Chapter 5
Henry pulled up in front of Astrid's house. "Is this the one?" He asked and pointed at a light blueish-grey house. Astrid nodded and unbuckled her seatbelt. "I'll be back in a few..." She said and got out of the car. Henry watched her jog up to the door, unlock it and disappear inside.
Henry pulled out his phone and opened Spotify. The car connected to his phone immediately and the music lists came up on the small screen in the car.
Meanwhile, inside the house, Astrid was stressed.
She took a record short shower, changed and gathered a few of her clothes in a big bag, - she had a feeling she'd stay at Henry's place for a while. To her surprise, she felt so much happier when she was with him. She didn't want to admit it because, while she looked tough on the outside, she was actually a sensitive soul and she'd lie if she said she hadn't taken a liking for that teacher of hers.
Trying to somewhat hurry, she hoped she hadn't made Henry wait for long.
Going out through the front door and locking it, she turned around and saw something she wished she could've recorded.
Henry was sitting in the car, moving his arms in the air as if he was playing on the drums and wiggling around in the driver's seat.
Astrid laughed, shaking her head. She started walked up to the backside of the car, knocking on the glass. The sound of the window rolling down was heard and a catchy song escaped from the car.
"What?" Henry asked, his voice; sassy. Astrid cocked her head and placed a hand on her hip, looking at him. "Fine."
The sound of the luggage door unlocking rang in her ears and she opened the door.
She threw in her bag and closed the door before walking up to the passanger side and getting in.
"So, care to tell me where we're going?" Astrid asked before pulling out the seatbelt and buckling up. "That's still a surprise," Astrid signed in frustration, crossing her arms.
"Aw, come on. It won't be a surprise if I tell you now, would it?" Henry asked and looked at her.
Astrid bit her lip. "Fine."

"The Zoo?!" Astrid yelled and turned towards Henry with a jump. Hiccup's face started to crack up he laughed. He really couldn't be serious for too long without her. "What? You said that you liked animals and since it's Easter break, why not go to the Zoo?"
Astrid looked at him and bit her lip. "Thank you, Henry. Last time I was at the zoo, I was five and it was with my parents," She confessed. Unbuckling her seatbelt, she leaned over the middle console and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a somewhat awkward hug. She felt his arm on her waist and she smiled. "No problem."

"Woah, this is so cool," Astrid said.
They were walking in a tunnel under a pool full of different kinds of fish. A few bull sharks were seen swimming around from time to time.
Henry didn't care about the fish though, - even if it was really beautiful. He cared about the human being that was standing beside him. The person that was more beautiful than anything he had ever seen before.
"Indeed it is."
"Are you even paying attention?"
"Why?"
"Because you've been staring at me for the last few minutes."
Snap. She wasn't supposed to notice. Am I that obvious? He asked himself. Henry chuckled. "It's not my fault that you have to be so goddamn beautiful," He answered without any shame.
Astrid stopped in her tracks and looked up at him. "...y-you think I'm beautiful?" She asked, tears glistening in her eyes.
Henry turned towards the blonde and smiled, hesitating but placing his hands carefully on her cheeks. A tear rolled down her pearly skin and stopped at where his thumb rested, pooling. He wiped it away.
Henry smiled. "Of course I think you're beautiful, Astrid. You're special. You really are," He said and looked at her, his eyes meeting hers.
Astrid closed her eyes, tears just rolling down her cheeks as she lifted her hand and grabbed his wrist.
She didn't pull away, though. Henry caressed her cheek with his thumb. "Astrid," He whispered. The blonde hummed and opened her eyes, looking up at him.
Henry pried his hand away from her puffy cheek and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Don't ever let someone tell you stuff that you aren't."
Astrid smiled and nodded. "Okay. Thank you, Henry."
"It's actually Hiccup."
"What?"
"My name is actually Hiccup, I just introduce myself as Henry to not have people laugh at me," He said and he shrugged. "It's cute but, why that name though?" Astrid asked. He shrugged again. "I don't know. I either hiccuped too much when I was a baby or I was just the small one. Either way, my dad named me Hiccup."
Astrid nodded. "Well, shall we go, Hiccup?" She asked with a smile.
He gave her a smile back and slid his hand down her arm to grab her hand.
They walked through the Zoo, feeding Giraffes, looking at a few Otters, Wolves, and Kangaroos, visiting the exotic house full of Meerkats, Anacondas and spiders. Astrid even got the chance of holding a Tarantula. Hiccup shuddered when he saw it but Astrid was excited about it. Hiccup took pictures of her with different kinds of animals and got a few people to snap a picture or two of them together.
A few had said that they were a beautiful couple and they just blushed.
The road home was silent though. The radio was going with a few nineties songs coming up from time to time. Astrid had her head leaned against the window, looking at all the buildings, fields and trees that were passing by.
She must've fallen asleep because she awoke when she felt someone trying to pick her up. "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up," Hiccup said and pulled back. She looked around and saw that they were at his place. "It's fine. You don't need to carry me. I can walk on my own," Astrid said and got out of the car.
"Okay, I have your bag at least so let me carry that," Hiccup insisted Astrid chuckled, "Fine. This one time," She said and closed the door behind her. Hiccup locked the car and it beeped twice. They made it inside the warm house where one certain black cat greeted them.
"Hello, Toothless," Astrid said as she was taking her shoes off. The cat circled her legs before standing up on his hind legs and putting his front paws on her legs. "He wants you to pick him up," Hiccup said, standing at the door into the kitchen.
"Oh, you want me to pick you up?" Astrid asked. Toothless meowed and crooned as she picked him up. "Jesus, you weigh a ton," Astrid said, hands under his armpits. She adjusted her hold when she stood upright, turning him sideways and putting her arms under him. The cat settled down into her arms, his tail and his right leg hanging off.
Astrid talked into the kitchen and greeted Hiccup. "Living your best life right now, huh, Toothless?" Hiccup asked him. The cat's tongue rolled out and he started purring. Astrid chuckled and pressed a kiss to the cats head.
"Lucky bastard," She heard Hiccup mutter under his breath, looking at them. Astrid shot him a playful smile.

Astrid sighed in contentment as she let her hair down in the bathroom. She was happy but exhausted from today. It was great and she for sure wouldn't forget this day. She looked at herself in the mirror, brushing her fingers through her hair. Why am I feeling this way? She asked herself. Do I love him? What if I do? Does he feel the same? Or is he really only trying to help me? I don't know what to do. Can I really be in love with my teacher? He's not like...ten years older than me but, still? I mean, he's really kind and genuine and-
"Astrid? You okay in there?" She heard him say. "Yeah, I...uh, I'm fine. I'm coming, hold on," She said and ran her fingers through her waist-long hair. Unlocking and opening the door, she almost hit Hiccup in the face with it.
"Sorry, I was just lost in thought," She apologized and looked at him. He didn't say anything, just stared at her. "Hiccup-?" She was cut off when his hand slowly went into her hair at her ear. He brushed his fingers through her silky hair.
He stepped closer to her and her hands flew up, landing on his chest.
Her heart was racing a million miles per hour when his nose touched hers.
Is he going to kiss me? She thought.
I'm gonna kiss her. I need to. If I won't, I'll go crazy, He thought.
Hiccup leaned in and his lips brushed against hers and he felt her hands grab his shirt and wrap around his neck. She leaned up and connected their lips. Hiccup thought his heart would jump out of his chest and he was sure she felt it too because she had her chest pressed against his.
Hiccup wrapped his arms around her back and waist, pulling her closer to him, - if that was even possible. His hips ached from having hers crush against his and he felt her nails rake over his scalp, sending shivers to run up and down his back.
Their tongues met and he heard Astrid moan softly. It sent a jolt far down south and he cursed himself for getting turned on then and there. He pulled back slowly, Astrid following after him for one last peck before breaking away. His eyes cracked open and he looked at her.
She was so beautiful. Red, swollen lips, cheeks flushed with a rosy-pinkish color and her blue eyes were half-lidded. She looked at him and a small smile crept onto her lips. She licked them when she looked at his before looking him in the eyes again.
"I..I've been wanting to do that for such a long time now," He said, his nasal voice barely over a whisper. "Then...why didn't you?" She asked and smiled. "I don't know. I didn't want to scare you off," He confessed, pulling his hand back from her back and brushed her bangs out of her eyes.
"You could never scare me off," She said, gazing into his eyes. Never in her life had she seen eyes so green. She knew she would have to remind herself that he's real. She can barely understand it though. How can a person like him want her? She doesn't know but, she's so happy that he's such a sweetheart and not treating her bad.
That night, she fell asleep with a smile on her lips and in the arms of the guy she cared about deeply. She felt safe and she hoped she'd get more nights like this.
