53. The Final Day
Annabeth's dress clung to her wet frame as she and Percy ran as fast as they could. Her hair plastered on her face as she pushed it back violently and Percy looked just as dishevelled as the day she met him.
The wedding ceremony, hosted in Ludas Hall was easily the grandest celebration ever hosted. It was a tradition that spanned back hundreds of years and everything was expected to be perfect and proper. However, Percy and Annabeth were far from perfect as they stormed into the hall, with wide grins and soaking wet ensembles.
Everyone (besides their friends, who were too busy laughing) looked at them in horror. Athena looked ready to strangle them with her bare hands, but Poseidon was going to erupt into a fit of laughter.
"I CHOOSE PERCY JACKSON," Annabeth said out loud, taking his hand she lead him down the altar to where their friends stood, dressed in white and looking perfect.
The Priest, who had officiated the engagements as well, rolled his eyes and complained, "Really? This again?!?"
When the gang laughed, he sighed and continued.
"Before we were interrupted," he started, sneaking a glance at a visibly embarrassed Percy and Annabeth. "The Choosing ceremony has spanned over centuries and united many couples, who have ruled together in harmony. Now, to continue this tradition, we have an entirely new generation of Royals."
The priest must have spoken for another hour at least, but Percy didn't hear a thing. He was struck by Annabeth's beauty, yet again. Even soaking wet, nose pink and shivering from the cool breeze, he thought she looked like a Goddess. He still couldn't believe his luck. In a short while, his Wise Girl would become his wife, and he was overjoyed. Yes, giving up the Kingdom had been hard, but it was an easy choice to make. Percy knew what he wanted most, and that was Annabeth Chase.

It was finally time for the much-anticipated wedding ceremony to begin, and the first couple lined up were Thalia and Luke. Luke had, despite everyone's protests, grown a beard for the occasion.
"Your own vows?" the priest asked them.
Giving him a slight nod, Thalia cleared her throat and began. "Luke Castellan, when I first met you, I didn't think I was going to fall in love with you. But I did, and it's one of the best things I've done. You're the most annoying person I know, but I think I can put up with it as long as you're my husband. Our little family has kept me sane over the years," she gave Annabeth a quick glance, "and I'm sure it'll do the same forever. I love you, Luke, and it's my honor to be your wife. Only if you promise to shave that hideous beard," She chuckled.
Luke had a bright smile on his face as he started his vows, "Fine I will. You know, since we're the oldest here, I've always felt like we were the parents of these unruly kids," Luke chuckled, raising his eyebrows in the direction of Annabeth's wet frame. "But the thing is, I didn't mind it. Especially with you. I love you, Thals, and I always have. Even from the cliche moment I met you. Your spite, your confidence, heck, even all the insults you gave me...they just make me love you more. From now onwards, not a day will pass where I won't annoy you. I promise."

Next up on the marriage list, were Piper and Jason.
The officiant gestured for Jason to begin.
"Pipes, you have no idea how happy I am to be here today, standing before you. Our journey has had it's ups and downs, but nothing ever made me love you less. You mean everything to me. I know, even now, we're going to rule seperate Kingdoms, go our different ways, but I promise, I'm giving our marriage my all. No matter how far apart we may be, my heart will always belong to you," Jason smiled and squeezed Piper's hand.
"Jason Grace, I have made so many stupid choices, and you've loved me despite them, and I'm truly grateful to you for that. despite everything we've been through, you found your way back to me. I promise I'll never leave your side. Distance is temporary, but our love is permanent. Thank you Jason, for loving me unconditionally."

The officiant waved Frank and Hazel over. The couple stepped forward, both flushing bright pink.
Frank began before the officiant signified the beginning of the ceremony.
"Hazel...you're the nicest girl I know. I love you. Today, tomorrow and always." He looked over her shoulder nervously, registering a stone cold Nico and Hades looking at him. "I am so so lucky that you choose me and I promise I'll always be by your side. You deserve the world. Whoever created the world, must have given you the highlighter because you make it brighter everyday. I love you Hazel. Thank you for choosing me," he stuttered a bit at the end, but smiled brightly at his Princess, soon to be Queen.
"Frank Zhang. You're smart, kind, loving and caring. I love everything about you and I can't wait to be your wife. Thank you for agreeing to rule my kingdom with me and I promise that I'll try my best to support you in everything. You are my source of joy, the center of my universe and the whole of my heart. I love you Frank, so, so much."
Hazel stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek.

Nico hugged his sister on his way up the aisle. It was Will and himself next
"Will, You're my sunshine. You brighten all my days," Nico paused, biting his lip. He was blushing bright red. "And-and I love you. Ever since the day I met you and heard your God awful singing, I knew we had a connection. And I secretly hoped that that connection would lead us here today. I will do my best to be there for you, and be the best husband I can, the one you deserve." Nico finished.
"Aw, that was adorable," Will laughed, watching Nico redden. "Neeks... Where do I begin? You said everything I wanted to say. I love you. I love how grumpy you are in the mornings; I love how protective you are of the people you love; I love everything about you. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Will winked.
Will smirked as they returned back to the group, while Nico was still too red and bashful to look at his new husband.

Tyson and Ella came onto the stage, giggling and looking flushed. Though they were encouraged to stay engaged for an other year, they were adamant to get married with their brothers and sisters.
"Ella!" Tyson grinned a toothy smile, "We're finally getting married! I...I don't know exactly what to say. I'm excited to be married to you and I love you. You-"
A piercing scream filled the room and everyone whipped around to gape at King Poseidon, who looked liked he'd seen a ghost.
Sally got up, looking apologetic, "Sorry everyone! My water broke."
Tyson jumped off the stage, after pressing a quick kiss to Ella's lips and slipping the ring onto her finger.
The priest hastily declared them married as the room descended into pandemonium.
Percy and Annabeth rushed to Sally's side, pushing through the barricade of people that formed around her.
"Everyone move! Please give her some space," Annabeth yelled as loud as she could.
"Listen to my daughter!! Everyone MOVE," Queen Athena bellowed, with an air of supremacy. She sent a reassuring nod to Sally, "Poseidon and I will accompany her to the infirmary. Hera had Bob the Doc, prepare the birthing suite in case of something. Everybody else, don't worry, she's okay."
Sally grabbed her son's shoulder, "Percy, don't worry about me. I'll be fine," she reassured her worried son. "Get married. I'll watch it on tape later. I'm proud of you and the man you've grown to be."
Percy kissed his mom's head as she was being led away to the infirmary.
He patted his brother's back and reminded him that his wedding was still ongoing. And once recovered from the shock, Tyson scrambled back onto the stage to listen to Ella's vows.
She told him about how he loved him for him and how he was her best friend, the place she was happiest.
The priest gestured for the next couple.
