.
