Evelyn, Atlas, Harley, Jax, Lucian, Keyren, Ember and Lily are all online

As the group gathered around, Vera approached the podium. Every set of eyes followed her regal movements. Vera stood with a small smile and began to address the crowd.

Vera:
Good evening, citizens of Anala! Welcome to our annual Sun and Moon Masquerade. As you know, this tradition stems from the very children that our creator had. One child was named Zahra , and she possessed the power of the sun. In turn, Zahra had a twin sister named Astra, who had the power of the moon. As they reigned from the kingdom of the clouds, they realized that the citizens needed an advantage against their enemies, the Shadow Isles. The realm was going to war with them, and our kingdom would have lost to their dark powers. The two sisters decided that they would create a spell that would heighten the citizens power from midnight until dawn. Because of this, our realm was saved, and it flourished due to their heroic deeds. Several years later, Zahra gave birth to a son named Derik, who would rule the kingdom for a long time. In turn, the King and Queen had a set of twin daughters- Annalyn, and Amara.

Keyren: *whispers to the group* Ladies and gentlemen, the volume in the building-

Atlas: Is Astronomical!

Vera: Please enjoy yourselves, and remember the memory of our ancestors!

Evelyn: WHAT. THE. BELL.

Ember: my thoughts exactly.

Lucian: Now we know how Anala really came to be I guess. But the question is, who created the Shadow Isles?

Jax: I suppose we shall find out, won't we?

Evelyn: guys guys guys! Look!

The whole group transfixed their eyes to the two women coming down the stairs, presumably Celeste and Cia.

(The mask is supposed to be black and gold)

Harley: the question is, which one is which?

Lily: well we certainly can't just stand around waiting. Go mingle or whatever, but keep an eye on them.

The group dispersed, and the music began to play a  upbeat. The couples who had came together began to dance with the rest of the crowd. Out of the corner of Harley's eye, he saw Vera beckon the two of them to follow.

Vera: we both know that something is happening tonight. You need to get Celeste, and have her delay it as long as possible.

Keyren: Wait! You said that me and Harley will either save the kingdom or make it fall. What do you mean?

Vera: That's the thing, my visions only see things that are going to happen. I can't see your future anymore or the Realms.

Harley: O-o

Vera. A lot of it depends on tonight-

Keyren: wait, who's going to protect the people of Anala? What's going to happen to them?

Vera: I don't know. It's up to you-

Harley: No no no! Aren't you and your other sisters the most powerful here? Why can't you do something?

Vera: I have my own battles to fight, and I haven't much time. *hands them a scroll* Use this in your hour of need. I most go and see my sisters.

As the two of them looked at one another in confusion, Vera disappeared in a blink of an eye. Suddenly, their attention focused on the clock striking eleven, and both of their faces paled.

Harley: We only Have an hour???

Keyren: looks like it. What did she give you?

Harley unfolded the scroll, and his brows furrowed in confusion. Keyren examined the paper and suddenly inhaled a sharp breath.

Keyren: it's a spell to stop time.

Harley: bloody hell.

Harley scanned the room, and quickly summoned his friends into the study. The group had a sinking feeling as soon as they saw Harley and Keyren's faces. Without delay, they both explained everything so that everyone understood.

Evelyn: okay, so we're going to have to split up. Some of us will have to watch the Fates, and the others will go after Cia. If all goes to hell, we should meet at the Cabin. I've taken precautions, and there are bags for each of us that are filled with essentials.

Jax: Look you! Being the mom friend!

Atlas: Wait wait wait, so are we going to freeze time?

Evelyn: if we have to. But let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Lily: How on earth do we do this?

Evelyn: as a team. We ready?

Ember: wait! We need a team name!

Evelyn: *smiles* How about.... The Chosen? We were chosen when we were born, and we are chosen now to save our Homeland

Lily: *low key sniffles* I freaking love it.

Evelyn: Harley, Keyren, Ember and Jax, you stay here, make sure all hell doesn't break loose. The rest of you will follow Celeste and wing it from there.

The group nodded in agreement, taking in the last of everyone's faces. They had all prepared for the worst, but they didn't want to say goodbye.

Lucian: this isn't goodbye right?

Evelyn: *grabs hand* of course not. It's a see ya later.

The group dispersed once more and got into their positions. Evelyn noticed that the twins were going upstairs, and beckoned the rest to follow her. Finally, the whole group made it to their secret tower and entered the secret room.

Cia; I knew you would follow me Celeste. At least you've taken some advice on fashion.

Celeste: Good, then you know why I'm here.

Cia: so you and your friends can stop me! *cackles* How pathetic! As if you and your group of freaks could stop me!

Celeste: we can certainly try.

Cia: So optimistic. You always were. But the thing is dear sister, you don't even know the half of what we're planning.

Celeste: Well obviously you're here to bring Amara back-

Cia: yes that's true, but that my dear is just the Tip of the iceberg.

Cia glanced at the clock and realized that it was 11:45. She smiled a sadistic smile and laughed with glee, knowing that there was nothing that Celeste could do to stop her.

Celeste: Right, enough of this then. Time to get the show on the road.

Celeste and Cia both shot out their powers towards each other, and made them clash together. Both daughters had equal amounts of strength, and neither of them were waivering. Suddenly, Cia collapsed to the floor revealing Atlas using his telekinesis powers to hit her with a cast iron pot.

Atlas: CLOCK CLOCK MA'M

Lily: this should do the trick XD

Lucian; Quick! We have to hide the evidence! It's almost midnight!

Lily quickly used her powers to create a variety of strong vines. Quickly, she guided her powers to Cia, and placed her in a closet. While that was happening, Celeste was fidgeting with her fingers. Celeste has always impersonated her sister as a young child, but this was war. Lives were at stake, and it is up to her and her friends to save the realm.

Atlas; Wait, if Amara is coming through the mirror, don't we just have to break the mirror?

Celeste; it's not that simple-

Atlas; *tries to smash the mirror, but is blasted back with powerful magic*

Lily: well that solved nothing. So what are we supposed to do?

Celeste: I've already thought of that. I have these gold shackles that should hold her-

Lily: until when? We know we need relics and magical essences, but lives are at stake. The realm is at stake.Even if the time spell works, what's our next move?

Celeste: you heard what Harley and Keyren said. The Fates can't see our future anymore. There are so many twists and turns that's impossible to predict what could happen. We take it as we go. Now quickly, hide, it's almost midnight.

The group hid behind the large bookcases, and remained silent. Suddenly, there was a flash of bright blue light as the gold ornate mirror began to glow. Next, the mirror began to shake, until the glass opened like a door. Evelyn and Lily glanced at one another, cold chills going down their spines and the hairs rose on their necks.

Amara has entered the chat.

(What Amara will look like)

Amara stood for a moment in complete silence, examining her features in the land of the living. A wicked smile appeared on her face as she glanced over her daughter in approval.

Amara: Thank you my daughter. You have done well.

Celeste; Thank you mother. I have worked hard to bring you back to the living. What shall we do now?

Amara: Where is your sister Celeste? I would very much like to introduce myself.

Celeste: she's.... tied up at the moment, entertaining the guests downstairs. It is the sun and moon masquerade ball after all. I know you see her as potential, but-

Amara; Shes more than that! She's powerful. Just like you are. She's your equal. If we are to find the six pieces to the symbol of unity, and the sword of light, we shall need a vast amount of magic.

Celeste; such as magical essences?

Amara; *smiles* exactly.

Celeste: *grabs Amara's hands* Mother, it's so glad to be reunited with you. After all this time, we can be together again.

Amara: Yes-

Celeste quickly hugs her mother, and locks her in the shackles while saying a few enchantments to make sure it's locked.

Amara: WHAT ARE YOU DOING CIA! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND??

Celeste: Actually, mother, it's Celeste. NOW!

Evelyn shot out a fountain of water at Amara as the group ran out the door. Evelyn held out her hand, in which Atlas, and Lucian grasper in order to channel their powers together. With the three of them combined, it was the electric current that made Amara twitch with agony. Her screams quickly turned into laughter, and she broke free from the current quickly.

Evelyn: LILY NOW!!

Quickly, Lily grabbed her friends with the multiple vines, and locked the door with poisonous ivy. Once her friends were on the floor, they began to rush to find Harley.

Atlas: We'll never make it! It's on the far side of the corridor!

Evelyn: never fear. *lets out her loudest wolf howl.* I told Harley to listen out for the howl so he knew danger was coming.

Celeste: Lets go. Quickly! We haven't much time!

Harley, Jax, Ember, and Keyren all stood together, waiting for the Fates to give one last speech to the crowd. Harley's hairs stood on the back of his neck once he heard Evelyn's howl. He knew that time was running out, and that they would need a new plan. Suddenly, the room got extremely quiet, and the flames flickered. A loud bang caused everyone to scream, and the glass windows exploded. Many small black tornadoes came through, and took possession of the professors.

Jax: that happened a lot faster than I thought.

Keyren: our Visions! There all coming true!

Vera: Citizens of Anala I invite you to remain calm-

Suddenly, a dagger slit across all three of their throats and all three of the Fates collapsed on the ground dead. The group looked for a source of who killed the Fates, but the only thing they saw was the dagger. A sinister laugh echoed through the hall causing the group to form a defensive circle.

Jax: Oh my god

Ember: What the bell!

Harley glanced at the Fates, and noticed three glowing bottles with their individual chains on the three sisters.

Keyren: Harley! The magical essences!

Harley nodded in agreement and signaled for Jax to grab them. Ember took that as her cue to start firing fireballs, until she finally heard a screech of pain. Amara came from her invisibility, and clutched her shoulder.

Ember: *smirks* BULLS EYE!

Jax quickly returned with the essences, and the two visionaries took an essence each, leaving one essence remaining. Both felt a surge of power through their veins, and their eyes glowed a bright blue.

Jax: Ooooohhhh

Ember: What do we do with the last one?

Amara: I'll take that- *reaches for the essence*

Keyren: OH NO YOU DONT!  *uses his wind powers to destroy the last one*

Harley: We've got to get out of here!

The group froze as they heard another howl signaling to everyone that they needed to meet at the Cabin as soon as possible. To make a point to Amara, Jax and Ember made sure she was secure with flames all around. When they had left the room, Cia came down the steps, and stared in horror at her mother being chained up.

Cia: Mother....

Amara: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! GET ME OUT OF HERE!

Cia quickly unraveled her mother from the vines and fire, and suddenly, Amara vanished with her black smoke following behind her.

Cia: so much for doing this together I guess.

The group reunited at the front of the castle, but they halted when they saw a sneering Amara.

Lily: woopsie, I don't think we invited you.

Amara: Who are you? Where do you come from?

Evelyn: im surprised you haven't recognized us. We are the children of those you fought against. I am Evelyn Shield, That is Harley Renshaw, to your left is Atlas Elderstone, Lilian Gray, Jax Bianchi, Keyren Rivers, Ember Hawthorne and Lucian Morning Star.

Amara: no, that's Impossible!

Keyren: Believe it sis.

Amara; Nevermind on that! *chains everyone in place*

Lucian: Well crap.

Amara: That should hold you and your powers until I'm done forcing out the essences out of your precious visionaries!

Celeste: STOP!

Amara; Ah, my other daughter, the traitor. I'm surprised you had the guts to actually come and face me, even without the mask. Now, enough of this chatter it's time I do what I came for.

Evelyn: There's no point in doing that.

Amara: I think I want to. Especially since you just destroyed the last one.

Suddenly, there was a big clap of Thunder, and several lightening bolts landed all at once.

Atlas: Wicked.

Harley: A man of beaming power! The visions are coming true!

Peter: You really don't  want to do that.

Lucian: Where the hell have you been!!

Evelyn: yeah seriously!

Peter:  been a bit busy trying to make sure all hell doesn't break loose.

Harley: Wait wait wait.... how do you know her???

Amara gave a sinister smile and Celeste and Cia both exchanged confused looks to each other.

Celeste: Your not.....

Cia: Our guardian are you?

Peter: I am your uncle, and my brother was your Father. I was indeed your guardian when you were younger.

Celeste: Christopher?

Peter: It's Peter by the way, Christopher was a fake name to keep the word from spreading.

Celeste; You- you acted as our Father! Why?

Peter: You didn't have a father figure. And I wanted you to have some sort of parental stability.

Cia: So what happened to our Father then?

Amara: I killed him. smirks* along with Peter's wife, wasn't it Maria?

Celeste: but.....why? Why would you do that?

Amara: I think Dear Peter is forgetting one particular thing. Go on Peter! Tell them!

Peter: *grimances* Well....

Lily: oh god what could be worse.

Peter: We used to be together okay!

Everyone: EWWW!

Amara: that is until he cheated on me with his wife. It's funny, I was actually going to marry him. But then I thought, why not take revenge instead by marrying his brother! *cackles*

Peter: In which she murdered him.

Amara: Yes, but I think what really sent me over the edge was the fact that you took all three of my children.

Everyone: ALL 3??

Lucian: Where's the third?

Peter: He is in the kingdom above the clouds, training to be one of the most powerful visionaries to protect Anala.

Everyone; ooohh

Atlas: sounds legit.

Amara: enough of this History lesson! It's time I take what I came for.

Peter: Not this time.

Peter suddenly grabbed Celeste's hand  and shot out flashing lightening bolts. This gave the group enough time to run towards the cabin. What they failed to realize, is that Cia was right behind them, more determined than ever to get the essences. When they arrived to the cabin, the door was locked tightly. Lily began to use her super strength in which the door fell off its hinges. Only Harley and Keyren were outside, with Celeste about to go inside.

Cia: HARLEY! KEYREN! WAIT!

Keyren: crap.

Harley; they both look like Celeste.

Keyren: how can we tell them apart!

Cia&Celeste: you guys have known me since the beginning. I have given you all that I can to help you.

Keyren: Wait, if you are really Celeste, show us  your power!

Celeste began to show a bright beaming light that was soft, and beautiful to watch. The other Celeste smirked and shot out a powerful beam of light that was almost blinding. It was so bright, that Harley and Keyren has to kneel to the ground so they wouldn't be blinded. Suddenly, the brightness was gone, and Cia was getting attacked by a familiar wolf. Evelyn snarled, and bared her teeth at Cia who laid on the ground more frightened than ever.

Atlas: *whispers and does the tik tok movement* GO GO GO GO GO

Keyren: GO GO GO GO GO GO

Atlas: WHOS NEXT!

Evelyn dragged Cia by her ankle, and Lily tied her up with many vines, making sure that she would be put for a long time.

Lucian: That's my girl. OW OW OWWWWWWWWW

Evelyn: *shifts behind a tree and changes*

Jax: THAT WAS AWESOME!

Evelyn: I know that Celeste wouldn't use her powers on us like that. When I saw the light was getting brighter, I saw Cia trying to go for the magical essences on Harley and Keyren's neck. So, I shifted and attacked her.

Harley: What time is it?

Keyren: 12:30, why?

Harley: we need to perform the time spell if we are to still have an abundant amount of power.

Lily; besides, the castle grounds are turning into the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter so we gotta JET ASAP!

The group assembled together in a circle and held hands to channel all of their powers.

Ember: how do we do this?

Harley: I've studied the basics, and it looks like we have to envision the clock that controls the realm, and the time we wish to be frozen at.

Jax: sounds legit.

Keyren: Picture the clock tower, and the number 12:30 symbolizing early morning hours. Then, follow my lead.

The group followed Keyren's instructions,and soon, an image of a lock and key appeared before them. To finish the spell, the key went into the lock, and finally stopped time.

Harley: We did it!

Peter: Well done *gasps for air* Lets go Before Amara figures out our secret.

Lily; We need the symbol of unity, and the sword of light-

Peter: yeah and it's not here. Cmon. I'm gonna get us out of here.

Ember: you still owe us an explanation for why you deserted us!

Peter: *points to the monsters coming towards them* Unless you want to die,  you need to come. Otherwise you'll be dead within minutes.

The group exchanged groups with one another before agreeing. They held hands once more, and Peter used his power of teleportation. When the group opened their eyes, they were standing in front of a large mansion.

Evelyn: Where are we?

Peter: Welcome to the Author's Mansion.
