The car engine roared as Daisy Winters zoomed down the narrow lane, her two children were seated in the back. There was a monstrous cry from behind them. "Don't look back," Daisy cried as they turned onto the main road. Other cars swerved out of their way as they made their way down the highway toward Long Island. "Why are we going there, Mum?" asked the frightened girl on the right side of the car, her brother held her hand as they zoomed along a winding road. Lightning flashed and a large shadow loomed over the car. "They have found you we must get you to safety," Daisy answered. They were heading toward a hill with a large pine tree on it. The boy stared at the tree and squeezed his sisters hand more tightly. As the car started to climb the hill it made a spluttering noise and the engine began to falter. "We aren't going to make it," Daisy cried as the car came to sudden halt and started to roll back down the hill. "Everyone out we are going to have to run the rest of the way." Daisy's children jumped out of the car and started to run toward the tree. When they reached the tree, the boy turned around to look for his mother. He realised that she was not with them. In fact, she was still in the car, which was now at the bottom of the hill right next to the thing they were running from. Daisy was trying to open her door, it was jammed, the thing raised its foot above the car. "Noooooooo!!!" screamed the boy as the thing brought its giant foot down on top of the car. The girl started to cry, a cyclops had just killed their mother.
