Chapter 6

I had to talk to Dianna. I walked to her house, waiting to see what she had to say.

"Dianna, I know it was you," I said, standing right in front of her.

She looked confused.
"What was me?"

I sighed, "I don't want to do this, Dianna. Just tell me why."

"I don't know what you are talking about, can you just explain?"

"Dianna, stop. I am not stupid, I know you stole the supplies we need for soccer. I know you did-" she wouldn't let me finish my sentence, "What? Rachel, no. I wouldn't do that!"

"Then why did I find them in your house?" I raised my eyebrow, waiting to hear her response.

"In my house? What- but I didn't! And why were you sneaking around my house?!"

"That doesn't matter now, just tell me the truth."
I was serious, but she wanted to do it the hard way.

"Get off of my property."
She turned her back to me.

"Fine, after you confess!"

"I didn't!"

"Tell the truth!"

"Please, Rachel! I didn't!"

"I've already given them back to the coach. Now, just tell me the truth, please!"

"I already have. I'm serious- wait! If I didn't do it, then that means someone broke into my house!"
She seemed serious, and frightened by the fact that someone could've stolen something. I had to help her. The coach was already on her way to Dianna's house, and I had to prove her innocence.

"Okay, you know what? Coach Davis is on her way to your house, and I'll have to prove that you are innocent." I said, not smiling though.

"Thank you?"

She pulled up in front of Dianna's house.
"She won't believe you, coach Davis never liked me." Dianna frowned.

I looked back at her, wanting her to hush.
"Coach Davis, I have to tell you something!" I ran over to her car.

"What?" She replied.

"Dianna Willis is innocent!"

Dianna blushed, probably because I was actually taking her side.

"No. She's not. Rachel, move aside, I'm going to tell her parents what she did."
She said, firm, pushing me aside.

"No! Please! Coach Davis!"

"You know what? You have the end of the day to prove that she is innocent." She said, getting into her car.

"Dianna, did you hear that?"

"Yep, thank you, Rachel. But you're never going to prove me innocent."

"Huh?" I asked.

"Rachel, look, no one's going to come clean, just forget it."

"No. Come with me."

-

I dragged her to my house.

"We're going to solve this mystery. After all, I am the Christan athlete, and Jesus can help you, I just need you to believe!"

"Rachel, I do. Can you-- help me-- get-- Saved?"

"Dianna, yes!" I smiled, and dragged her to my room.

"How?" She asked.

"You have to get down on your knees, bow your head, and close your eyes. Then, pray."

"Dear Jesus, please come into my heart, and forgive me, for all of my sins and for not believing in You. I believe that You can hear me, and that You will listen to me and help me. I believe in You. And I am ready to accept You into my heart. Please, I need You, Lord, I need you," she cried, and continued, "Thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins! I Love You, Jesus. Thank you for bringing me this far, You are the King, of kings, and I will accept You into my heart, please, forgive me, Jesus."

It is amazing how Jesus can turn a heart to Him.

Now, I just had to worry about helping Dianna...and my dad.

"Dianna, since you're a Christian, can you please pray for my dad?"

"Of course, Rachel."

-

We went off with Caroline, to find out who was framing Dianna.

"Um, let's try Bridget's house!" I said, and we went there.

"Oh, hey. What do you guys want?" She had a fake smile on, still angry with me.

"Did you do it? Did you frame me?!" Dianna came off rude, shouting at her.

"No, but ask Georgie, if anything, you can get it out of her," replied Bridget.

"Come on," Dianna walked away, going to Georgie.

"Georgie! Did you frame me with the soccer items, stealing them, then making it look like I did it?!"

"What? No, Dianna!" Georgie looked towards me, "Rachel."

I walked away, and went home with Caroline and Dianna behind me.
I laid smack down on my bed.

"If none of our friends did it, then who did?" I asked.

"I don't know, but you don't have to do this, Rachel!" replied Dianna.

"Dianna, we're your friends, let us help you," Caroline smiled.

"Yeah, Dianna, let us help you!" I smiled, and we hugged each other.

I looked out the window.
"Oh no, guys! Look!" I couldn't believe my eyes!

"Woah, ANGELA?!" Dianna shouted.

Angela was sneaking the soccer items back to Dianna's house!

"Come on!" Caroline ran, with us behind her.

"Angela, stop!" Dianna shouted.

"Oh, Dianna, it's not what it looks like!" She tried to cover up.

"No, I think it's exactly what it looks like!" Caroline said.

"Okay, fine. I framed you. What are you gonna do, put me in jail?" Angela laughed.

Dianna crossed her arms, "Why would you do this, Angela?"

"Because! I'm jealous of you, and I knew Rachel would help you, so I could make you both look bad," she crossed her arms.

I called coach Davis.
I know it's weird that I have her phone number.

Coach Davis, I know who stole the supplies we need for soccer.

Uh huh.

Angela Johnson!

Yes.

I'm sure, coach Davis.

Bye.

I hung up.

"Coach Davis is coming," I told them.

Angela started crying, "Look, girls! I'm sorry, I was just so mad, everyone thinks I'm so perfect! But I'm not! Please forgive me!"

We hugged her, "It's okay, but coach Davis is still coming."

"I know. I deserve whatever punishment my parents give me for stealing." She said.

We left.

Dianna and Caroline went home, so did I, waiting for tomorrow to come.
