I remember the first time I met Will and Nico was at the orphanage. Now I bet you're expecting me to say *makes a cutie face* "I knew they were going to choose from the moment they saw me." *drops cutie face* then you're wrong, I'm not that kind of girl. In fact I wasn't even expecting to go home with the Solace Di Angelo's. You see I was the odd one out, the outcast, the- I think you get the idea. Everyone -No matter where I went- called me a freak. If I had known then what I know now I'm sure things would've been different. I'm sure I could have made the children who hurt me pay, but that didn't happen. In fact I just sulked in the shadows, hoping, just hoping, things would change.

As time went on I sat in a corner away from the others, watching the two men. The man with a darker appearance noticed me staring, I looked away. Don't hope  I tell myself. You'll only disappoint.

But out of the corner of my eye I saw the darker boy talking to the lighter one. I saw them exit the room with Miss Volderman, she runs the orphanage. Minutes went by and Miss V. came over to me. "Lina," she says "Come with me please." I look at her confused, but I got up and followed her. All the way to her office I stared at the ground and refused to say anything. 

"This is, Lina. Is she the girl you were talking about?" I heard Miss V. say

I looked up just a little bit.

I felt the blond study me a minute till I felt uncomfortable. "Stop staring at me." I say

I saw the darker man smirk. "We'll take her."

I couldn't hide my surprise. My eyes got big and I just stared at the two men. "You're taking m-me?" I stutter

The blond looked at the dark one then at me. "Is that all right?"

I go back to my original expression. "It doesn't matter." I shrug.

"Well, if you two will sign here please she is all yours." 

I heard pen and paper scratching against each other. The blond man looked at me. "I'm Will, and this is Nico." The blond man said gesturing to the darker man.

"Hi..." I say, my face blank.

"Lina why don't you go pack your things while I have one more word with the Solace Di Angelos."

I walk out of the room not saying a word. I'm gonna be back in here before we even get into a car.
