Michael's POV

We had to fight like hell, but we were finally approved for adoption. We signed multiple papers and chose four beautiful babies. One is a cute Chinese baby boy named Jackie, another is a cute African American baby girl named Amanda, the other is a cute Asian baby girl named Cindy, and the last one is a cute European baby boy named Edward.

I squeeze Sky's hand as we stand close to the front door. Today is the day we get our babies. We couldn't be happier.

"Oh, What's taking so long?"

"Don't worry, Michael, they should be here any minute now. "

And just like that, there was a knock on the door. We quickly run to it and I open the door. There stood two professionally dressed women, both carrying two baby car seats.

"My babies! "

The women hand over the car seats. One of them say,

"You have a beautiful family, Mr. And Mrs. Jackson."

Michael looks at her and with tears in his eyes, he hugs her and says,

"Thank you. Thank you so much."

The woman hugs back and smiles.

"You're welcome."

They leave. Sky and I look at each other.

"We're parents, Michael...."

My eyes widen with joy. Sky tears up from happiness.

"We're parents, Michael!"

"I can't believe it!"

We quickly go into the living room and put the car seats on the couch. We look at the four babies staring back at us. All are smiling.

Sky says, "Well, I guess they need to get to know each other as well as us."

I clap my hands and say, "We're all new here!"

Sky starts to unstrap Amanda. She picks her up and looks into her eyes. Sky begins to cry as she says,

"I'm your mommy, Amanda. I'm your mommy."

I squeeze Sky's shoulder. I then turn my attention to Edward.

"Hey, buddy!"

I unstrap him and pick him up.

"I'm your daddy, Edward. Hi."

Sky giggles at me. I smile. I, with one hand, pull the blanket off the arm chair and put it on the ground. Sky helps me. I place Edward down on it and Sky places Amanda down on it. We unstrap Jackie and Cindy and put them on the blanket.

"Hi, Jackie, Hi Cindy, I'm your daddy. Jackie, Cindy, Amanda, and Edward, I want y'all to listen to this, I promise I will always love you guys no matter what."

Sky caresses my face then says,

"Your daddy is serious. He'll always love you all. And so will I. You guys never have to worry about being alone, because we're always going to be there."

I giggle and sing, "You are not alone, I am here with you..."

Sky smiles. She reaches over the blanket and grabs my hand.

"I love you, Michael."

"I love you, Sky."
