I secretly watched River out of the corner of my eye as he drank his beer and I tried not to grin, but it was hard. Hopefully it would make River loosen up and have some fun like he was earlier when we destroyed that idiots David's cars. Glancing over at Tiffany who looked almost sad and kept her eyes glued to the table. Maybe this would help cheer her up as well, and we all could have a super fun night. I knew my dad was mad, but I was pretty sure it was just a front, he wouldn't replace River for any of this. Plus, River is like a golden child and the son of his best friend, it would be silly to replace him and upset his own bodyguard and my mother's best friend.

I kept drink my beer reasoning with myself that it wasn't a mistake as I chugged the last of my beer. It tasted almost sour and I feared they might have noticed as I glanced around and saw mark staring at Tiffany, who was still staring gloomy down at the table.

"is there something wrong Tiffany?" he said as she looked up startled at him then glanced at me, I gave her a look that said that was irritated

"no, was just thinking about dancing, I kind of want to dance" she said as I uncontrollable started giggling

"what so funny about that?" mark said looking at me weird look

"I don't know, but I kind of feel like dancing myself" I said as a feeling of intense energy started growing in my chest

"I have to use the restroom don't even think about running off" River said as he pointed at me with a serious look, but something about the way he spoke made it seem like he was being playful and I started giggling again as Tiffany joined in

"you two are acting really weird" Mark said as he rubbed his hands against his face and took a deep breath "wow these beer are hitting me pretty hard" and we broke out into another fit of giggles, including Mark

"I still want to dance" Tiffany said no longer looking gloomy and I smiled wide at her

"let's go dance, I want to dance we should totally dance now!" I said overexcited and tired not taking off running

"no, river said not to run off" he said grabbing my wrist so I could run away "wow you have soft skin" he said as he started rubbing his hand on my arm while the sensation felt really intense and I felt kind of weird

"hey, stop touching her, you're not hers!" Tiffany practically screamed as I started at her confused, as mark instantly pulled away from me and looked like and ashamed child

"Tiffany what are you talking about? Why are you so upset?" I said as words just flowed at of me and I became instantly sad because she was so angry at something so stupid

"he is not yours, you have your own boy leave mine alone" she said glaring at me and I just didn't understand what are why she was saying that

"I'm sorry Tiffany, I shouldn't have touched her, but you need to remember to keep your mouth shut before you say something you're not supposed" Mark said as he moved into River empty chair

"say what, what are you not supposed to say, I want to know tell me, Oh I like this song" as I heard a new song starting to play as I looked at the crowd dancing and the lights flashing over the crowed and I was internally captivated by the lights.

The lights flashed, but it was like they were frozen and slowly dissipated as the crowd moved in fast slow motion. My mouth became extremely dry as I watch and wanted to join in as it was hypothesizing and I needed to be in the center. I felt a hand drag across my back slightly and its I felt like I wanted to faint from how wonderful it felt as I whipped my head around to see who cause that wonderful feeling. Mercedes was standing next to me smiling as she glanced over at mark and Tiffany, as I did the same and screamed. Not sure why I reacted that way, but seeing Tiffany sitting in marks lap and him practically chewing her neck off like he was a vampire without fangs trying to drink her blood.

"well seems like everyone here is having a good time" Mercedes said laughing as Tiffany opened her eyes and turned bright red as mark started rubbing his face against.

"you two are going to get in so much trouble" I said point at them "your dad going to kill him" I said almost scared as grabbed my beer and tried taking another drink, but it was empty and I pouted

"thrust little Jane" Mercedes said as I pouted at her and shook my head yes "okay let's go get you a drink of water I think you all need one" she said speaking in a baby voice 

She grabbed my wrist and I hopped off my chair and almost feel to the ground, but quickly saved myself. It felt so strange and foreign to be walking as I fixated at the feeling of walking, how the leg swung forward as the knee bent, but only slightly. The amazing aspect how the heel of my foot touched the slightly sticky floor as, I wonder where my shoes had disappeared to. I could have sworn I had shoes on when I got here. I stopped walking and looked up trying to figure out why we weren't moving anymore, as I came face-to-face with my uncle

"Uncle Dean!" I shouted so happy to see in I smiled big and tried climbing onto the bar so I could hug him as he looked at me like a stranger

"no no Jane lets not climb" Mercedes said as I looked at her pouting and giving her puppy dog eyes I wanted to hug my uncle.

"Mercedes, what have you done?" I heard Dean say as I looked back at him confused

"I'm trying to help" she said as Dean shook his head

"Mer you should have not gotten involved in this. Everything was going just fine" Dean said as he slammed his hands down on the bar looking extremely mad and I felt like running away I didn't like dean mad

"Yeah! Them killing each other is going fine," she shouted back as he shook his

"this is all on you, when my brother finds out what you've done, I can't protect you" he said frustrated

"you worry too much love" she said leaning forward as she dragged her finger down her arms "still love me right" Mercedes said as dean side and shook his head yes and another scream left my mouth

"are you going to be my aunt?" I said overly excited and happy I couldn't stop jumping around at the idea of Mercedes being my cool auntie

"you take care of this got it!" dean said as he pointed at me as I grinned like a Cheshire cat

"don't worry so much, I got them under control, we also need water and a lot don't want the children getting sick now" she said smiling as dean rolled his eyes as he moved over and got a bunch of water bottles in his hands and I remembered how thirsty I was and I practically snatched one out of his hands and started to drink the delicious water that was amazing

"so you say you're helping?" Dean said as he looked at Mercedes smugly and I watched them curious what they were talking about

"yes trust me, I'm positive this will work a lot faster than leaving it up to chance" She said as Dean crossed his arms smugly

"then explain how that is helping" he said pointing off to the left of me, which I wiped my head around in the direction he pointed

I looked around trying to figure out what they were talking about, but I couldn't really see anything except for people standing around near the bath. Until I noticed a group of girls that were being overly giggly which made me roll my eyes and I noticed River standing with thing and his arms around one of the girls. Turning my head away from them I became ferrous at how much of a selfish pic man whore he was. I couldn't run off and have fun or do anything, but he is big pig headed hypocrite, that goes off at every chance and hooks up with ridiculously ugly girls thought I finished my water bottle and slammed it on the bar top and stormed off toward him. That dick thinks he can have fun and I can't, he got another thing coming. I was ferrous as I walked up to the small group of girls glaring furiously

"River!" I shouted at him and everyone jumped as he looked around startled

"Jane!" River said smiling removing his arms from the girl it was currently around and wrapped his big arms around me squeezing me tightly and all the anger went away as the feeling of his touch drove me insane and I just wanted him to touch me more, then I remember that he had probably just slept with all these stupid slut a second ago and pushed him away. He stumbled back confused

"why are you with the stupid sluts!" I shouted at him as he looked at me almost pouting

"hey bitch chill out, and don't call us a slut cause your boyfriend drunk and you were watching him closely" the girl who had recently had rivers arms around her yelled at me "first I have a man, he came stumbling out of the bathroom, I apparently catch him and he just stood here talking" I was going to help him find you. He kept saying how he need to get back to you" she said ferrous as I pouted feeling a little ashamed at my reactions

"sorry" I said feeling bad as I stood there feeling really unsure about what to do as I felt a hand wrap around my wrist to look over to see I nervous looking Mercedes

"I'm sorry about this ladies, ask for Dean at the bar and tell him Jane here is getting you your next round" she said as she started pulling me away from the girls

Mercedes dragged me behind as I felt bad for yelling at strangers and acting like a crazy person and I don't even know why. Who cares if Rivers is a man whore who liked ugly sluts, what did it really matter to me? We had stopped as I kept looking at the ground as I noticed the bright orange of the souls or my shoes lying under the table. I started giggling and I pulled my arms free of Mercedes, and started crawling on the ground to get them.

"Jane! off the ground!" I heard Mercedes say

"no I want my shoes" I shouted back at her as I was close enough to reach them

"why are you not wearing your shoes? That super gross Jane" I heard Tiffany giggling as I giggled myself

"well okay then, maybe we should get you all out of here to a safer place" Mercedes said as she

"I don't know, I only realized like a second ago I want wearing them and I was like my shoes I'm getting them on" I said as everyone laughed and I felt hands wrap around my waist and pull me up off the ground as I looked up to see river standing there smiling and I giggled

shook her head confused like as I leaned against river more as he wrapped his arm around the front of me pulling me closer

"No!" Tiffany shouted which got my attention quickly "Mark said we could dance, I want to dance" she said point off in the direction the dance floor.

I don't know now how long I had been Mercedes by the lights and the flashing I couldn't look away. The music was captivating me and it felt as if my body had to move and the song was in control of me. I just wanted to be in the crowed it was like an addiction and was all I could focus on. I just felt the need to be in the center of it like it was calling for me. People were dancing, moving in ways like I had never seen before. I felt hand on the side of my face as they forced me to look away which I didn't want to, I fought against it. But once I was looking directly into a grinning river face, I smiled at how sweet he looked when he smiled

"you should smile more, I like it when you smile" I said as he grin got even bigger and chuckled

"you want to dance?" He said as I shook my head rapidly, I really wanted to dance, scratch that I need to dance. I looked over at Tiffany and grabbed her hand and we almost feel as I tried to run off to the dance floor, but luckily mark and River caught us and we started cracking up laughing.

"just don't leave and make sure you come off the dance floor to get some water every now then" Mercedes yelled as I rolled my eyes. She sounded just like a nagging mother as we made our way down the stairs to the crowd of dancing bodies.

I need to dance watching was memorizing, but one in the center of the dance floor and everyone moving around you quickly, feeling the heat rising and the music pounding sent my body into overdrive. I like dancing, but this was different this was amazing I felt like I could dance forever and I never want to quite. Rivers hands stayed steadily on me as we danced together. Everything made me feel so good the light, the music, the heat, River breathing in my ear I just felt like I would explode soon if something didn't give. It was too much and yet I need more

"Jane!" I opened my eyes to see a man who looked familiar standing there smiling next to me.

"back off, she mine!" River said clutch onto me tighter and I felt uncontrolled moan slipped out as my entire body craved and tingled at his words.

"Chill boy, I don't what your girl I came barring gift you y'all" he said holding up water bottles and a gasped at the realization how thrust I was

Both me and River grabbed the two bottles in his hand and I chugged it in one gulp it was amazing the effect of a simple water bottle. I looked up at the man and remembered that this was the same guy who had given me the pills earlier. I smiled at him as he offered another water bottle and I took it, drinking half of it quickly, then I realized how hot and sweaty I felt as and took the bottle and dumped it on myself. It was cold and beautiful feeling the crowded around me cheered and I felt water, flying all around me as other had the same idea.

"I got another little gift to top y'all off for the night, stick yo tongue out" he said as both me and River did as he said "just a little more to get you to the break of dawn

He said as I saw another one of his pills that he broke open and split it in half. He bumped each half of the capsule on both our tongues and I quickly sipped what little water I hadn't and dumped it on myself. I smiled at the realization of getting more of this feeling and how wonderful it was going to be after this. I looked up at river who looked almost sad as I stopped dancing because I became extremely worried about him

"you drugged me" he said as I froze in realization that he figured out what I had done

"River I'm sorry I just wanted to have fun with you" I said wrapping my arms around his neck, as he smiled

"you want to have fun with me?" he said pulling me closer as I was filled off the ground and spun around "I'll give you fun" he said as I started laughing.

6 HOURS LATER

I was awoken when my uncomfortable pillow quickly disappeared and my head hit something hard and damp feeling I sat up. Slowly as my head was throbbing and I could smell vomit as my stomach began to turn and I wanted to puck.

"anyone care to explain who we end up here?" River said sitting up against a tree

He looked like he had been up all night, his hair was a mess, kind or was shaking and he was breathing loudly. I looked away quickly he would murder me right here if he knew what I had done to him last night. But he didn't ask that in truth I don't remember how we got here. I remember being in my uncle's club dancing then leaving, river got in a fight with the press. After that, everything becomes dark and unclear I remember a house and a car ride, and a gas station, and there was a blond guy, but what the blond guy had

"What happened last night?" River shouted and I jumped at the sound of his voice

"River relax, stop yelling my head hurts" Mark said

"Jane tell him" Tiffany said angrily as I glared at her with ferrous of a volcanic eruption

"Tell me what" River said in a menacing voice that sent shivers down my spin as Tiffany laid back down on the groaned as she held her stomach

"Jane!" he shouted as I shrank into myself and tear started to well up in my eyes "Jane what did you do!" he screams and the tears started flowing from my eyes and I could stop them. River stood up and wrapped his hand tightly around me and yanked me off the ground and he made me face him as the tear kept falling "answer me now Jane!" he said as I tried to speak, but was so frightened and the tears were choking me up as I felt River hands tighten and pain radiated out from where his finger dug into my arms and I cried out in paint.

"River let her go" I heard mark yell next to me as I cried more

"I...I'm..." I tried saying, but I could speak as River shock me and I cried more

"Your what Jane! What did you do!" he screamed at me as I feel to the ground looking up to see Mark shoving River away as he tried to swing at him, but luckily Mark was fast and avoided River fist. I cried as I felt Tiffany arms wrap around me as I sobbed uncontrollably.

"River I don't want to fight you, but you need to fucking relax before I beat the living shit out of you for hurting Jane the way you did" Mark said shoving River away as he stood there furiously with murderous desires "Jane what did you do to us?" Mark said not looking at me, but facing River as they had an intense stare down.

"I'm sorry" I said between sobs "I just wanted us to have a little fun" I said as mark sighed

"what did you do" he said again almost sounding disappointed

"Mercedes gave us some pills and we put them into your drinks, we took some too" Tiffany said as she rubbed my back trying to calm me down.

After Tiffany spoke, River was glaring at me, and I just wanted to become invisible so he couldn't see me anymore. He didn't even say anything and just walked off without saying a word, as Mark sat down a few feet away from us shaking his head.

“I'm sorry” I said as Mark just shook his head some more

“Jane you really fucked up, I don't think I can help you anymore” he said getting up and walking off in the direction that River had gone in, as more tears fell.
