Jane

I rolled my eyes as I went back to reading, trying to ignore his very hostile present. I was about to turn the page when the magazine was off the table and flying across the room slamming the wall, getting people standing in line to take notice. I looked back at River was all but foaming at the mouth for anger.

"What the hell did you do that for? I was read that" I snapped at him as I wanted to dig my nails into the stupid dark green eyes

"Do you have any idea how close I came to calling your father and what he would have done when he found out where you were" I basically growled at me as I rolled my eye sitting back against my chair

"I think the better question is what is he going to do when he finds out that while you were 'supposed to be'?" I said using air quotes "Doing your job, you were screwing some whore in a dressing room" I said as I smiled at him feeling very please with myself

"Oh I see what going on little princess just has her panties in a twist because I didn't fall for your silly little scheme earlier and then saw some bitch on her knee, which makes you jealous as hell" he said and I snapped and didn't really think just acted

I didn't fully realize what had happen to the entire Starbucks had gone completely silent. Every person including the workers were just staring at River as I was. River was visibly shaking trying to control his angry as my tea slowly ran down his entire body. His face and neck where red form how hot my drink was hitting his flesh. River eyes were still closed tightly and was gripping the side of the little round table hard. I just sat there frozen waiting for his reaction to me throwing a burning hot drink on him. He finally opened his eyes and looked directly at me as eyes piercing me with fear I had never felt before.

"River, I ... I didn't ... mean to do that" I stuttered out as he finally exploded one he heard me speak

As he stood up through the table to the table out of his way causing it to smash into tables nearby. River was standing in front of me gripping onto the back of my chair. His face was only a few inches away from mine and I could tell had really crossed a line that was not going to be good.

"You little bitch, you are going to wish you never meet me when I'm done with you" River grabbed my arm yanking me off the chair forcefully, causing pain to shoot up my arm.

I fell to the ground as I couldn't catch myself from him yanking me up. I turned and looked at him in utter shock at as he throws my purses at me that had hung on the back of the chair. I caught it luckily before it almost hit my face as I heard people talking louder in the little shop. I couldn't hear what they were said as all I could hear was my frantic breathing and heart rate from the fear I was feeling. River grabbed my arm again pulling me off the floor, as I let out a scream from the pain he caused when his hand gripped me. He ignored my protest as he grabbed the back of my neck and shoved my toward the exit of the Starbucks.

"Hey man leave her alone" I heard a man shouting loudly nearby as River stopped pushing me, but still had his hand gripping my neck

"Back off, this is none of your business" I heard River say in a deep menacing voices as I tried to look to see the person that was attempting to be my savior, but River grip tightened as I yelped again and felt water hit my chest and I realized I was crying

"It is my business when you're abusing a girl, so let her go and get lost before we call the cops" I felt his grip adding pressure again as I was shoved and clasped falling to the ground again.

"You need to back off I'm not going to tell you again man, she is not your business" I could tell by River voice he was getting angrier, and I could see he was now getting closer to the man who was confronting him

This guy was about the same height as river, but clearly didn't have the type of muscles river had. I tried to get up as I felt genital hands wrap around me as I looked to see Courtney looking really freaked out by what was going on. Next to her was a guy I had seen at the club last night. He saw watching River intently as I glanced back to see the workers and other customers looking freaked out and unsure of what was going on

"You made it my business" as the guy shoved River causing him to rock back on his heel and I heard the guy next to Courtney course.

It was like a time slowed down, as I watch River arm fly back then shoot forward with such a forces. The sound when river fist hit the man's face was horrific I screamed as many other in the store did the same. My savior went flying backwards crashing into a chair and then the ground. I didn't notice river turn and stride toward me. I couldn't take my eyes off the man who tried to help me laying unconscious on the ground as people rushed and screamed around me. I only realized I was being dragged out of the store when the pain in my wrist became too much that I instinctively pulled it to me as hard as I could.

River looked beyond words describe angry as Courtney grabbed me pulling me back, as I assume was her bodyguard blocked River intend the path to grab me again.

"River calm the fuck down now!" he said in a hard voice, which looked like it enraged River more

"Get out of my way Vincent before I knock you out as well" River said in a low tone

"River you need to get you anger in check before you do more damage, you're already hurt Jane and she is going to have bruise" Vincent said as he pushed River back, but this time River didn't react as he did in the Starbucks "now we need to get out of here quickly I'm sure they have already notified the cops, so we all need to leave now" he said quickly as I could see something in River mind connect to what This Vincent guy was saying.

River just nodded and turned and started walking to toward the parking lot. I was watching River very closely as I waited for him to snap and go crazy again. I could see River car in the distances and stopped walking as Courtney looked at me crazy

"Jane what are you doing?" she looked at me in shock as Vincent and River turned around looking at us

"I'm not going anywhere with him" I shouted as I pointed at River

River started walking toward me as I started backing up away from his approach. I grabbed my upper arm and started dragging me toward his car. His grip was not as tight as it had been earlier as I was able to keep breaking loose, but he caught his grip quickly and continued pulling

"No, I am leaving with Courtney, I am not going anywhere with your psycho monster" I shouted as I continued to fight

"Jane, we don't have time for your hissy fit, the cops are coming" River said

"I can hear them Jane, just go with him we will be right behind you and follow him to your house" I heard Courtney say as I finally released the police sirens were becoming louder as I could see them in entering the parking lot as River grabbed me and started pulling me faster toward his car I watched as the policies seem to speed across the empty parking lot in our direction. River shoved my toward the passenger door as he hoped over the hood of the car and unlocked the door as shouting started

"Freeze, don't move stay where you are" I heard a man shouting as I glanced up at River how once again looked angry "back away from the car and slowly and put your hands on your head" I did as the man commanded

I looked over toward the cop that was standing bracing himself against his door as he pointed a gun toward up and another car pulled up and the other man did the same.

"Turn around and walk backward toward us slowly" he shouted and I didn't understand why he was treating both of this way when clearly it was only River that should have had this treatment. I felt cold hand grab my wrist and yank them down in a painful motion, I let out a yelp as I felt cuffs put on my wrist.

"Hey, don't you dare touch her like that again" I heard river shout as the man that was placing his handcuffs on him shoved him down so his upper torso was lying against the trunk of his car.

"Don't speak unless we tell you to" he said as he did something which looked a little odd from the angle I was standing at "I'm going to search you do you have any weapons or drugs I should be aware of, and don't lie to me it is only going to make things worse" I could see River rolling his eyes

"Yeah, I have a concealed weapon in my back I'm sure you can see the shape through my shirt" he said almost amused voice" the cope that had put my handcuffs on pulled to his car and opened the back seat and forcefully put me in slamming the door

I sat there confused as I watch as the cop search River and pulled out the gun he was talking about. I was kind of happy that he was able to not lose all of his control and not pull out his gun and shoot anyone. I watched as they took River to the other car and shoved him in the back as both one cope started searching River car and I could see the other search my purse that was now sitting on the trunk. He took my wallet out and look at what I guess was my driver's license and looked at me then turned toward the other cop and started talking and messing around with the radios.

The cop that had put me in the car, was laughing as he spoke on his radio and I didn't like the way he was grinning at me. As he walked back over toward the car. He sat in the car silent as he started it up and began driving away. I felt panicked because the other cop was still going through River car and not pulling with us.

"Where are you taking me?" the cop didn't even glances in his mirror "hey I'm talking to you pig, where are you taking me?" I screamed as I kicked the wall that separated the front and back

"Calm down child, I am taking you in for booking" he said with a smile

"Why I didn't do anything wrong, River the one that hit that dude" all the cop did was laugh

"We know" he said as he continued to drive as I sighed in frustration at this stupid cop

"Wait tell my father here about this, you're going to get in a lot of trouble I mumbled angry that he was actually talking me to jail

"Threatening a cop are we" he said in an amused tone "as a heads up child, your father is nothing more than a criminal and we are not frightened of him or his friends"

I sat there shocked for a few minutes as I repeated his words in my mind, and thought how stupid this guy was not too frightened of him. We drove for a long time until we turned into an underground parking lot. The cop parked and got me out of the car and walked me toward a door. a woman cop was waiting on the other side and took my arm and pulled me to a room that was small and felt really weird. She unlocked the cuffs and I turned to see her closing the door as she locked it from the inside

"Okay I need you to strip all your clothing off" the women cop said as I just stood there, in shock of what she just asked

"Yeah I don't think so" I said as I looked at her like a crazy person

"It is procedure I need you to strip so I can check to make sure you have no hidden weapons or drugs on you" I shook my head no

"I have none of those things, so there is no need for me to get naked" I said as she shook her head

"Sorry, you're going to need to strip, the faster you comply the sooner we can get you out of here and on your way home, if you don't then you will be staying here until you do" she said in an irritated voice

I slowly obeyed the women because I really did want to get out of here and be at home. This day had become horrible and I was not in a police station stripping which seemed mind-blowing. I felt violated and humiliated that I was put through this. I also was ferrous that I was being treated like a criminal when I was technically the victim in the case, here I was naked in a small cement room.

"Okay put your clothes on and I'll take you to the holding tank where you will wait" she said

"I have to wait why? I didn't do anything wrong?" I said as I rushed to put my clothing on

"You're a minor at a crime scene, plus the other person you were with had an unregistered weapon on him and in his car." she said, as she opened the door

"It is procedure to have you searched as well since you were with a person that is classified as part of a dangerous organization that is controlled by your father"

"Why could I be searched at the mall so I could have called a friend to take me home"

"Because rules, you are underage female and a male cannot search you, so no sexual harassment charges could be filed

"This is ridicules" I said as she brought me to a cell that had another girl lying on the top bunk.

I sighed at least she was asleep, and I wouldn't have to deal some girl who was a criminal. I sat on the bottom bunk and felt like crying from everything I was put through. River and is insane behavior, the fight in the Starbucks, getting arrested was not what I had in mind today.
