The dark room slowly starts to light up as the sun rises. Everyone was still sleeping, except one. The kid from before was up, he couldn't sleep. He didn't know if he could trust these people. Sure he got a few hours of sleep but thats all he needed. 

He slipped on his shoes and walked towards the door. He gripped the handle tightly and began to turn it. The door creaked as it opened and he clenched his jaw together. Once the door was fully open, he walked out and left the room. 

Walking down the hallway, the sound of someone else walking around was heard. He froze and looked around for something to hide in. The door in front of him opened a bit but was stopped when the person on the other end forgot something. tevonye walked towards the door and peaked in. On the other side, was a room, it looked to be almost full with things. A computer, t.v., shelves, books, games, everything that you would need. 

Tevonye leaned on the door a bit, making it open. He fell on the ground and saw the two in the room. Both male, one was tall, and had blue eyes. The other was shorter and had a mixture of colors for his eyes. Tevonye got up and ran down the hall way. 

He tripped on the carpet a bit but caught himself, not like it mattered because once he did, arms wrapped around him and they pulled him back. 

The boy gasped and was ready to scream for help but a hand was pressed against his mouth. He yelled but it came out muffled. He kicked the guy in the shin and he let the boy go. Tevonye ran down the hall and towards the stairs. Before he could even make it half way, he was grabbed again and he screamed. 

" Hey, don't worry. calm down." The boy looked at the person and it was Luke. He didn't trust him and he still wanted to be let go. 

" Luke you know him?" Tyler asked, he pointed at the kid to show his confusion. The kid stopped moving around as he just realized that the man holding him was shielding his body with his own. luke let the kid go a bit and he stood there. 

" Don't worry, this is my friend Tyler." luke introduced the two. Another figure walked around the corner and stood next to Tyler. 

" Oh and that's Mini." Luke added. Mini waved and the kid backed away from the amount of people. 

" How many people are here?" Tevonye asked. Luke counted his friends in his head and came up with the total number of five friends. 

" Here how about this? you two go get the others and you and me can sit on the couch." Luke shooed the two off and they went to go get the others. Luke walked towards the kid and they went down the stairs. Luke sat the kid down and luke took another look at the kid. 

While the kid was looking around the room, the sound of others running down the stairs was heard. The kid quickly got up and ran behind luke. the group of friends ran into the room and looked at the kid that was hiding. 

" Guy's sit down, your freaking him out!" Mini yelled as he got the others to calm down and sit on the couch. Luke looked down at the kid and sent him a warm smile. The kid relaxed a bit and showed himself a bit more. 

" Ok, so this is Tevonye..." Luke went on with the introductions and let the others ask questions. 

" Why are you here?" "How did you get here?" "Where are your parents?" "How old are you?" All the same questions from the night before. The kid continued to hide as the questions were shot at him. Another person walked through the door and the kid's eyes snapped to him. 

The man known as Xavier walked into the room and noticed the child. He sent a confused look to everyone and asked the famous question. 

" Who is the child?" Luke rolled his eyes. obviously not wanting to go over this again. Mini turned in the chair he was sitting on and told Xavier the kids name. 

" He can't be here." Xavier's tone of voice made everyone go silent. " You can't have a human kid in a house with vamps. it's too dangerous for the child." Tevonye looked around and then backed away at what the man had said. 

" Get rid of him, or I will." Xavier said, his voice demanding and harsh. The kid looked up at the man he was hiding behind and Luke saw the fear. 

" No, we aren't doing that. He has no where to go and besides, it's my place." Luke put the same tone to his voice as Xavier did. The other turned around as he looked at the kid, then back to Luke. 

" Like I said, get rid of him or I'll do it myself and it wont be in a painless way." The kid gripped onto Luke's shirt and looked around the room. He had saw one of Luke's friends wave their hand to them. He would move but it was to far without cover. Luke and Xavier talked to eachother and it seemed to be a perfect distraction. 

Tevonye moved away from Luke and as soon as he did, Luke made an attempt to grab him. But Xavier was faster. Tevonye yelled from the sudden contact and he kicked and screamed to be let go. 

" You don't need a child on your hands. Since you won't get rid of him, I guess I'll do it." The kid struggled more and his head was turned, exposing his neck. Before anything could happen, Xavier was stopped. 

" You can't do that. He isn't your child. his parents are out there somewhere. How do you think they would feel if they found their son dead." Mini jumped in to save the boy. Xavier rolled his eyes and let go of the kid. He fell on his knees and quickly got up, running over to the nice looking one, Mini. 

" Fine, but when he runs away and tells everyone about you, then don't come to me when you have hunters on your asses." Xavier said as he walked towards the kitchen, but also walking past the child.

Once Xavier was out of the room, the boy looked at Mini and quietly said thanks. Mini smiled as he placed Tevonye on the chair next to him. Tevonye looked at the others and he tried to see who could be a vampire, remembering what the guy had said before he was attacked. 

" I assume your wondering who is a vampire, aren't you?" Mini had noticed how Tevonye was looking around. He got a nod in response and Mini showed a worried smile. 

" okay, if I tell you, you have to promise to not freak out and all that stupid stuff, ok?" Tevonye looked at Mini and saw that the smile from before was gone and replaced by a nice smile. 

The kid nodded his head and Mini looked towards his friends. 

" Uh it's easier this way, school style. If your a vampire raise your hand." Mini announced, everyone but Marcel and Jon raised their hands. Tevonye was shocked to see so many vampires. He looked at Mini in disbelief. The person who helped him, who had saved him from another vampire. Was one himself.
