SURPRISE! ANOTHER CHAPTER

HERE WE GOOOOOO

Evelyn, Atlas, Harley, Jax, Lily, Lucian, Ember, and Keyren are all online

Harley and Keyren sat up, and both had bloody noses. Both of them touched their nose, and blood was on their fingers.

Ember: WHAT THE BELL JUST HAPPENED??

Harley: Keyren was having a vision, and I thought I could bring him out of it, but turns out I actually saw the vision..

Lily: and??? Don't keep us in suspense....

Keyren: I think we had parents here.... I think we were born here..

Lucian; WHAT??

Harley: it's true, Lucian you had a father and a mother. Your father called you his "little dragon".

Atlas; Okay, did they mention any names?

Evelyn: actually, you might as well start from the beginning.

And so Harley Keyren described the whole vision, causing the whole group to stare in shock.

Jax: well that is certainly something. So we have parents with magical powers, but an old man came in to save the day taking all of us away-

Ember: before the crazy witch could steal our powers.

Evelyn; it makes sense actually. The fact that our "parents" tried to get us together at a young age, or the fact that we all live in the same town and go to the same school. We are all so-

Jax: intertwined.

Harley: We have got to get to the bottom of this.

Keyren; TO THE LIBRARY

Atlas: What are you, Hermione Granger?

Lily: We Stan Hermione Granger

Harley: I think we're forgetting something, we have history class tomorrow, we should be able to find something then.

Ember: we have one thing we do have to talk about. Celeste. Do we keep her or do we not keep her? I don't necessarily trust her, or her sister.

Evelyn: I trust Celeste more than Cia. From what Celeste has said, her sister isn't very nice.

Jax: We keep her in the dark. I just don't want something where Amara has found out where we are.

Harley: if she were to find us, it could put the whole kingdom at stake, and possibly our hometown if Amara finds out what we are, we would be dead before we could help anyone.

Atlas: *scoffs* perfect time for Peter to stalk off huh. Keep your eyes out for Peter. He has some explaining to do, and isn't really trustworthy.

The clock tower rang eleven pm, and the group jumped.

Lucian: we should get going. School starts tomorrow. We need our sleep.

Lily: ain't that the truth. Besides, curfew is in thirty minutes and it's going to take about half an hour to get to our dorm with the secret area anyways XD

The group dispersed, and left for their own dormitories. When the girls entered the dormitory, Celeste and Cia were arguing. Evelyn signaled the other girls to stay behind the wall, so they aren't discovered.

Cia: Mother told us that we had to study, work hard, and be the best! Here you are sitting around doing nothing!

Celeste; Cia, chill. School doesn't even start til tomorrow anyways!

Cia: Mom needs our help-

Celeste: with what?? She lives in the house and she's doing just fine! I don't want to follow in your antics anymore!

Cia: I AM THE OLDEST! WHICH MEANS I MAKE THE DECISIONS!

Celeste: *cowers* you don't own me!

Cia: *cackles* if you remember dear sister, I know your fear of utter darkness. *flickers the lights* shall we relive that fear?

Celeste: NO!

Cia then proceeds to make the entire room completely pitch black. Filled with rage, Ember lights up a fire within her hand.

Ember: HEY ASSHOLE! *throws the fire into the fireplace* Leave her alone and grow a backbone.

Cia: stay out of it! This is between me and my sister.

Evelyn: not anymore. Celeste is our friend.

Cia scoffed and left the building, leaving a trembling Celeste.

Lily: are you okay Celeste?

Celeste: I'm fine. She just frightened me that's all.

Evelyn: who is your mother that Cia mentioned?

Celeste: her name is Ava, and she's been our caretaker since we were little. When we got older, the court decided that they didn't need her anymore, so she lives in the village.

Ember: Hmmnnnnn

Lily: well get your stuff. You're not staying with your sister.

Evelyn; you can stay with us.

After everyone had helped the princess gather her things, they gave her a place to sleep at. Eventually, Ember and Celeste fell asleep. Evelyn signaled for Lily to follow her to the bathroom, and Lily obliged.

Evelyn: Well, we definitely know who not to trust anymore.

Lily: did you see the fact that Cia had the power of darkness, that's.....

Evelyn: super sketchy I know.

Lily: We will definetely have to talk to the boys tomorrow.

The next morning, the four girls woke up to the ringing of the clock tower.

Lily: sleeeepppp I need sleeeeeeppppp

Evelyn; Come on. We don't have time! It's already nine thirty!

The girls quickly got dressed in their school uniforms and rushed down stairs to the Gathering Hall. Once they were seated, professors sent papers flying to each individual student.

Harley: looks like we have our basics together. History, Magical animals, and then we have our Elemental training where we split up for the other half of the day.

Atlas: yeeeet

Lily: oh! We forgot to tell you!

Lucian: OOH TEA!

The girls then proceeded to tell the tale on how they saved Celeste and how Ember basically saved the day.

Jax: WICKEDD

Evelyn; I forgot to ask, what is your power Celeste?

Celeste: well since I'm from the royal bloodline, I have the ability to receive more rare powers. CIA's power is darkness, she uses her anger to fuel her power.... mine is the power of light.

Evelyn: soooooo....

Celeste: I can use the sun to my advantage, and I can also use fire, for it's also used as a light.

Suddenly, the bell rang signaling the students to walk to their first class. To their surprise, they saw Vera, the oldest of the Fates standing at the front of the classroom.

Keyren: what in the world.....

Vera: Welcome to your first lesson of Yumiara Academy of Magics. I am your professor, so please have a seat. 

Harley: what are we learning today?

Vera: The History of how Anala was saved.

Ember: ooooooOooOh spooky!

Vera:  You all know the story of how Desmond and Annalyn's love correct? Good. However, I think it's important to go back in time to when it was just Annalyn and Amara. Please open your books to page 10.

Atlas: *whispers to everyone* this is the ancient way of people have receipts.

Keyren: *coughs* I'm quaking. 

Vera: telling you would be exhausting. Let me show you.

Suddenly; the students were standing up; and below them were napmats and bean bags all over the place.

Atlas: SWEEET NAPTIME

quickly, the children laid down, and were able to fall asleep.

There were two little girls that looked similar. They sat on a large mattress and were giggling. Finally, they collapsed on the bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Amara, promise we will be best friends forever.. I couldn't imagine a life without you."

"I promise. What's the worse that could happen?"

Annalyn smiled, and squeezed her sisters hand contentedly.

The scene flashed to the sisters on their sixteenth birthday. Annalyn and Amara stood giggling. Annalyn spun her hands as light emitted from her palms. Amara was able to flicker the lights out, and make the room grow darker.

"Annalyn, isn't this amazing?? We could take over the kingdom, rule Anala and get all the power we want!"

"We don't need all the power in the world to be happy."

"Says you, the perfect daughter who's loved and adored by our father-"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You very well know what that means!! You could ascend the throne even I was born first!"

Annalyn and Amara shot out their powers, and they collided into one causing a spur of fireworks.

From then on, it wasn't the same. Amara began to show hate towards her father. When Annalyn fell in love with Desmond, she kept it a secret, causing Amara to get suspicious. Annalyn gave half of her mortality to her love, and presented him to the court. King Derik was pleased, and asked they get married quickly. This only infuriated Amara even more, and so she sought our her own lover. At a similar time, both of them were pregnant.

On one fateful night, Amara decided that she would kill the king, and her sister. She succeeded in killing the king, but could not kill her sister. King Desmond decided that Amara would be banished after her son was born, and that she would go to the Shadow Isles. Unfortunately can't, Amara took her son, in hopes that her daughters would free her.

The children grew up together and soon, it was time for them to go to the Yumiara Academy of Magics.

There were the twin girls, and there were Annalyns daughters; Mera, Vera, and Tara. In addition, there were other people, but after a couple of years, they found their soulmates.

Together, they laughed, worked, and studied together through their time at the Academy. However they began to get suspicious of one of the twins. It turns out, they were working with their mother Amara, to gather magic. Unfortunately, Amara came and attacked the realm and surprised everyone. By doing this, many people died. However, there were a select few who stood together and they were able to lock Amara in the Shadow Isles once more.

As the battle came to an end, the author gave Annalyns daughters a large amount of power so they could see into the future, and help protect the realm.

The students woke up from the deep slumber with a start.

Evelyn: WOW. What a naptime.

Atlas: you could say that again.

Ember: is there a way to find more about the eight pairings?

Vera: well, actually, yes! You can find out in the memory room.

Jax: The what now?

Vera: the memory room. It's an enchanted room full of memories from the beginning of time.

Lily: well that's....

Keyren: interesting.

The bell rang, causing the students to jump from their trance of thought.

Ember: we have magical animals!!

The group quickly ran down to the entrance of the forest, and there stood a woman next to a beautiful Griffin.

Lucian: OMG

Alice: Welcome to your first magical lesson of Griffins!

Ember: OMG IM DREAMING!

Alice: They are known for having the body of a lion, but the head and wings of an eagle. They can make great companions, and wonderful sidekicks. Their golden feathers have magical properties for healing rare diseases, and their tears are very useful for helping things come back to life, whether it be an animal, a plant, or even a person.

Evelyn: ooooooooohhhhh

The group spent the next hour learning all they could about Griffins. From their anatomy,, to their magical properties, and how to interact with them, it was an engaging first lesson.

Finally, it was time for their elemental training, and the group began to split into smaller groups.  In this lesson they focused on creating a small part of their elemental powers, and making it grow larger. Some struggled, while some excelled. Soon, it was the end of the day, and the students were dismissed, as there were no more classes.

Evelyn: shall we meet after dinner?

Jax: yes. We have some digging to do.

Atlas: TO THE MEMORY ROOM
