-time skip to next day-

Merida slipped on her rounded glasses and continued to work.

Ever since she'd come to Burk -which was about 1 day ago- she had been super bored. All she had to do was practice archery, but that gets pretty boring if your practicing 24/7.

So, she figured she would use up her time working. So, the only decent open job was a receptionist at the Burk hospital. She mostly led visitors to who they wanted to see, and she made calls a lot. Also in her free time she went through the lists of patients and made updated ones.

All of the other jobs had to do with actual customer service. Sure, this job was customer service, but Merida figured the people would be more reasonable because this was a hospital.

Someone rang the receptionists bell and Merida was finishing her sentence. "What can I help you with?" She looked up and saw Hiccup. "Oh, it's you."

"And it's you." Hiccup smiled "Why'd you get a job here?" Customer sevice? Out of all things?

"I get bored. And plus, the people are more reasonable here, so it all works out."

"You know you can get free dragon lessons if you're bored."

Merida shrugged. "I guess."

There was quite a long paise of awkwardness between the two until hiccup broke the silence. "So....Toothless?"

"Oh, yes!" Merida slightly nudged her glasses up and studied the study page. "Toothless...." She muttered. "He is in room thirteen," She looked up. "And recovering."

"Great, thanks." Hiccup said and rushed off to find his dragon.

He entered Room 13, where toothless was lying on one of the casual hospital beds, with is bad wing being held up by some sort cpnfusing contraption, but Toothless wasn't wearing his cast anymore.

"Hey bud!" Hiccup was so glad that he was recovering. "Is everything okay so far?"

Toothless nodded in agreement.

"So which nurse do you have? I hope that you got Dr.Trymer, because I used to always get in trouble as a kid with dragons, and so--of course-- my doctor was my friend and so this one time I-" Hiccup stopped himself by Toothless trying to communicate with his eyes.

And Hiccup knew ecxactly what he was trying to say.
