Sooooo this is sort of a fluffy chapter, but it's also got suspense and it's super long so here we go!

Evelyn Atlas Keyren Ember Lily Jax Harley and Lucian are online

Evelyn was tense as she gathered the necessary supplies for her first full moon shift. She would definitely need a new change of clothes, and some bandages for sure. She wasn't sure what to expect, for this time. The first time she felt it, it was when she discovered her powers. This would be a lot more painful, and last a lot longer. There was a knock on the girls common room and Evelyn opened it to find the whole group standing there with uplifting smiles.

Harley: SURPRISE! *gives her a hug*

Evelyn: What are you doing here?

Ember; well first off, we live here XD

Lucian: you didn't actually think that you were gonna do this on your own did you?

Evelyn: it is incredibly dangerous....

Lily: we are with you, until the end.

Evelyn: *tears watering* WHO CUT THE ONIONS!

Keyren: We have snacks,

Harley: and I made a healing potion

Atlas: and drinks! WOOO!

Jax: while you were prepping for tonight, I found the perfect meeting spot.

Everyone then set out quickly to the spot that Jax had selected. With every passing moment, Evelyn grew more tense. Finally, they arrived to a small cabin in the woods. Suddenly, the clock stroke ten and immediately Evelyn fell to the ground in agony. Screams were let out as her bones began to crack. The group watched with worry, wondering when it would end.

Harley; Can't we do something??

Lucian: we can't interfere, we could get killed.

At the stroke of 11, Evelyn was fully shifted into a snowy white wolf with deep blue eyes. She stared at the group for a moment, not fully wanting to go near them in fear that she would tear them apart.

Keyren: AAWWWW LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS??

Atlas: AWWW CAN WE KEEP HER!

Ember: You do know that she's a human right? XD

Keyren: Atlas, do we have any chicken?

Atlas: OOOH YEAH! *throws drumsticks towards Evelyn*

Evelyn ate the drumsticks ravenously. When she was done she smiled as to say "Thank you."

Jax: Can we pet you?

Evelyn moved forward and allowed the whole group to feel her soft mane. Atlas took one more drumstick and tried to dangle it in front of her.

Atlas: HEHE YOU CANT GET IT! *runs away with it*

Lucian: bro, don't do that you will die! XD

Atlas: I LAUGH AT THE FACE OF DaNgEr!

Evelyn was soon on Atlas's heels, and a mischievous smile appeared on her wolf features. She leaped over Atlas, and grabbed the drumstick. After she ate the last one, she stood by the lake and made droplets appear all over.

Jax: Wooaahhhhh!!

Finally, Evelyn dropped the water, causing everyone to get a little wet. Quickly, she went behind the tree and shifted into her human self and changed quickly.

Evelyn: Ugh I feel sore.

Harley: Here! *hands healing potion*

Evelyn: *drinks it* thanks!

Jax: That.....Was...

Atlas/Keyren: AWESOME!

Ember: XDDD

The group returned to the cabin, and found many blankets by the couch.

Lucian: looks like this place has been abandoned for a long time.
Lily: there's some spare wood and a bunch of candles all around we should be warmed up in no time. *gives a look towards Evelyn*

Evelyn: Hehe!

Ember: Allow me to assist you *makes a fireball and throws it towards the fireplace* TA DA!

Harley: *makes little flames and places them on the candles.*

Keyren: Lets review shall we?
We live in on Earth, and at the school dance we escape to our old treehouse where a bunch of mercenaries tried to kill us. Somehow we survive and are saved by Peter. He tells us the History of Anala and how it came to be and then basically deserts us. Cia is basically working with Amara to bring her back from wherever but Celeste doesn't know that she's related to the evil mom because her memory was wiped.  Apparently Amara wants every magical essence and relic so she can rule the world and all that. However we actually stand a chance in  defeating her because there are these prophecies. If we fulfill the good prophecies, then we should be good to go.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, causing everyone to jump.

Lucian: we aren't expecting anyone art we?

Keyren: Celeste has been at the Library looking for something, a weapon we can use against Amara, I told her to come here at this time when she was ready.

Ember: Wait! How do we know it's her?

Jax: I suppose we will just have to ask her, something that Cia wouldn't know.

Lily: I'll do it. *grabs a bat and opens the door* 

Celeste: Guys! It's me! Put your weapons down!

Lily: not yet. Tell us one thing that Cia doesn't know about us.

Celeste: She doesn't know you are from earth.

Lily: okay, tell me something about me that I have only told you.

Celeste; Your mom named you Lillian Gray, Short for Lily because it was your moms favorite flower.

Lily: *puts down the bat* Okay, ya passed.

Atlas: did you find anything?

Celeste: I did actually. I found the pieces that you need to defeat Amara.

Ember; oohhh do tell.

Celeste; this is from the restricted section. 
"To defeat the eternal darkness, you shall need a symbol of unity and the sword of light."

Harley; is there a way to find those?

Celeste; unfortunately, the page has been ripped out. So no.

Lucian; okay so we need a symbol of unity, and a sword of light.

Evelyn: We also have these prophecies.

Celeste: So do you have a plan?

Harley: I was actually thinking about it today. We can't stop her from coming necessarily, but we can certainly throw Amara off course, and we can delay it as long as possible. Celeste looks exactly like Cia, so what if, Celeste went in her place? Even though we don't necessarily understand what the prophecies mean , we still have all day tomorrow to figure it out.

Ember; but if that mirror opens, that means that the professors will turn against everything that they have stood for.

Evelyn: in any case, we should have a bag of stuff to escape with just in case. We can't save the realm if we are dead.

Atlas: but where on earth does she even hide? This castle is huge, and it will take forever to hide her.

Celeste: I've been following her tracks, and it looks like she goes to the same tower that you all go to.

Everyone: WHAT?

Lily: and you didn't think to tell us???

Celeste: I only just found out today, I figured there would be some sort of knowledge since there are so many random objects up there.

Ember: and?

Celeste: and nothing! She completely just disappears! I've tried to find the secret hatch but nothing has worked!

Jax: ooohhh tricky i seee....

The group gathered their things and traveled to the tower once more, careful not to disturb anyone. Celeste showed the door in which Cia dissappeared and they began to search for some sort of secret door. Harley moved towards the floor, and began to inspect the floorboards. 

Lucian: What are you looking for?

Harley: some sort of mechanism or some loose floor board....

Harley was finally in front of the bookcase, and found the loose floorboard right underneath it. As he was moving his fingers, they accidentally came upon a switch that made two torches come out of the bookcase.

Everyone: O-o

Jax: We might as well pull one. *pulls and allows the bookcase doors to open*

Lucian: Easy enough XD

The group cautiously crept inside, and found mirrors hanging on every wall. In the middle, was a golden ornate mirror, and a table with many books.

Ember: The Shadow Isles.... What are the Shadow Isles?

Celeste: *face pales* it's the land of the dead. 

Keyren: So how can the dead come back to life? If they are dead don't they stay dead??

Celeste: usually yes. Legend has it that if someone were to pass, then they would be judged by the creator. If they had been a good person through their life, they would go to the eternal Celestial Gates to live in peace. If they did not, they were banished forever into the Shadow Isles. However, they can come back to life, should they find a body to possess.

Lily: ewww

Harley: That's it! That's what Amara and Cia are trying to do! That makes sense because I saw so much black smoke coming and that's how they took the professors!

Ember: WHAT THE BELL.

Evelyn: Okay..... Is there like a set timer for when Amara will come to the land of the living?

Keyren focused on the mirror, and tried to channel some of Amara's energy.
Immediately, he was set in the vision as he saw a vast amount of fleeting images. The first image he saw was the clock tower striking midnight,  the second one was the three ladies in black, and finally, it showed a person saving them with beaming power.

Harley turned towards Keyren, and ran over to see the blood dripping from his nose. Quickly, he channeled his power to try and bring Keyren out of the vision. Asa result, they both landed on the floor, fully conscious.

Evelyn: *handing them both a handkerchief* OMG ARE YOU OKAY?

Keyren began to explain what happened, and the group looked among themselves, unsure of how on earth they would tackle this kind of force.

Evelyn: Okay so new plan............

Atlas: OOOOH THAT SOUNDS GOOD............

Ember: But how will we even accomplish this????

Celeste: Leave that to me..

(Yes I did that on purpose, for suspense purposes 😂)

The group ended their discussion, and sat in silence watching the stars fade. Harley finally yawned, and left to go to sleep.

Keyren: So who is everyone going to the ball with?

Everyone shrugged and mumbled exhaustedly, not exactly having a full plan.

Keyren: okay well being the amazing and extra self that I am, I'm gonna ask Harley. But I need your help.

All the girls squealed and tackled Keyren. This caused his face to turn tomato red.

Atlas: congratulations Keyren! I'm so happy for you! As for me, I have a few ideas. 😉

The rest of the group chimed, but decided they were no use in saving the world if they were exhausted.  However, all of the boys decided sleep was for the weak, and decided to create something epic. When the clock tower striked noon the next day, Evelyn rose, and went to find Harley.

Harley: Evelyn! What's up?

Evelyn: I was wondering if you wanted to get some lunch?

Harley: That would be great!!

As the two of them walked to the Gathering Hall, they reminisced some of their old memories of growing up together, laughing along the way.

Harley: Remember when we escaped from the dance?

Evelyn; *chuckles* that seems so long ago. I feel as if that was a whole different time.

Harley: well sure, we have magical powers, and we found out about our parents, and were trying to destroy this evil force.

Evelyn: true, but ya know what? I'm still so happy we made it as a group.

Harley: me too.

As they entered the Gathering Hall, they noticed that Keyren and the rest of the groups were standing on the long tables, Harley cast a glance at Evelyn, as to say "What in the world is going on?"

Evelyn; *smiles* just watch.

Keyren cleared his throat, and all eyes were on him.

Keyren: Welcome to the Ultimate Boyband performance. As you well know, The Masquerade is tonight. After you left to go to sleep. I have asked my fellow comrades and helping me ask a very important question.

Harley: Mkay.... O-O

Keyren: *singing and leading the group in a legendary Boyband performance*

I told the Witch Doctor I was in love with you!
I told the Witch Doctor I was in love with you!
And then the Witch Doctor Thry told me what to do!

Boys: HE SAID OOH EEE OOOH AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG!

Keyren: *continues to sing*

You've been keeping love from me and I'll admit I wasn't very smart. So I went and found a person who's so much wiser, and they taught me how to win your heart!

Girls: OOH EEE OOOH AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG!

Keyren: *continues to sing*

My friend the witch doctor she taught me what to say.
My friend the witch doctor she taught me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you!

Keyren looks at Lily who as you know, is not really the dancing type. As the whole crowd gazed at her for puppy eyes, she finally caved, and sang along this one verse with a smile.

Lily: OOH EEH OOH AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG!

Keyren: Harley as you can see I'm here to show my love. There's only one question that comes from above! Will you go to the ball with me, It'd fill me with such glee! In addition I was wondering if you would go out with me?

Harley: I-

Evelyn: WAIT! There is only way that he can answer to say yes!

Everyone looked at Harley with hopeful looks. The group watched as Harley nodded for Keyren to follow him to the table, and has Keyren sit down.

Harley: *climbs up on the table and clears his throat before singing*

Keyren! I'm here to express that my love is true! Keyren, I would be honored to go to the ball as two! I'd also like to go out with you!

Everyone: OOH EEH OOH AH AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG!!   OOH EEH OOH AH AH AH TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG!!

Ember: WHO CUT THE ONIONS!!

Evelyn: Omg seriously, that was absolutely adorable!!

Quickly, the girls snatched Lily, and placed her in the same seat that Harley was while trying to contain their giggles.

Lily: Uhhhhhh 0-o

Ember: I think someone has to ask you something XD

Atlas: *leads another legendary performance*

Caught my heart about one two times
Don't need to question the reason I'm yours! I'd move the earth or lose a fight just to see ya smile.
Cause you got no flaws!

Keyren: NOOOO FLAWS!

Atlas:
I'm not trying to be your part time lover, sign me up for the full time, I'm yours *looks directly at Lily* ALL YOURS!

Boys:
WHAT A MAN GOTTA DO, WHAT A MAN GOTTA DO, TO BE TOTALY LOCKED UP BY YOU! M
WHAT A MAN GOTTA SAAAAY
WHAT A MAN GOTTA PRAY!
TO BE YOUR LAST GOODNIGHT AND YOUR FIRST GOOD DAY!

Atlas: Lily, will you go to the ball with me?

Lily: *low-key sniffling* of course I will!!

All the girls: AWWWWWW

Ember: looks like Lily is getting soft!

Lily: Ay! *playfully shoves her but almost knocks her to the floor* Yeaah I can still throw any of y'all if I wanted too.

Ember: noted XD

Jax: is that it?

Lucian: WAIT! There is one more thing we gotta do before we take a nap XD.

Suddenly, all of the boys grinned at Evelyn, making her nervous fidget.

Evelyn; is there something I need to know? O-o

The whole group shoved Evelyn in a seat and faced her towards Lucian. Evelyn turned around to see the rest of the group smiling and giving her a thumbs up.

Lucian: My dearest Evelyn, I have decided to perform for you, for I cannot just ask how other peasants would, I wanted to go above and beyond. *clears throat*

Lucian: so? What do you say? Will you go out with me?

Evelyn: *wipes away tears* of course I will!

The whole group cheered, and gathered in for a group hug. For the next hour, they took the time to enjoy themselves, without worrying about the future. It was the most peace the group had ever felt, and they wished that time hadn't flown by so fast. When the clock struck two, the men went to nap, while the ladies went to go get ready. When they were all dressed, they decided they would sneak to the tower to have one final pep talk. When the boys heard the door open, their jaws dropped at the sight of the beautiful ladies.

Atlas: You look....

Lily:*smirks* I know. You don't look bad yourself.

Lucian: Absolutely..... Breathtaking.

Evelyn: I can see that, just don't stop breathing, or I may have to save you. XD.

Jax: Now that we're here,does everyone remember the plan?

Everyone: Yes.

Evelyn: remember, We have a time limit. If the enemy hurts you, hurt them back-

Lily: What if we get killed?

Evelyn; Walk it off.

Everyone: O-o

The group began to descend down to the party, but Evelyn had this weird feeling, that something was up.

Lucian: What is it love?

Evelyn: It is a masquerade, what if Amara knows that, and we can't figure out who she is?

Lucian: We will! We're gonna make it through this I promise. *holds arm for Evelyn to grab* shall we love?

Evelyn: *smiles* we shall!

As the group descended down the stairs, Harley and Keyren were having the same thoughts silently. After all, the future was up to them. As if they were trying to be in sync, they both grabbed each other as a sign of comfort to one another. Both of them looked at Atlas and Lily, who were calm and collected. Atlas turned to Lily, and gave her a reassuring smile in which she returned as best as she could. When they landed on the ground, the whole group turned to one another.

Lily; The ball doesn't start til 9 pm. We might as well mingle, see if anything is off.

As the group dispersed Evelyn and Harley stood by the food and buffet table. Harley noticed Evelyn's uneasiness, and touched her shoulder.

Harley: Evelyn, what is it?

Evelyn: Do you remember that one time I was feeling sad and you came over to cheer me up while we watched my favorite musical?

Harley: You like a lot of musicals XD

Evelyn: but my favorite was Phantom of the Opera remember?

Harley; Ah yes! Back when we were like 13 right?

Evelyn sat on her bed sniffling. She had a rough day at school, and didn't necessarily have the best time at home either. Suddenly, there was a tap on the window. Evelyn opened it to find Harley standing there with a smile.

"Harley! What are you doing here? You'll get in trouble!" Evelyn whispered

"I have come to cheer you up!"

Evelyn laughed as she helped Harley into her room. She was amazed at the size of Harley's backpack as she tried to help take it off.

"What's in there?"

"Your favorite snacks, some socks, and your favorite blanket that you left at my house from last time." Harley grinned. Evelyn squealed as she gave her best friend a huge hug.

"Shall we watch our favorite movie?" Evelyn asked with a grin.

"You mean your favorite movie?" Harley chuckled. "I suppose we can."

The two of them got comfortable on the bed and watched the famous musical Phantom of the Opera. Evelyn gasped as she noticed all the pretty gowns at the ball.

"Masquerade!!
Paper faces on parade! Masquerade! Hide your face so the world will never find you!

Masquerade!
Seething shadows breathing lies,
Masquerade! You can fool any friend who ever knew you!

Masquerade!
Leering satyrs, peering eyes,
Masquerade! Run and hide but a face will still Pursue you!

Harley: Ewwwwww

Evelyn: I knowwwwww! How ironic is that though?

The two of them both felt a shiver go down their spines, and goosebumps appear on their arm. Harley turned towards the staircase, and saw the three Fates standing there. The trumpet blew, signaling the beginning of the Masquerade, one which no one would ever forget
