"Bela...did you pay those catering people?"my aunt asked when we were in kitchen.

"Yes chachi..I paid them,and they said they will be on time",I said and she nodded.

We ladies were in kitchen making some sweets and everyone are enjoying in our lobby.God they all are so loud,I can hear all their howlings till here.

"Bachhoo...why are you guys shouting so much?"my mom shouted from kitchen and I giggled.

We all came together after so long,this fun and naughtiness is expected.

They all were hooting and shouting.Are they playing any game?

"Mummy..I completed making these laddos..shall I help you in making anything else?"I asked.

"No Bela..you also go and enjoy with them,we will take care of this",my another chachi said.

"OK..",I said washing my hands.

And suddenly my cousin's kids came running to me,
"Bela maasi...come with us",they were pulling my dupatta.

"What happened kiddo's?You want any sweets?"I asked coming to their level.

"No maasi..you come with us",they said helding my each hand and started dragging me towards lobby.

What's wrong?

Everyone were around someone,did something happened to anyone?

And they all shouted suddenly,blasting my ears,
"Surpriseeeee".

Everyone moved aside and my eye's went wide.

Mahir...Mahir is here!

I was blinking looking at him,he was smiling gazing at me deeply and now everyone were looking at our staring game in silence.

I slowly walked forward,taking baby steps,
"Aww...Bela di will now hug him",
"Aja puttar..",
"Look at them..staring at each other",
"Bela..just jump on him",

Everyone were talking whatever they want,but my eye's were focused on Mahir,who was sitting in between my dad and bheeji.

I just want to squeeze him in my hugs and kisses...but no!

He said he cannot attend the wedding and made a wholesome drama,shouting and taking up a fight with me.And now he is here before three days?

Why did he put me in this stupid situation?Taking up a bloody fight with me and now he is here,wooing my family.

And they all are already falling in his trap!

"Aha...meri bachhi sharmarahi hai Mahir puttar..what did you do to her?"bheeji said.

What?Am I looking like I'm blushing?

"She always blushes when he is around",Vish said making everyone laugh and he is grinning.

"She missed you a lot jiju,that's why she is just standing like a statue,she can't hug you now because we are around",Suhani said and everyone hooted.

"Come on jiju,she is shy but you are not.Hug her",Bultu said making everyone laugh.

Tears brimmed in my eye's with anger..and the lonely feeling I'm carrying with me since three days.Everyone knows that I fought with him and came here.And now he showed up and they all are already on his side.

I walked back slowly and ran away from there.

"Aww..she is shy..",
"Offo..Bela di..",
"Arey..puttar..",
I heard everyone's voices,but I straightly ran back to my room,wiping my tears.

Mahir must have figured out my face showing hurt and anger.Because he can read my eye's very well!

I washed my face and sat on the bed,calming my heart beats.It's beating so fast since I saw him here.My cheeks started burning already.Winter in Punjab is like being in Antarctica,and I'm feeling warm now.

His mere stare warms my body up!

I heard a knock on the door,
"Bela...what happened?"I heard my mom's voice.

"Nothing..I'm coming wait",I said wiping my tears.

I opened the door and saw my mom and aunt standing,
"Bela..son-in-law just came and you ran away like that?You are so shy",my aunt said and I groaned internally.

"Bela..Mahir is talking to everyone down there.He must be tired,tell him to get freshed",my mom said and I nodded.

I walked to the lobby slowly with them,and I can still hear their laughs and all.

"Jiju..how are your gold fishes?"Pooja asked making everyone laugh.

I gave a tight lip,trying to control my laughter.

"Um..they are good,I gave them to my neighbors to take care",Mahir said looking in my direction.

"Oh..finally daddy left them in a day care as I said",Vikrant said and everyone were laughing out their hearts out.

Mahir was looking shy!

"Biwi ke liye itna bahane banayi putter ne",bheeji said laughing along with others.

I walked towards him and now everyone became silent,waiting for my next actions,
"Mahir..you must be tired.Get freshed",I said and he smiled nodding.

He stood up and everyone were looking at us with happy faces,
"Come with me",I said and started walking back to our room.

He was following me and everyone got busy in their own gossips,
"Bela..Mahir jiju",Suhani came when I was going to enter my room.

"Hey...",Mahir said taking her in a side hug.

"Jiju..I've shifted my things to other room,you can stay here with your wife",Suhani said and I was shocked.

I stepped inside the room and looked around.Suhani's stuff was missing.

"Thank you Suhani",Mahir said and they both came in.

"Suhani..what is this?"I asked sternly.

I was sharing a room with Suhani,and now she gave it to me and Mahir.

"Come on Bela..you are not single anymore.Your husband will stay where you stay..so he will stay with you here only",Suhani winked and walked out leaving me and Mahir alone.

"Bela..I...",
"Get freshed and come..I will unpack your bag",I said taking his bag.

He sighed and went to take a shower.I unpacked his bag and kept some clothes in the closet.I removed a pair of clothes and placed them on the bed.

He came back after few minutes,looking all fresh wrapped in a towel,sexy as ever.

He was shivering rubbing his arms,I sighed and closed the window's.I was standing near the window's and he was dressing up.

"Bela..once listen...",
"You must be hungry,come down and eat something",I said and walked out of the room.

I went to kitchen and placed some sweets and snacks in a plate for him,
"Where is son-in-law Bela?"one of my aunt asked.

"He is coming chachi",I said making a coffee for him.

"Bela..your Mahir came for you",Vish whispered in my ear excitedly.

"So what?First he fights with me and now he shows up before three days of the wedding?"I asked and she was giggling.

"Why are you giggling like this?"I asked and she looked around.

"Come with me",she said taking me to a side.

Suhani also came and stood beside Vish,
"What's wrong guys.Did you know that he was coming?"I asked suspiciously and they were looking at each other and giggling.

"So you both know",I said and they laughed out.

"Bela..trust me,even we were angry on him.But he was literally begging me",Vish said and I rolled my eye's.

"Yea Bela..jiju has been calling me daily and asking me about you.He never stopped caring for you",Suhani said and I looked at her.

"Yes Bela..you were ignoring his calls and messages.So he used to call me daily four to five times,asking about you",Suhani said.

"He couldn't stay without you..so..he worked a whole day to clear his busy schedule and finally made it here.Only I and Suhani helped him in this matter",Vish said and my face fell.

When you care this much for me...why would you hurt me Mahir?

"Bela..coffee is ready,give it to son-in-law,he must be hungry",my aunt said and I nodded.

I dint say a word after Vish and Suhani's ranting and walked back,
"Bela..listen na..",
"Bela..come on yaar",

They both were calling me but I went back.I placed the coffee mug and snacks plate in a tray and walked to lobby.

Mahir was talking with everyone,laughing..he was enjoying everyone's company.They all looked at me when I placed the tray on the table.

I gave the coffee mug to him and he deliberately brushed his fingers to mine.I looked at him and he winked.

"Bela..can we also get some coffee?"my jiju asked.

"Sure jiju",I said and turned back to walk.

But as I turned,my jiju pulled my hand and I straightly landed on Mahir's lap,making everyone giggle.

"Hayee..now look at them",my cousin said dreamily.

Mahir tightened his hold on my waist and I was trying to get out of his hold.Everyone are watching us and I'm so shy now.

I'm feeling his touch after three days..and his muscular arms were wrapped around my waist,making me all dizzy.

"Leave me",I slowly whispered and everyone laughed.

He loosened his grip and I stood up,running back to kitchen immediately,listening to their faint sounds of laughter.

MAHIR

My heart just dropped in my stomach when I saw her.But she is still angry with me.

I very well know how to make her normal!

"Aww..jiju..Bela di is so shy",one of her cousin said I smiled.

I looked at Vish and Suhani,they assured that she will be fine.

I haven't seen Bela again,I was talking to bheeji and others.In fact I was narrating our little banter,and how Vish and Suhani helped me to come here.

"But jiju,what would have happened if Suhani and Vish di wouldn't help you?"Bultu asked.

"No..no..Suhani is very clever.I said I couldn't attend her marriage,so she made me also pay for what I did",I said and they laughed.

"Of course,you have to make it up to me.How can you miss my marriage?"Suhani said.

"Yeah I know,so I'm here.But this girl Suhani..she made me pay very badly.First I apologized to her,and the toughest part was Vish",I said and Vish smirked.

"She made me compensate even for Vish,so these both already took their revenge",I said.

"Yeah..you better Mr.Husband.And you dared to call me a witch.So you had to pay",Vish smirked and I rolled my eye's.

"And tell us Mahir,how did you spend these three days without your baby",Vikrant asked and everyone started hooting.

"Guys..don't remind me of that..I don't want to experience it again",I said laughing and they too laughed.

"Jiju..you both are such a love.Never thought our Bela di would be so madly in love",one of her cousin said.

"Jiju..you have to see this now",Suhani said sitting beside me.

"And what is this?"I asked when she was finding a video in her phone.

She opened a video and I blushed looking at it.Bela was telling in front of everyone that...she can't live without me.

"We dint want you to miss this jiju..we recorded everything"Suhani said and I blushed.

She cannot live without me and neither me also.I just saw a living hell for all these three days without her.How did she feel without me?

She kept ignoring my calls and messages,but called my mom for me.She is trying to be angry on me..but I know.She can't!

I know how to tame you baby!

"And Suhani..my dear saali..where is Pratham?"I asked and now she blushed.

"He..he will be here with his family..tomorrow..for rest of the functions",she said blushing.

"I see..poor Pratham..he has to bear you for all your life",I said and everyone laughed.

"Jiju..please..",Suhani blushed.

"Keep this blushing face on Suhani,this will stirr up Pratham more",I winked and she ran away blushing.

"Just his name and she is all blushing",Vish said.

I'm just remembering my wedding days,my family and her family were so happy,teasing the hell out of us!

"Bachho..dinner is ready,you guys will be sitting and talking all day or what?Come for dinner",Suhani's mom said.

"Mahir..come let's have dinner,Bela had made few sweets and some dishes too",Bela's jiju said and I smiled getting up.

We all sat to have dinner and Bela along with Suhani and her mother were serving,
"You also come and eat",I said when she was serving me curry.

"I have some work to do..I will eat later",she said moving away but I held her hand.

"Mahir..leave my hand",she said looking around.

"Come and sit beside me...and eat",I said.

"No..I said I have some work,you eat..I will eat later",she said.

"Bela..please..come and sit",I said.

"Bela beta..you also sit beside Mahir,I will serve",Bela's mother said and I begged her with my eye's.

She sighed and sat beside me.I would have make her eat on my own if others were not here.I'm not shy to feed her in front of everyone,but she is.

I don't want to make her more angry!

We all had our dinner and were discussing about the wedding preparations.

"More just two days..and everyone will go back.This house will become silent again",bheeji said sadly.

"Bheeji..don't worry.We will come here every year,even if other's allow us or not",Bela said eyeing me and I smiled.

This girl!!

How Bela..how can you be so cute and sexy at the same time?

She was wearing a Punjabi suit,looking all ethereal,taking my breath away.

I'm dying to be in her arms,touch her,kiss her and worship her.

"OK..OK..we need to get up early tomorrow,take rest everyone",bheeji said.

"Oh..tomorrow we have to go to farms,that to early in the morning..in this cold winter",Suhani said.

"Why bheeji..is anything happening over there?"I asked.

"Haa puttar,now another girl from our family is getting married.So all the daughters of this house along with their husbands should perform a small pooja in our farms.It's a ritual of our family which has been done since so many years",bheeji said and I looked at Bela.

And that's why Bela said she needed me here!

"Yeah..they all did it even during Bela's marriage here.But your marriage was in summer and my marriage is in this cold December..I can't wake up so early in this cold weather",Suhani whined.

"Arey oo..ladki..shaadi karni haina..tho sab kuch sehna padega",bheeji said smacking her head and everyone laughed.

"OK..OK..now everyone go to bed,we have to wake up early tomorrow",Bela's dad said and everyone parted towards their rooms.

This house is very big,so big!

I came back to my room and was waiting for Bela to come.It's really so cool over here.

Bela came inside and locked the door,I was sitting on a chair and kept looking at all her actions.She sat in front of the mirror and removed her ear rings,bangles and some chains.

She took her night wear and went to change.Why am I feeling like it's the first time we are sharing a room?

She came back and started applying moisturizer to her arms,
"Bela...stop ignoring me like this",I said hugging her from behind.

She removed my hands and gave me an angry look.I sighed and walked behind her to the cupboards.She was removing her clothes for tomorrow.

"Bela..I'm..I'm sorry baby..I'm really sorry",I said hugging her from behind and nuzzling her neck.

"Leave me Mahir..why did you come here?You said you are busy..so why did you come?"she asked folding her hands.

"Bela..I..cleared my schedule soon..I..I..couldn't stay without you..I can't live without you",I said helding her hands in mine.

"You can't stay without me?As far as I know..you can stay without me for all your life.Then how can you not stay without me for three days",she said and I blushed.

She is a tit for tat to me!

If I'm stubborn,she is more than me!

"Bela..that's all out of my anger..I'm sorry baby",I said hugging her to my chest.

And this time she dint protest,but dint hug me back either!

"I was asking you politely since a week for this,you kept saying 'no' and fought with me in this matter.And now you show up here?"she asked.

"We wouldn't fight on this if you have agreed that time,and you have hurt me with your words",she shouted.

"What did you say?Get lost?"she asked.

"Bela..please forget all that..I'm sorry baby",I said cupping her face.

"No Mahir..I said I will not come back,and I will be on my word.I will not come back.I'm not you to say something and do something else.I will always be on my word",she said and I sighed.

"Bela..please...let's finish all this..I'm really sorry baby..please and I mean it.I should have not controlled you like that..and I'm so sorry for it",I said and she looked a bit calm.

"I'm so sorry Bela..I..I can't stay without you.Our home was looking like a dead place without you baby,please don't say like that...I love you",I said joining our foreheads.

"And you thought it was easy for me Mahir?You shouted on me in front of Vish and Vikrant that day.And made me a stubborn bitch",she said putting her hands on my chest,pushing me back.

"Baby...don't talk like that..I'm so sorry",I said cupping her face.

She went to the table and got her phone.She opened a WhatsApp message of her's and Yuvi's.

I closed my eye's in defeat..that son of my mother!

"What's this Mahir?Are you serious?"she asked.

"Bela..I was just..I was..",I dint know what to say.

Yuvi..I'm going to chop your balls off when I return back!

"And now I think those cigarettes are more important to you than me",she said in a hurtful tone.

"Bela..no..it's nothing like that,nothing is more important to me other than you.I told you..I'm trying to put them in control..and I'm trying real hard.I'm so sorry baby,I will stop smoking..just give me some time",I said and she looked a bit convinced.

"I'm not asking you to quit smoking Mahir,because I know.You have this habit since so long and you can't quit just like that.I'm just asking you to put it in control",she said and I nodded.

"But..I'm still angry on you..you..just shout on my face to get lost and you show up here,wooing my family?Do you know how I was staying here without you..or without talking to you.And how much did I missed you..you fucking don't know",she shouted and I gave a sly smile.

"What?You are smiling when I'm shouting here?"she asked.

"No..that..you look sexy when you swear",I said and she rolled her eye's.

"I'm ranting here and you say this?You know what?Good night",she said walking towards the bed.

I smiled and followed her.I got under the covers with her and she was doing something unexpected.

"Bela..are you serious?What is this?"I asked when she was building a wall of pillows in between us.

"What?Don't try to cross this border and put your hands to your self",she said and I groaned.

"Bela..it's not the time for fun.It's been three days sleeping without you in my arms,I've been dying to held you",I said removing those pillows.

"What?No...",she said placing them back again and I huffed looking at her.

"You can stay without me for all your life,so you can sleep without me also.Now sleep and don't try to cross these pillows,or else I will never allow you to touch me",she said and I blushed.

"How will our daughter and son pop out if I won't touch you?"I asked and her cheeks tinged a pink blush.

"What?Mahir...what the...",she was all red.

"Say..how will our daughter and son show up if I won't touch you",I asked huskily,slowly removing the pillows again and now she was taking her time to blush.

I slowly moved towards her and caressed her cheek,her cheeks were warm!

"Tell me baby..what about our kids?They will feel bad if we won't bring them to this world",I whispered kissing her ear lobe and she closed her eye's.

She opened her eye's and pushed me back a little,
"Mahir...you..just stay away from me,this is your punishment",she whined like a kid and I laughed.

"You jerk..this is the last time I'm making this pillow wall.If you remove it again..I will go and sleep another room",she said and I laughed.

"OK..OK..I won't cross this.Promise",I said muffling my laughter.

"Now sleep..you have to wake up early tomorrow.Good night",she said sternly and I laughed.

"OK..you look like a fiercey lioness..you look so sexy when you are angry Bela",I said leaning on her.

"Mahir..I'm serious..I will go and sleep in another room now",she said trying to get up.

"OK..OK..sorry..I will behave..don't go",I said pulling her back.

"Now move that side",she said and I moved a little.

"More..",she said and I smiled moving away from her.

"Now..good night",she said and lied down,turning the other side.

I laughed looking at my wife who is behaving like a kid.My daughter will be like Bela for sure,she will get all her mother's tantrums.

"Good night baby,I love you",I said and closed my eye's.

I know she will be angry on me for what I did.That was expected.But a pillow wall?

Seriously?

A fucking cotton stuffed pillows are a barrier between me and my wife?

And this showed me how much did I fucked it up.Well..pretty bad!

I will tame you Bela.I know,even you cannot stay without me for this long.Suhani spoke with me daily,she said that Bela was worried about me all the time,but she never voiced out her feelings.

She is always like this.She never voices out her feelings,except to me.She stopped expressing herself even in front of her parents.I became her whole world now,she shows all her emotions only to me.

This fighting game won't last longer baby!!

"Ughm..I feel so warm",I said snuggling into him.

Wait....what?

I opened my eye's and met with a heaving chest.My head was resting on his chest,while his hands were around me and I was snuggling into him,throwing my arms and legs on him.

I woke up immediately and came out of his arms,
"Baby..don't move",he groaned in his sleep and I came out of his hold.

Thank God he is sleeping tight.I'm the one who told him to not touch me and now I was snuggling into him?

"God..damn..Bela",I cursed myself and was searching for the pillows I kept in between us last night.

Those poor pillows were on the floor!

I stepped down from the bed and placed those pillows again in between us.Thank God Mahir dint wake up,or else he would make fun of me.

When did I throw those pillows and snuggled into his arms?

"You are a nut job Bela",I hissed and looked at sleeping Mahir.

I smiled to myself and ruffled his hairs.How much I missed this face of him.

It was three in the morning and I heard a knock on my door,
"Bela..Bela?"I heard my mother's voice.

"Yes mummy..I woke up",I said rubbing my eye's.

"You woke up?That's good.Did Mahir wake up?We need to go to our farms",mummy asked.

"Yeah..I will wake him up.We will get ready and be down in thirty minutes",I said yawning and she nodded.

God..it's so cool here!

I looked at Mahir who was sleeping hugging those pillows.Let him sleep for sometime,he must be tired.

I slowly tip toed towards him and caressed his stubbled jaw.He hasn't shaved since all these days I guess.His beard has grown.I smiled and placed a small kiss on his forehead.

I went and took shower and came out dressed in a suit again.I was shivering since my back was exposed.

Why all these rituals?

"Mahir..Mahir get up",I said waking him up while drying my hair.

"Mahir..we need to go to our farms..get up",I said tapping on his shoulders and he groaned.

"Baby please..I'm..sleepy",he said.

"Mahir..you can come and sleep again..now get up na,everyone must be waiting for us",I said now shaking him.

"Hmm..OK",he said and sat straight.

He gave me one look and smirked,he took his towel and went to took a shower.I removed his clothes for today and placed on the bed.I was getting ready and Mahir came out shivering.

"Bela..it's so cool here..and early in the morning..it's so chilly",he said wearing his vest.

"Yeah..winters in Punjab are very bad",I said putting on my wedding chain.

"Are you ready?Let's go?"I asked putting on my earrings.

"Yeah..just a second",he said wearing his pullover.

We both went downstairs and everyone were ready,yawning and shivering in this cold weather.

"Tum sab log kyun uthe ho..ladkiyan aur damaad ji kaafi hai",bheeji said.

"It's OK bheeji,even we want to see those rituals",my unmarried cousins said.

We all walked to our farms and I was shivering as cool breeze was hitting my back.Mahir covered me with my dupatta at the back when we were performing the pooja.

"Thank you",I said and he winked.

Me and Mahir,my other married sisters along with their husbands performed this pooja and blessed Suhani.

She was all in tears when we were performing this ritual.This ritual was done even for my wedding,but we were not here.

"OK..now we can go back,today's ritual is done.If you want you can take some rest now",bheeji said and we all walked back to our home.

"God..it's so cool here,I never felt this cold even in US",Vish said rubbing her arms.

I saw Mahir yawning and rubbing his eye's,he is still sleepy.

"Mahir beta..you can go and rest for sometime",my mom said.

"It's OK aunty..I'm fine",he said yawning.

"Ja puttar,thodi der aur araam karlo",bheeji said and he looked at me,I nodded and he walked back to our room.

He went to rest and we all started preparing breakfast for everyone.Pratham's parents came and all the elders were having a chat with them.

I went and served them some tea and coffee.It was eight in the morning now,everyone were having breakfast.

"Bela..wake up son-in-law and call him for breakfast beta",my uncle said and I nodded.

I went to my room and saw Mahir sleeping peacefully,
"Mahir..Mahir wake up",I said sitting beside him.

"Ba...Mahir..wake up,are you not hungry?"I asked and he opened his eye's.

"Everyone are having breakfast,you also come",I said and he sat up straight.

He nodded and went to washroom to fresh up.Sunrays were peeking through our window and I stood near window,taking a sunbath,waiting for Mahir to come.

I felt his hands sneaking around my waist and I sighed.How much I missed this!!

"You look so beautiful in this baby",Mahir said slowly moving his fingers on my back and I shivered.

He kept my hair to one said and started peppering feather lite kisses on my shoulder..and the hair on my neck stood still,errupting goosebumps all over my body.

"How do you try to take my breath away always baby",Mahir said now giving wet kisses on my shoulder,slowly pulling out my back strings.

I placed my hands over his hands and leaned back on him,his cologne making me crazy,
"I missed this so much..I missed you Bela",he said moving his hands on my back.

"I love your fucking scent",he groaned kissing my neck now,nuzzling and doing all his ways on my neck.

"Shh..ahh",I moaned when he bit my skin and nibbled it.

"Baby..I can't stay away from you..you have no idea how I lived for those three days..I love you",he said nibbling my freshly placed love bite.

"Bela beta..are you both....oh..I'm sorry..I'm sorry beta",I heard my aunt's voice and we both moved apart.

"I'm..I'm..sorry Mahir beta..I..should have knocked.I'm sorry.Please come for breakfast both of you",she said and walked away immediately.

I looked at Mahir angrily and he was rubbing his nape,
"What?How would I know that someone would walk in",he said and I narrowed my eye's on him.

"Sorry",he said showing his tongue.

I pushed my hair to one side and looked at my back.All my back strings are opened,
"Tie them up",I said looking at him.

He smirked and came close,tying them back again.He kept peppering kisses on my back,making me giggle.

Even he was giggling with me,rubbing his stubbled on my back.

"Not like that Mahir..just bite her",we heard another voice and jerked apart.

All my stupid cousins,Vish,Vikrant and bheeji were peeking inside our room,giggling at us.

"You should bite her Mahir jiju,then only she will understand your pain",Suhani said.

I and Mahir were standing there all embarrassed,looking the other way.

"Mah..Mahir..come for breakfast..move aside everyone",I walked past them and heard them all laughing.

Why are they all so sneaky when it comes to me and Mahir?

Thank God,my parents,uncles and aunt's were not here.My chachi also saw us just now.

Mahir...how should I show my face to them now?

He never leaves a chance to make me blush!!
