Time skip 4 months later

I have finally finished my packing for the house. We leave tomorrow. It is now the beginning of October. Two months till my b-day. I carry my stuff to the front room and set it down in my pile. My mom comes rushing into the living room.

"Oh sweetie, we are leaving early. So they said for us to leave today so we arrive at the house by tomorrow night. So hurry and put your things into the u haul for your stuff." I gasp seriously. I thought I would have another day to say goodbye to this house. I guess not. I slowly take loads to the u haul with my name on it. I head to my room to grab the little bit left. I also grab my stash of money that I had saved up for higher education. I guess it can go to my house with my mate. I put the money in a secret compartment in the bag I am bringing into the van for the trip. It has my iPod, sketching bag, sketch book, music book, and a set of color pencils.

I head into the car and take the seat in the back where my sisters are sitting. My brothers come in after me. Oh how I am going to miss them.

My mom hops in and we leave the house. My mom starts to take in all of my siblings' faces and slowly she begins to cry.

"I am going to miss my babies. When we get out I want all of you to give me a big hug and then do as you're told. Ok?"

An "Ok" can be heard throughout the car. I then plug in my headphones and listen to my music and then start to draw. I start to nod off a little so I plug in my iPod to the charger and drift off to sleep listening to Young Blood by 5 seconds of summer.

When I wake up it is to Linlee tapping my shoulder for breakfast. She hands me a bag of food and sits back down. I open the bag.

It is full of breakfast items. There is orange juice, pancakes, sausage links, bacon, and syrup. A breakfast that has a ton more food than I get in a day living in my life. I grab the pancakes and I grab a plate Daniel is handing me. I put the pancakes on it and add some syrup. I dip one of the sausage links in the syrup and take a bite. I chew and taste how good everything is. I take a bite of the pancakes savoring them. I take a sip of the orange juice. For my first time trying orange juice, it isn't half bad.

I finish the rest and go back to listening to music. I hum some of the lyrics I wrote a couple of weeks ago. I turn off the music so I can write more to it. (I would have the character go into detail with the song I wrote, but I don't want anyone stealing my song. Sorry.)

We arrive at the house around 8ish. We ate lunch and dinner in the car. My family and I walk out into the grass. All of my siblings hug my mom. Then they go and line up how they were told to. Erick is the closest to me. Then it's Daniel, then Lacy, and then Linlee. I look towards my mom and see the fear in her eyes. I walk over to her and wait with her. I hear a scream behind me. I try to turn around but my mom is holding me so I don't see my own fate. The screaming fades away and I turn around. Daniel and Linlee are missing. What?? I heard one scream.

Erick and Lacy come over and hug me. Because they both know I have to watch everyone go before I can leave. I have to watch what is going to happen to me four times. We all go into the house I head to the room assigned to me. I break down onto my pillow. I fall asleep to someone rubbing my back in a soothing way.

Unknown pov.

I was running through the forest and I caught a magnificent scent drifting through the wind. I knew it was my mate. I am so glad. I have been alone for hundreds of years. I follow the scent to a chosen house in section 8. I see a family of four walking into the house.

I follow in the shadows. I found my mate. It is the blonde one. I follow her until I see her go down the stairs to where the little girls and boys are kept. I follow her hoping she isn't sleeping down here. She walks into a room full of boxes. She lays on the bed and starts to cry. She is too young. Noooooo. I still walk over to her and rub her back gently until she's asleep.

Clara's POV

I wake up to this strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. I think I'm just hungry. I head up to the dining room upstairs. I sit in my seat and only one of my siblings show up. Lacy came trudging into the room but right as she goes to sit there is a flash and she disappears. I scream. My mother comes in to see what the matter is. And I point to Lacy's chair. My mom immediately comes to hug me and calm me down. I am alone. It is November 8th, and all off my siblings have left me to be with their soulmates.

A flash and a wolf come flying into the room. The wolf changes to human form. It's just Erick and Daniel. Daniel comes to hug me but then smells something in the air.

"Vampire." He goes running over to me and starts growling into the shadows outside. A man starts walking then stops to drop off a package. Then he's gone. Daniel grabs the package and comes back. He sniffs again.

"His scent is all over you, what?" He looks in the basket. "There is a note and some rope in here." I grab the note and read it aloud.

"My dearest young chosen girl,

I am writing to you to send my love. And to tell the rest of the ones who trap you and make you cry, that I have taken your sisters during their transformation stage and someone your brothers know but kept secret from you. I am telling you all that if I don't get the girl in twelve hours I will kill all of them. And I know how selfless the girl is, she would do anything to save her family. So I'm glad you let her read the note I left instead of you.

I know I have to save them but what does this man want with me. I am just a lamb sent out for slaughter. I will save my sisters and that man I don't know, and my brothers will help me or they won't.
