Boruto's point of view

'Why...'

'....out of everybody in the world...why does that man have to be my father'

'I heard stories from the villagers that he was a hero along with auntie sakura in the fourth great war'

'But he left us before I was even born...'

'Then he comes back into mine and kaa-san's life like he was never gone this whole time'

'...did he even want me?....Am I even worth anything to him?'

I've been running for 10 minutes straight. I ran in any direction I could go, I didn't care where I was going I just wanted to run away. I left shisui and my family behind when I ran away after I met my father.

'You know you can't just run away from your problems'

I landed right in the middle of the arena when I heard that line in my thoughts.

'Why did I know kaa-san's words would come back to me when I'm gonna do something reckless.'

I stood there looking at the sunset. The red, orange, yellow, and purple lights shined through the clouds as it was setting to sleep for the night. My legs finally gave out on me as I fell on the ground and burst into tears right there. I didn't care if anyone heard me, I needed to let it out.

My tears soon started coming to an end and anger took over me. I started to punch the ground with full force.

*Bam*

*Bam*

'I hate him'

'Why did he come back after all this time'

'Were-....were we not good enough for him'

Hit after hit the ground was starting to break and was being left with cracks and blood. My blood.

I hit the concrete ground one last time leaving it a big crack and dent with my blood spread out all over.

I looked down at my hands with no emotion and saw that my knuckles were broken and the blood was dripping down to the ground.

'I can't even feel my hands....I can't feel anything....just numbness'

I felt the tears come back and broke down again as I sensed a chakra coming close to the arena. I didn't care who it was maybe they would put me out of my misery.

'I just want to be alone'

Shisui's point of view

"BORUTO WHERE ARE YOU" I yelled out through the village, people just looked at me but then went back to what they were doing. Boruto took off and now I can't find him.

I came to a stop to sense his chakra. As I closed my eyes and opened them instantly after I locked on to him at the exams arena. I ran full speed to the arena and found him on his knees crying in the center of the floor.

I walked up next to him and kneeled down so he knows that I'm there.

He stopped crying after a minute and just stared at the ground. "You okay?" I looked towards his hands to see his knuckles broken and bleeding, the ground cracked with his blood spread out.

'He must of been punching the ground. I got to bring him to kaa-san'. I looked back up to him to see his eyes puffy and red from all the crying.

"No...I'm not....I honestly thought of kisame as my dad but...then come to find out....that my real dad has been out there this whole time.....and my kaa-san couldn't even tell me" his fist tighten again and I look up to see his eyes hold pain, sadness then anger.

"But boruto you can't blame your kaa-san for not telling you...she thought it was best not to tell you because then you would've took off to go find him without thinking it through" I looked down to the ground then back to the sun setting in the distance.

"Besides...I know how it feels to not be told something important by people you love...because they want to protect you from any harm" he looks to me full of curiosity wanting to know more.

"Really" I nodded my head to his response.

"When that snake guy orochimaru came to the village to try and kidnap me, he told me that my oto-san and kaa-san have been lying to me. He said that, that man named sasuke was my oto-san's brother....and no one told me about him..." I looked at him and he looked back at me with a sad expression.

"My kaa-san was an only child so I never asked her but when I would try asking my oto-san if he had any siblings he would dismiss the question or change the topic. No one had said a word about him knowing he was out there the whole time...and I admit I was a bit angry that day but I knew that...they all were just trying to protect me from him" I relaxed after tensing up, telling boruto how I actually felt about all that's happened.

Boruto hugged me and I hugged him back trying to comfort him as he was was crying a little.

"Its okay boruto, I'm here for you, we got each other's backs" I hugged him tighter but then I started to break down and cry letting all my tears out. We stayed like this for a while till I heard my kaa-san's voice.

"BORUTO, SHISUI" kaa-san landed kneeled down in front of us and hugged the life out of boruto since she was scared she couldn't find him.

"Where have you been boruto, I've been looking everywhere for you- *gasp* Boruto what happen to your hands?

He looked down to his hands and put them behind his back so she couldn't see them. "Nothing".

"You know you can't lie to your auntie, now give me you hands so I can heal them" boruto moved his hands out from behind him and showed his broken, bleeding knuckles.

Kaa-san looked at his knuckles with pain, knowing what caused him to do this damage. She started forming her healing chakra around her hands and put them over his knuckles. As his hands were healing it was silent, neither one dared to break the silence. Right before boruto's hands fully healed kaa-san spoke.

"Boruto...your kaa-san and oto-san are w-" kaa-san was cut off when boruto pulled away from her.

"I DON'T HAVE A FATHER" boruto yelled as tears came down his face. My kaa-san's eyes held sadness in them, she knew that all these years boruto needed a father figure which kisame filled that spot perfectly and lived a happy life so far until his real dad popped up out of nowhere.

"I meant kisame, boruto. I know your mad but you need to calm down, your kaa-san is worried sick about you. And I know for a fact you never want you kaa-san to worry about you especially now that your baby brother is here" she looked at boruto but his head was down so she couldn't see his face.

"*sigh* Anyway we need to start heading back to the village so you two can meet up with your teammate, we'll talk about this later boruto" kaa-san got up from kneeling and started to walk away heading to the gates.

"I don't want to go back if I have to see him for the rest of my life" boruto sat down on the concrete and started to throw a fit.

"Alright well how about this, I'll make a little wager with you two. I'll race you both back to konoha and if one of you wins I'll get you a month worth of your favorite food." she turned around and kneeled down to boruto's size again. I was actually surprise she was making a wager with us.

"Really" boruto looked up with stars in his eyes at my kaa-san as I stood next to her.

'Kaa-san is just like bāchan when she gambles but kaa-san wins unlike bāchan. Plus I already know what boruto is gonna want if he wins'.

"Yup, but if I win then the both of you have to help me around the office and start eating healthier for a whole month since I know your oto-san's spoil you and let you eat junk food when you go train". Both of us laughed since she figured out what we do during training.

Boruto looked to me to see if I wanted to take my kaa-san up on the wager. I knew this was gonna end badly but I smiled and sighed softly grabbing boruto's hand to get him off the floor.

"Okay we'll take you up on your wager auntie sakura" boruto and I shook hands with kaa-san to seal the deal. She started to head to the gates making me and boruto confused.

'Is she not gonna count us off for the race' I looked to boruto knowing he was think the same thing I was.

She stopped in her tracks then turned around and gave us a smile.

"See you guys at konoha" she then took off leaving me and boruto behind with no warning.

"HEY NO FAIR YOU GOT A HEADSTART" boruto then started to run after kaa-san and I just smiled knowing he's alright.

'For now that is'.

Hinata's point of view

We were heading back to konoha as the rest of konoha 9 and sasuke's team behind us in their own group along with the akatsuki surrounding me and kisame.

I looked up to the full moon that came out, shining light into the darkness of the night as we were already half way to the gates of the village.

'I hope they're alright, it's been a hour since the sun settled' I looked down to kado asleep and cuddled up to my chest.

"Hinata, they'll be fine. They can take care of themselves." I looked up to kisame who had a reassuring smile making me smile as well till a huge gust of wind passed by me making my hair fly forward.

"Your never gonna beat me boruto, you too kaa-san" a black blob that was shisui had gone by quickly followed by a yellow blob of boruto, both boys laughing with no care in the world.

"Sakura-chan are you racing the boys again for a wager you made with them" she was now walking beside me with daisuke in her arms and a smile that could rivals naruto's.

"Yeah but I'm giving them a headstart since I ran ahead of them, also I wanted to check on my precious little daisuke" she gave a kiss on the sleeping baby's forehead.

"And what about me hime" itachi appeared by her side and frowned, jealous because sakura-chan didn't mention him.

"I didn't forget you itachi-kun" she turned her head up to him as he leaned down since she was almost a foot shorter than him and kissed. I looked back to check on the others to see sasuke glaring at itachi's back.

'Dear kami if looks could kill, I think Itachi would be dead by now'

"Well the kids will be at the gate in a couple of minutes. I have a clone up ahead that has enough chakra to send us to the gates" sakura-chan stopped and turned to look to itachi, me, and kisame.

"Itachi I need you to take konoha 9 and team taka, shikamaru you take the akatsuki, I'll take hinata-chan and kisame since I need more rest due to childbirth" me and kisame-kun stood behind her and put our hand on her shoulder. (The babies are included too I just didn't mention it cause they're in they're arms).

"Hey itachi-kun" sakura smiled as itachi turned his head towards us when he got to the group he's taking.

"See who can get there first otto" (husband) we started to disappear in cherry blossoms and then seconds later appeared in front of the gates of the village.

"*Sigh* Looks like I beat itachi-kun to the gates" sakura-chan was breathing a bit heavy but then started to do a dance that was interrupted by kisame.

"Sakura-chan technically you cheated since you got a headst-"

*Bam*

"Shut up kisame, Itachi should have been able to beat me since he has more chakra than me even with the headstart I got."

He sat on his bum and rubbed the spot sakura-chan had hit with her fist while I made sure it didn't make that bad of a bump.

"Well I'm gonna sit down since itachi isn't here yet. Oh we should mask our chakra so when he gets here he thinks he won" sakura-chan jumped up the tall green gates to sit down and rest with daisuke, hiding her chakra from the others as well.

Kisame picked me up bridal style and jumped up to the spot next to sakura-chan setting me down next to her as he sat on the other side of me. We masked our chakra then sat there and waited for the others to arrive.

"The moon looks so beautiful don't you think kisame" I look up at the moon shining bright and smiled, remembering the night kisame and me got married.

Suddenly multiple crows started to appear and itachi-kun along with konoha 9 and team taka arrived in front of the gates then leaves formed as shika-kun with the akatsuki appeared behind.

"Looks like I got here before my blossom" itachi-kun chuckled. Just when sakura-chan was about to interrupt itachi's victory sasuke had beaten her to it.

"Why...?"

Looking over to sasuke his bangs were covering his eyes so I couldn't see his expression. Itachi-kun and everyone else turned their attention to him wondering what he meant.

"Why did you do it itachi?"

Sasuke finally looked up, glaring at itachi with hatred, the Uchiha brothers staring at each other.

"What do you mean sasuke?"

Itachi had his back towards us but his expression is probably an blank face.

"What I mean is why did you marry my teammate and have children with her?" sasuke was face to face with itachi, his sharingan and rinnegan on.

"Well its very simple otōto.....I love her" it went dead silent until itachi was punched by sasuke right in his jaw.

Sakura-chan was about to jump down to help Itachi but kisame put his hand up to stop her. She looked towards him and he whispered, "Let's hear what he has to say before we join the conversation, okay". She looked down at the uchiha's seeing itachi get up from the hit he took from sasuke then looked back to kisame and nodded before looking back at the brothers again.

"You bastard, how could you? You knew how I-".

"I win shisui, I got here first" boruto stopped in front of the gates with shisui right at his side with a big smile interrupting the conversation itachi and sasuke were having.

"No you didn't dobe, I did" shisui crossed his arms and looking away trying to make himself look cooler.

"No, I did teme and you know it. You were basically behind me." Boruto looked away trying to do the same thing shisui was doing.

"No I wasn't, I was by your side the whole time dobe and passed you up a few times. My foot hit the ground before your's so I win." Shisui looked back to boruto with a small glare on his face.

"You wanna fight teme, I'll take you on right here right now" boruto put his small fist up to shisui's face as he turned towards him.

'This reminds me so much of naruto and sasuke when I would go see sakura-chan' I smile as I remember when we were all young.

"Bring it on dobe" The boys grabbed each other's shirt as they glared at each other's until they felt the dozen of eyes staring at them which there were.

"Um...did we interrupt something" both shisui and boruto let each other go and looked to itachi and sasuke in a bit of fear since the air was very thick and heavy.

"We will finish this discussion in private" sasuke looked towards itachi then turned his attention to the gates and started to walk away to the hokage tower.

We then decided to come into the conversation since sakura-chan was a bit shocked about the two Uchiha brothers fighting.

When she landed in front of the group with me and kisame behind her the atmosphere was even thicker than it was before. The Uchiha brothers both looked away from sakura-chan's stare not wanting to talk about what just happened. The boys then ran up to us and broke the silence between the whole group.

"Kaa-san I beat you and the dobe to the gates, so you owe me dangos for a month" shisui smirked but boruto came from behind and punched shisui's head.

"Yeah right teme, you know that I won, auntie sakura owes me ramen for a month" both boys looked to sakura-chan which she looked to me to decided which one won the race.

"Actually both of you came at the exact same time but we got here first so sorry but you lost boys" I looked at boruto as he was about to cry and shisui just stood in shock.

"But we didn't see you pass us on the way here. Did you teleport to the gates Kaa-san?" I tried not to smile since both boys were upset and I know sakura-chan did what they assumed.

"Maybe" she then started walking towards the gates with daisuke still in her arms asleep heading to the hokage tower.

"That's not fair, you didn't say we could teleport back to the gates" boruto pouted since he wasn't gonna get free ramen.

"Well I never said you couldn't teleport to the gates now did I" sakura-chan started laughing while the two boys and everyone else started to follow behind us.

Both boys were pouting since they loss the wager while everyone else was still in a awkward state about the Uchiha brother's conversation about sakura-chan.

~ Sakura's point of view ~

Once we got to the tower I sat down in my chair and started to get to work with daisuke in my arm.

All of konoha 9, team guy, and team taka with the akatsuki came in and fanned out into my office. I put my pen down as I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in team 7" shisui, boruto, and their teammate gurren walked to the front of my desk, waiting for my response.

"What is your report team 7?".

"We have all been promoted to chūnin auntie sakura" boruto had a big smile just like his father while pointing to his new jacket.

I smiled and gave a little chuckle causing daisuke to let out a small coo as well.

"Congratulations team 7, I hope that you will become jōnin soon, maybe even anbu" I smirked seeing the sparkle in all their eyes.

"Now, all teams besides team 7, step forward so that we may discuss about the arrangements I will make for you" I handed daisuke to shisui since he was getting a bit fussy in my arms.

As everyone shifted around the room I grabbed the papers that were prepared by the elders for everyone.

"Now all of konoha 9 and team guy will be living in their homes under supervision by the akatsuki and will be put on D-rank missions til a year from now unless needed for any emergencies" all of konoha teams were very upset due to the down grade on missions and can't do much action.

'What did you expect, to be welcomed back with open arms and forget about everything you've done' I looked back down to the papers to calm myself from any outburst.

"And as for team taka, sasuke uchiha, you and your team will be living with me and my family til we rebuild the rest of the uchiha compound. We had an incident a few months ago. You will be under supervision by my husband and will remain in the village unless needed for any emergencies" the young uchiha just glared at me with a hint of sadness while I just sat there.

"Now, do I make myself clear everyone?" I leaned back in my chair as I put the paperwork down on my desk.

"Hai" everyone in the room had responded except for a certain uchiha.

"...." he stood there without taking his coal eyes off of me.

"Uchiha, I said do I make myself clear?" I had gritted my teeth to hold back my yell and not scare the children.

The young uchiha just stared at me with his cold eyes until finally he opens his mouth.

"Hai". I looked back down at my paperwork and prepared it for tomorrow morning.

"Then you are dismissed. Team taka follow my family back to our home where you will be staying" I stand up from my chair and walk to shisui and boruto with daisuke in shisui's arms.

"Let's go home shisui I'm making your's and papa's favorite tonight for dinner to celebrate you becoming a chūnin" I gently grab daisuke from shisui's arms and take his left hand in my right.

"Really kaa-san?" I nodded my head making shisui laugh as he can't wait to get home and eat his favorite food. Itachi takes shisui's right hand with his left and we walk together with the younger uchiha and his team behind us.

"See you tomorrow hinata-chan. Remember the boys are coming to the tower early tomorrow to help me with my work" I look back to hinata-chan as she and kisame hold boruto's hands.

"I won't forget sakura-chan. See you tomorrow" she turned to walk away with her family.

"Later teme" boruto waved to shisui and smiled.

"Later dobe" shisui smirked and turned forward to walk.

'I swear he acts cool just like his papa, but then again those cool moves did work on me' I smile as we walk away from the tower to our home.

I caught a glimpse of naruto and could see the regret in his sky blue eyes as he watched hinata and his son be happy with another man. I felt a bit of pity in my heart for him but pushed it away as I knew that it was his choice to leave her alone.

As the night was settling in many shops were open and people crowded the streets. We were walking through the crowds as the villagers greeted us and congratulated shisui on his promotion since they saw the exams on TV. Everyone was cheerful until they saw sasuke and his team behind us. They're joyful faces turned to cold hard glares as they whispered hurtful things.

Things like "look...the traitor finally returns after all this time. Why doesn't he and his team just go to hell" or "the red head one looks like a slut with those small shorts".

I looked back to see the red headed named Karin glared down at the ground since the villagers didn't like her or her 'beloved sasuke-kun'.

We walked down streets that were less crowded to the compound but that didn't stop the villagers with they're rude comments about sasuke and his team. We finally reached the gates to our house which was a relief. Sasuke stared at the house in shock since he hasn't seen his old home in years even with the changes we made.

"Everyone could you take off your shoes at the door. I don't want the floors getting dirty." I took my heels off quickly and took daisuke to the living room to put him in the crib me and itachi had set up for when I'm cooking.

I set him in his crib but started to fuss as soon as my hands let go of him. I lightly rocked the crib and hummed to him as he stared to settle down. Once he quieted down I headed to the kitchen to get started on dinner.

"After dinner we'll discuss the rooms that you'll be staying in and what chores you'll be assigned to help around the house. Shisui, how about you take our guest to the dinning room to set the table" I smiled to shisui as I started to make the dangos and slice tomatoes.

He nodded his head and took jūgo's hand and pulled on it. "Come on jūgo-san if we get it done faster then we could go and play with my toys in my room. You too suigetsu-san, karin-san."

I felt joy watching jūgo and suigetsu smile at shisui as they walked to the dinning room. Looking to karin she gave a small smile then walked behind suigetsu and jūgo and started to argue with suigetsu.

'Maybe she's not that bad, but then again I can't make any assumptions just yet. Now jūgo and suigetsu on the other hand are sweet but if they do anything to my babies I will murder them' I dropped the other ingredients into the pot for the tomato soup and closed the lid to let it cook.

After the table was set by shisui and the others, shisui took our guest to his room so they can play as they waited for dinner. Sasuke and itachi sat in silence as both men watched daisuke taking a nap.

The soup was soon done right when the dangos were ready. I started to plate all the food and take it to the table but itachi grabbed the dangos from my hand.

The last time I made dangos was for our 100 day anniversary, I tripped and dropped them while I was pregnant with shisui. Itachi caught me before I fell but the dangos couldn't be saved. He was very upset that he sat outside in the garden for almost a week until I made dangos again for him. He was happy after that but ever since then itachi never let me make dangos for the rest of my pregnancy​ with shisui or daisuke.

Right before we walked to the dinning room I stopped and looked in the living room to see sasuke looking at daisuke as he awoken from his nap.

"Itachi" he looked back at me and I motioned him to come back. Once he was next to me he gave me a confused face as to why I called him.

"I don't think it's a good idea to leave daisuke with sasuke" I look back into the room as daisuke was just looking around the room on his back and sasuke watching him from the couch.

"It's fine sakura, the kids have to get to know him. I know he has good in him, why else would he come back to the village without killing anyone" itachi looked down at me and placed his hand on my cheek.

*Sigh* "Fine but he does anything to our kids I will murder him" I looked back to sasuke and daisuke looking around the room then turn back to itachi eating a dango.

"Itachi don't eat the dangos they're for dinner" itachi ran to the dinning room and I tried to chase him while trying not to spill the tomato soup.

After everything was set on the table, I walked to shisui's room to let everyone else know dinner is ready.

"Shisui dinnert-...." karin and jūgo were both tied up with some blankets while suigetsu was drawing on karin face. Shisui drew a mustache on jūgo's and a small beard to go with the mustache.

"Shisui, what are you doing to jūgo-san" I walked in to the middle of the room where jūgo and karin were tied up. He looked up at me and started to laugh while he colored in the beard he drew on jūgo.

"Jūgo-san is my prisoner since we're playing ninja. I caught him and now I'm doodling on him...and I'm just about done. What do you think jūgo-san" he grabbed a mirror he had on his dresser and held it up for jūgo to see his face.

Jūgo looked at himself in the mirror and then looked back to shisui. He gave a small smile then started to chuckle and shisui joined in and laughed as well.

"What do you think of my new look sakura-sama" jūgo looked up at me with delight in his eyes and a small smile to compliment his good looking face.

"You look pretty handsome but not as handsome as my babies" I laughed while I was untying the blankets from jūgo and karin.

"I'll take what I can get" once I freed both of them jūgo got on his feet.

"Karin-san what did suigetsu draw on you...?" I tried not to get angry at the mean words suigetsu wrote on her face. The words ugly, stupid and weak stared back at me as she looked up at me.

'Even if I don't like the girl she doesn't deserve getting those hateful things written on her.'

"Suigetsu-san" I glared at him and his face seemed to lose it's color and turn white. I unwrapped the blanket from karin and helped her to her feet.

"Take karin-san to the bathroom and wash this off her face now. Shisui take jūgo to your bathroom, I'm gonna have a little chat with suigetsu-san" I glared straight into suigetsu's eyes and could see the fear setting in his eyes.

"Follow me I'll show you to the guest bathroom" karin and suigetsu followed right behind me as we walked down the hall to the last door on the right.

I opened the door and flip the light switch on. The bathroom made both karin and suigetsu gasp at how big it is for just a guest. I walk to a shelf that had the hand towels and gave it to suigetsu.

"Get some soap and wash her face off. While you're doing that I'd like to speak to you about why you wrote those words on karin's face."

Suigetsu started to wet the towel and put a little bit of soap, mixing it together to make bubbles. He gentle started to scrub karin's face making the markers smudge on her face.

"Now suigetsu-san, why did you write those mean things on karin-san's face. Your lucky she couldn't see them or she would've beaten you up" I leaned on the wall next to the sink where suigetsu was washing karin's face.

"...I don't know... I thought it was funny but..." He stopped scrubbing karin's cheek and looked down to the ground.

"But what, did you start to regret writing those hurtful words on her because of what she would do to you?" I leaned over to try to see suigetsu's face but his hair was in the way.

"Well yeah I did start to regret what I wrote on her...but not for that reason".

"Then what was the reason suigetsu?" karin picked his head up to look her in the eyes even though she can't really see without her glasses.

"I wrote those words on your face because...if I wrote what I truly felt about you, you'll never return the feelings back to me..."

Suigetsu's face dropped back down to the floor as karin looked at him with a hurtful face. She picked his head back up and stared him straight in his eyes.

"You know...your an idiot for not seeing that I actually feel the same way that you do since the war had ended" she smirked at him as his eyes widened in shock, hell it even shocked me, a blush started to come across his cheeks.

"Well, it's good you two worked things out cause honestly I can see a spark between the both of you. Now finish washing up, dinner's ready. I don't want any funny business in here, I'm gonna make sure jūgo-san and shisui aren't playing around in the other bathroom" I left with a smirk on my face as the two of them started to blush.

'She's not that bad like everyone says she is, she just needs someone to point her in the right direction'.

I walked to shisui's room to get to the bathroom that he's using to help jūgo clean his face.

'I just hope shisui's not playing with the bubbles like he did the last time boruto was sleeping over'.

Well I know it's been a while guys but here it is. I hoped you liked it I've been working on it for a while. Next chapter I might put in the conversation Itachi and Sasuke were gonna have from earlier but you'll have to wait and find out in the next chapter.
