Luke charged at the man who was about to bite Tevonye. The man was pushed away and Luke pinned the guy down. He got up and grabbed Tevonye, they ran out of the room and down the hall. The man followed them as he watched them try to escape.

They turned a corner and they saw a dead end. The hallway had a window at the end, so Luke ran to it and opened it. He grabbed Tevonye and jumped, they landed on the ground and Luke saw the other humans with their kids.

Luke let Tevonye go and everyone else looked at them, Luke made an attempt to get up but pain spread through his back and leg. When Luke jumped he irritated his back and landed wrong.

" Luke come on!" Tevonye yelled. There was a loud growl and the man jumped out of the window, he landed behind Luke and sent an evil smirk to the humans. The man pressed down on luke, making him scream in pain.

"Ah! Tevonye run!" The scared human looked at the adults and back to Luke.

"No! I'm not leaving you!" " Run away god damn it! I'll find you!" One of the parents grabbed Tevonye and ran away with the others. Luke yelled in pain as he was lifted off the ground.

" Such a weak vampire. I've met newborns who are stronger then you." Luke growled and his eyes slightly turned red from the pain.

" Look at you, you already need blood to deal with your wounds, but you let the humans go." The guy dragged Luke back to the building. He screamed as his leg pulsed with pain, he was dragged into the ball room and was thrown on the floor. Luke groaned in pain and made an attempt to get up. Once he did he was pushed back down onto the tile floor.

" Get off me!" Luke yelled, the pure blood chuckled.

" you know, I can easily find your little human friend." Luke growled at the words. He tried lifting off the ground but he was pushed back down.

" I wonder how loud he will scream?" " Shut up!" Luke yelled, the guy smirked for clearly winning the little fight.

" How about we go find them." The man looked around and Luke did the same, he just now noticed the other vampires that were hiding. There were cheers and chuckles at the failed attempts Luke put off.

" Well then lets go!" The others left the room and Luke was still pinned down. The man chuckled and pressed on Luke's back to stun him with pain. It worked and Luke couldn't move an inch with out hurting. The man left with the others and Luke was left to his pain.

Thinking he was alone, he pushed himself to get up. The pain intensified and he huffed, trying his best to ignore it. He got up but he landed on his back, he hissed in pain and his arms gave up. There was the sound of shoes hitting the floor. the sound got closer and louder.

Luke looked around, trying his best not to move to much. His eyes caught a glimpse of a woman standing in the shadows. She walked closer, her dress was a dark purple and she held her hands behind her back.

She walked closer and was soon looking down at the injured vampire. She smiled once she knew she had his full undivided attention.

" You're stronger then you look, it's impressive that your able to move at all." The lady's eyes scanned over Luke's body as she looked at the broken leg. Not seeming to be bothered by it.

" It's always nice to see a strong soul, you seem to really care for this human." The lady got down to Luke's level.

" Why is that?" Luke stayed quiet, not sure if he should answer any of his questions. She smiled and pulled out two blood bags from a hidden view. Luke's eyes looked towards them but they didn't turn.

" Answer my question and you can have one, answer another and you can have both." Luke nodded.

" Why do you care for humans?" Luke didn't have to think about it, it was simply because he was once a human and that he had friends who are human.

" Because some are actually nice people and some are my friends." The lady raised her brow. She placed the bag to the side and held the other one.

" Who is your mate?" The question it self held danger for both him and Marcel. Most vampires aren't ok with the fact that vampires and humans can become mates. Hints one of the main reasons why Sven had hated Marcel so much.

She waited for the answer. Luke sighed, knowing he need the blood and that he would do anything to protect Marcel.

" A human named Marcel." The lady hummed and placed the next bag down. She got closer to Luke and placed her hands on his back.

" I'm going to help you, I have made sure not to touch any broken bones." Luke was confused on how she could tell where it was hurting the most and where it was safe to touch. She helped him sit up and she handed him the blood bags.

Luke took no time in just biting into the bags and sucking up the blood. It rolled down his throat but it wasn't the same as Marcel's. Once the bags where empty, he placed them to the side and the feeling of bones snapping back into place was felt. Luke gritted his teeth and handled the pain well. usually many vampires cant stand the feeling of their bones snapping back into place.

Once the pain was gone, Luke relaxed and the lady was sitting on the ground.

" You ready to go get your little human friend back?" She asked, he nodded and they were off to save Tevonye.

The small group of humans ran through the trees and hid in hidden areas to avoid the vampires. Tevonye was with the group and struggling to keep up, everyone was holding their kids and running, they ran faster then Tevonye.

The sound of others laughing was heard and Tevonye decided to hide in some bushes. A few moments pasted and a few vampires ran past him.

He decided to go another way and hopefully find a house with someone who can help him. He ran and the sound of other following him was gone. he was completely alone and wandering through the forest. He found a tree that was climb able and decided that he was going to sleep there.

He went to the top and made sure that no one could see him or hear him. The night sky was noticeable from the leaves, the stars twinkled and calmly soothed tevonye to sleep.

Tevonye woke up to the feeling of something wet on his face. He slowly opened his eyes and saw the cloudy skies. He groaned as he sat up from the uncomfortable position, looking around he noticed that there was a knife. The sound of the leaves moving was heard above him, he quickly moved and grabbed the knife.

He looked around and his eyes stared at the blue eyes from a short guy, he had a purple shirt on and black pants. His hair was blond and his smile was warm. He moved towards the scared boy and moved onto the branch that had more of a stable structure.

" Hello, what's your name?" The male asked the boy, Tevonye stayed still and made sure to keep the other away from him.

" How about you back away a bit, your scaring him." another's voice echoed, the male looked up and smiled, Tevonye followed his gaze and saw another man above him. He jumped down and landed behind the male in front of Tevonye.

The man was taller then the other and had a bandanna over his eyes. His grey hoodie covered his eyes and his black pants covered his legs. They both smiled at the boy, making him back away.

" Sorry for scaring you, I was worried. A young boy shouldn't be in the rain alone." The smaller male said.

" You care for other to much." The other said to the smaller one, Tevonye held on tightly to the blade. He looked around and didn't see any fast way away from the two. Obviously the two where vampires, judging by the way they held themselves on the slippery and thin branch.

They both stopped talking and looked at the young human, the tall one walked closer to the human, he got his attention. The man got down to the humans level.

" What's your name?" Tevonye looked at a thin bracelet that was on the others wrist. It was a bracelet with purple string. He moved his gaze back to the eldest and stayed quiet. The other looked at his wrist and showed it to the kid.

" You see this, this is a bracelet, the purple means we aren't going to hurt you" Tevonye relaxed a bit and shifted his view between the two. He shifted his gaze to the vampire behind the taller one, he pointed to his shirt and smiled.

" My name is Tevonye." the two smiled, finally getting an answer from the kid.

" Hi, my name is Ohm and he is Bryce. Where are your parents?" Tevonye looked at his hands and the two got to meaning, they left it at that.

" Who is taking care of you?" Tevonye pushed the faint tears to the side and answered with a slightly wavering voice.

" Luke and the others where taking care of me." The two froze, the eldest was moved back and the other asked the next question.

" Luke, does he have friends named Marcel, Tyler, Mini, Evan and Del?" Tevonye looked up with hope in his eyes. He nodded his head and the two smiled a bit.

" Well at least your not alone." The one with the mask said. The other nodded and walked closer to the kid.

" Hey we are going to take you with us, ok?" Bryce's voice was calm and caring, the kid got up and he was suddenly swept off his feet, he freaked out a bit and wrapped his arms around the others neck. They jumped down from the tree and they looked at each other. There was the sound of something flying through the air at a rapid speed.

Before any of them could move, the sound stopped and something hit the tree next to Ohm's head. They looked towards the object and saw an arrow with a red ribbon on it. The sound of someone running towards them made the two run in the opposite direction. The human child had no idea what was happening, the two ran and made it to a small cliff. They ran faster and the grip on Tevonye was a bit stronger.

They got to the cliff and jumped. They made it half way before a net went around the two and pulled them back. They hit the rocks and where pulled to the top. Ohm turned and saw the two in the nets. Before he could run to get a boost, he saw Tevonye get taken, he screamed for help. Bryce got up and ran after the kid. Ohm landed on the other side and started to follow Bryce.

Bryce ran as fast as he could to get Tevonye back, Bryce ran faster just to keep up. He wasn't a pureblood so catching up was difficult. One of the men looked back and smirked at the vampire that struggled to catch up.

He turned and knocked against Bryce, making him fall on the ground. The others left, the man picked up Bryce and jumped into the tree above them. Bryce fought back and punched the by in the face. The guy sent Bryce a glare and slammed him against the trunk of the tree.

The next hit was Bryce's head being slammed on the wood once again, he groaned and his head swayed side to side. Bryce heard the chuckling and force turned his head, Bryce kicked at the guy and pushed him away.

" Get away from me!" The feeling of fangs grazed his neck, he pushed the guy again and screamed out for Ohm to help him. The guy smirked, he pushed one of Bryce's arms back and his fangs dug into the other skin.

Bryce screamed from the pain, he made an attempt to push the guy away and got a hum in return. He screamed again once the feeling of something hot flowed through his body. There was a loud growl and the man pulled away. He held Bryce up with one arm and turned to look at the other.

Red eyes gazed into a murderous deep red. The man smirked and dropped Bryce, he fell out of the tree and Ohm went down to catch him. Ohm caught Bryce and laid him on the ground. He looked up and didn't see the man, he mumbled to himself and put his attention on Bryce.

His eyes looked distant and his body felt hot. Bryce couldn't move and the feeling of everything slowly shutting down was made. Bryce's eye lids felt heavy so he closed his eyes. Ohm shook Bryce, to try and wake him up but it didn't work. he looked at Bryce's neck and saw the bite with red lines spreading across his neck.

" So tired..." The distant voice was from Bryce as Ohm held him. Ohm picked up Bryce and held him in his lap, he didn't know what to do. Ohm noticed that Bryce's breathing was slowing down and panic set in. His enhanced hearing could hear the faint struggle of Bryce's heart. The already set in panic ate away at Ohm as Bryce was noticeably turning a lighter color.

" Poor thing~" The voice made Ohm growl from anger.

" Too bad he had to go~" Ohm got up and looked at the man who did this, the evil smirk on the mans face made Ohm more angered.

" What did you do to him?" Ohm's voice was deep and pushed through gritted teeth. The man walked a bit closer.

" You'll see." Ohm was confused for a second until Bryce gasped out of pain and his body tensed. Ohm ran to him and held him. His body was on fire. The man chuckled and watched as Bryce nearly screamed in pain.

The feeling of fire rushing through him was intense, after the burning feeling had calmed down a bit, Ohm noticed that Bryce's heart rate was going a bit faster then normal.

" Now the only thing left to do, is get rid of you." Ohm didn't have time to move so he was pinned to the ground.

The man reached behind him and grabbed out a knife, he raised it and swung down towards Ohm's chest, right where his heart was. Ohm stopped the knife by hitting the guy and hitting his hand so the knife flew away from both of them.

The guy growled and Ohm flipped them, he lifted his hand to tear into the others chest and pull his heart out but before he could do anything, he was pushed away by an extreme force.

Ohm grunted as his body hit the hard wood from the tree. He looked ahead of him and saw a young man with his hand out towards Ohm. The guy smiled and walked over to the other.

" Dear boy. Can you do me a favor?" The man asked the younger one. He nodded his head and the elder smiled wickedly.

" I need to you deal with the low life." The man said as he pointed at Bryce. Ohm struggled against the force that had a continuous force on him.

" With pleasure." The force weakened and the younger one walked over to Bryce. The guy lifted his hand to Bryce and the sound of flesh being torn was heard.
